Despite hours of operation being 8am-5pm the doors are locked and no one answers the phone. Ever since they implemented the 24-7-365 stuff, I guess no one comes into work? There should be staff in the gym during the hours the gym is open.

The gym is always great, I love the equipment. there’s a short lady with glasses that’s always very rude and always has a bad attitude. I’ve been polite and respectful to her despite how she is and she’s still the same. I talked to other people about it and they’ve also had bad experiences with that lady. She works in the late evenings. 🙃

Visited in April 24 for a Parris Island graduation and this is the best gym I have ever been to by far that the USMC has. You all are very lucky to have such a facility. Keep up the great work

BATHROOMS NEED A COMPLETE CLEANSING/OVERHAUL... THERE'S DUST ON THE AIR VENTS THAT LOOKS LIKE ITS BEEN THERE FOR DECADES... THE COLD WATER DOESN'T WORK IN THE MALE SHOWERS. THE SHOWER CURTAINS ARE NASTY AND NEED TO REPLACED. THE MOLD STAINS ARE EITHER PERMANENT OR PEOPLE AREN'T CLEANING. SINK WATER PRESSURE IS LOW.

Phenomenal gym to work out at while I was traveling here. Has up to date gym equipments and its own room dedicated to free weights and squat racks (+6 adjustable benches and 4 squat rack platforms with bumper plates) professional and friendly staff. Highly recommend this gym over the other bases near the area. Great location too on base next to the galley and across from the exchange

We've done every branch except Coast Guard and this was the best gym out of any branch from coast to coast. The inside had numerous rooms, loads of equipment, nothing was broken (some other branches need to take note). Yet the best was the outside 24 hour gym!!!!

Its basically planet fitness. Music is so low you can't hear it. Be careful if the weights make a noise too the staff will say something to you. Decent gym though they have what you need.

Always clean, well equipped, friendly staff and good variety of activities. The patrons are generally good mannered and respectful of each other. This rivals any gym between Charleston and Savannah. They also staff a sports trainer, high intensity instructor and several nutritionist who are all very knowledgeable and personable.

Good sized gym. Cardio upstairs, weights downstairs. Several machines/sets available to minimize the wait. Sauna is hit or miss to be in working order. Large, clean bathrooms and locker rooms. Showers are small, but clean and private. Friendly staff. Tons of classes offered weekly. Rock climbing wall. Not kid friendly. No daycare offered. Must show military ID at the door. Hours vary and closed on holidays.
