Even though I am going to miss the old building, I can not wait to see what is in store at the new spot!

They sent me a spam text soliciting membership. I never gave them my information and this is extremely poor form in gaining new customers.

This is a good facility. Great layout, good classes, really great trainers that are dialed into what your individual fitness goals are. If you are thinking of a gym to go to or a franchise to become a member O2 Fitness - Pine Point could be a perfect fit for you.

I give 5 stars because I love this gym but 1 star because they are relocating and getting rid of the 24hrs. Thats a huge part of this gym and they will lose a lot of members because of this. I for one will be leaving because I have to have 24hrs for my job. Love you O2 but going to miss you.

Great gym with good atmosphere and friendly staff.
Good selection of free weights, cardio equipment and machines.

24hr lots of equipment. Despite the overwhelming price for personal trainer. Its actually a good gym.

Great equipment at a convenient location open 24 hours! This gym is different than the other ones in the area as you have a lot more options with free weights instead of just machines and racks.

The gym itself is great, but the customer service leaves something to be desired. I recently rejoined (I’ve been a member off and on since it was East Shore) and was pressured into signing up for a personal training session. I told them I didn’t want to and was guilted into it because β€œit’s free when you sign up” and β€œif you don’t I’ll get in trouble”. I was unable to make it anyway and when I called to cancel I was treated like I was stupid because I didn’t know the name of the trainer I was scheduled with. It’s hard to know something I was never told. So, long story short: full range of equipment (some of it is clearly very old but everything works), clean facility, don’t interact with the staff unless you have to.

I was definitely spoiled by checking out James Island location first. That place is really nice, but this one is terrible. I don't have too much positive to say. I can't believe they are charging $80+/ month for a couple to sign up and such a run down location. James Island and West Ashley are night and day and unfortunately West Ashley got the bad end of the deal. Outdated equipment. Un-matching and out of order free weights. Some of the weights are so old that you can't even read the numbers on them. Ripped Leather on a ton of machines. Several of the machines need oil. Basically NO TVs at all. Locker room is cramped and no sauna at this location. It's rumored that a new West Ashley location will be opening some time soon, and it is pretty obvious that management and/or owners have stopped caring about this one probably for that reason. If they were smart they would offer free or massively discounted membership at this location for anyone with a West Ashley address until the new one opens. I was really disappointed because my brother and sister and law are members at James Island and we wanted to sign up to work out with them on occasion, but since 90% of our sessions would be at West Ashley, we aren't signing up. We really tried to give it a chance and did the 3 day trial. We worked out Sat/Sun and today. Too many other options in the area to settle for this place. Only real positives were the fact that the place was basically empty Sat and Sunday. We did meet 2 friendly staff members Alex and Cindi.

do not let them lie to you and you it is not a contract I would never have signed a contract because I knew I would not be fully committed needless to say I paid for 3 months without stepping inside during the time then had lost my credit card so it canceled the auto payment then 6 months later creditors calling me for 600 for remainder of contract so left GM of west Ashley store a message and it was supposedly taken care of now 3 months later I get a call from someone that bought the debt from them and is calling me THIS COMPANY IS SCAMMER

I like the gym well enough. I usually go to the Hanahan location which is open 24/7. But I have issues with the management in West Ashley. I signed up to get a personal trainer to work with one trainer in particular. He left the gym not even 1 month after me signing the contract. I was not notified of this until I came in for my next session with my trainer and he wasn't there. I was not given the option to discontinue my contract or work with a new trainer. The new trainer they gave me only wanted to give me 1 maybe 2 workouts a months...for $140?! No thanks! So I tried to cancel my training. And they charged me for the next month even though I have told them repeatedly I do not want the training services and will not use it. But who cares about actual customer services? NOT THESE PEOPLE!

I love this gym. It's great to have gyms all over town as well as 24-hour access to several gyms.

When I went to cancel my membership after my 12 month contract, they tried to charge me an additional fee of $39 which was not in my contract. Before that, they tried to shame me into not cancelling at all. Needless to say, they make it extremely difficult to cancel your membership, and they will try to fleece you for extra money on your way out the door.

The gym itself is pretty average. There are a decent number of treadmills and ellipticals, but there is only one squat rack. I'd recommend going somewhere else.

This is my first Gym I've joined in a while and they really set the bar high. Plenty of equipment for people to use with a knowledgeable staff to help in any way. If you are looking for a quality gym for a good price this is your place.

I would recommend the membership side they are awesome. I would not recommend the personal training side or at least do not get help from Brittney when doing any of the contracts she tells you one thing and you end up signing something else so needless to say im out of $240 and I will never go back and they refuse to make it right. And after doing research im not the only one they have done this to. So sooner or later it will catch up with them.

Why are gyms still using this business model? I walk in dead set on working out and getting a membership. But no, they won't show me pricing on memberships. I have to sit down first and play 20 questions with some sales rep, who first bores me to tears for 30 minutes with personal questions, then FINALLY shows me the pricing. And admittedly the equipment is decent, but the prices are just too high.

I am giving this place two stars because the equipment is decent. But don't go here unless you want to deal with the pushy, annoying sales process and pay too much.

I'm only giving this gym a 1 because there isn't an option for zero stars. When this was actually ESAC it was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. Since the switch to O2, things have gone massively down hill. The staff is all about signing up memberships now. It is fairly obvious. They also really seem to neglect the cleaning and restocking of the work out area. Cancelled my membership on the phone in mid November. I was explained that because I didn't give them 30 days notice I would also be billed for December. I sucked it up and said ok. But because I didn't follow up my phone call with an email to put my desire to cancel my plan into writing, I was charged again in January. When I spoke to the girl who handles memberships, she told me it was a policy that they cannot accept cancellations over the phone. Moral of the story.... any other gym in the area is better than here.

Easily the worst gym in the Charleston area. The staff and gym are both terrible. The staff are beyond incompetent. The gym itself still has esac on the outside of it.

I am not a member of ESAC, but I have been to the gym several times for massages with Bodywurx by Jimmy. HIGHLY recommend Jimmy for massages and especially deep tissue massage. The gym is clean and the staff is always courteous when I have been in. There is always convenient parking as well.
