I can’t say enough good things about this gym. The entire space is thoughtfully designed for the 50+ age group, which makes it incredibly welcoming, safe, and motivating. Their concept focuses on strength, mobility, and longevity—and it truly shows in the way the workouts are structured.
I’ve been training with Jesse and Brandon, and they have been absolutely phenomenal. After recovering from an ACL injury, I wasn’t sure how quickly I’d be able to get back to lifting or even moving confidently. Thanks to their expertise, patience, and personalized programming, I’m now back to exercising at full capacity. They knew exactly how to push me without overloading me, and they helped rebuild my strength in a way that feels both safe and empowering.

I love MOVMNT! I love the owner, the staff, the facility, and especially my trainer!
I was pretty intimidated at first but Jess has helped me overcome most of that. She has been patient and so helpful. I love how she changes up my workouts so each one is different. We have also worked some on nutrition and thats been scary for me! I'm just very thankful to have her as my trainer. I have a “LONG” way to go and have had some setbacks but all in all I feel like I'm on the right track and I look forward to showing up for each of my workouts.

Fantastic gym and results. Working with Jeese has truly been transformative - he's simply the best trainer I've ever worked with. In three months, he's helped me fix an old shoulder injury more than dozens of other trainers have been able to over years. And, I got stronger and lost weight in the process. I’ve only been training at MOVMNT Personal Training for a few months, however, I hope to continue for years to come. I train with a small group, and being the newest to the group, they’ve made me feel as though we’ve trained together for years. Seriously!! Lexi, our trainer, is amazing. Don’t be fooled by Lexi’s small stature, Lexi is ten foot tall and bulletproof. Lexi has a plan each and every morning, but never two the same. Lexi keeps it changed up. Therefore, it isn’t boring. I joined MOVMNT in May 2024 and it was the absolute best thing I’ve ever done for me, to get myself healthy and feeling good. For me it’s all about accountability since I tried many, many avenues in the past, with no success. Brandon is my coach and he’s terrific! I show up to his workouts twice a week, and actually look forward to them. He’s very encouraging, helpful, understanding and always brings his good sense of humor to the workouts!

Excellent strength training program (that also includes some balance work and conditioning) for people aged 50+. An extensive client intake and body scan enable Andrew and the other coaches to tailor a program that starts where each client is, health-wise, and build from there. The exercises are varied and challenging, yet doable.
Two and a half months ago, I was beginning to have mobility issues with stairs; now I bound up them and have so much more energy. I feel like I have a new lease on life! Completely worth the investment in my health.

MOVMNT is not your typical gym/workout facility. It is geared towards ages 50 and beyond. I was very impressed with the initial consultation with Andrew (the owner). He took a very thorough health and prior workout history which allowed him and his team to customize a workout plan for my wife and me. What I particularly like is that the plan includes a nutritional analysis which will help further my fitness goals. I look at this as a lifestyle workout plan. Brandon, my trainer, has been fantastic. In this time the exercises have barely repeated themselves, I feel fantastic when I leave e.g. 0 issues with doing exercises incorrectly, and frankly I look forward to seeing him every session.
The nutrition component was also helpful and exceedingly practical. I’m thrilled with the progress I’m making in the numbers.

I started personal training at MOVMNT 2x/week with Brandon in late September. I’m 69 with a number of (too many 😆) physical limitations, and am so happy with the progress I’m making! Brandon (and Andrew, the owner) are clearly committed to their clients’ success, and are skilled at modifying my workouts to make them “challenging yet attainable”. They also provide nutritional counseling, and offer biometric assessments monthly to objectively track progress.
Personal training is certainly a financial “investment”, but what better to invest in than health and fitness, especially as we age!! I highly recommend MOVMNT and their expert, friendly training staff. The environment is a comfortable place for seniors to work out, and the gym is a fabulous addition to Park West and Mt. Pleasant!

Outstanding! They create a personal training program designed specifically for your needs (and limitations) and full body as well. Within weeks I regained flexibility, strength and cardio (without having to shock my body into fitness). Andrew (owner & trainer) and Brandon (personal trainer) are in lockstep with their philosophy, experience and goals. They foster a positive and friendly environment where you immediately feel like a teammate. The facility is spotless clean and nicely equipped. Never do you feel crowded or rushed to move through your program. After my first 6 weeks, there is nothing routine in their preplanned workout! Each time I arrive Brandon has a well balanced plan for that workout and he records results meticulously to ensure a well designed and balanced next experience while moving towards your goal.
