Fantastic environment here for growth and development. My daughter went here for several years and throughout the time there she was always learning new skills, she also ended up as part of their cheer competition squad and enjoyed that whole adventure. We ended up traveling all over the east coast for competition events and we made a lot of memories along the way. The staff here truly does care about the well being and development of the children here.

My oldest daughter has been attending Olympia for after school and summer camp for 4 years and my youngest for the last 2 years. My oldest daughter also competes on their competition team. I cannot say enough good things about this place. My daughters love to go here and often complain when I pick them up “too early” because they were having so much fun. I love the staff and all they do for my kids!

The team there truly care about your kids. Their afterschool/summer camp program is reliable and communicative. It takes a village and I’m glad Olympia is apart of ours.

Taking our entire cheer team to Olympia Gymnastics was one of the best decisions we’ve made for skill development! From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive. They worked closely with our athletes to improve their tumbling and stunting techniques in a fun, structured environment. We saw noticeable progress in such a short time!
I also enrolled my daughter for individual gymnastics training, and I couldn’t be happier with how she’s thriving. The coaches are patient, professional, and truly invested in the growth of every child. She looks forward to every session and is constantly showing off new skills she’s learned.
Olympia Gymnastics offers the perfect balance of discipline and encouragement. Whether you’re a team looking to level up or a parent wanting to give your child a strong foundation in gymnastics, I can’t recommend this place enough!

As a former coach and gymnast at Olympia, I can confidently say that the coaches and staff genuinely love and care about every kid that steps through their doors. This gymnastic center has the absolute best interest of their gymnast and staff in mind at all times. The coaches and staff invest everything they have into fellow staff members and gymnasts both in the gym and outside of it. As I’ve moved state to state, I’ve continued coaching for other gymnastic centers, and Olympia is by far the cleanest. They clean their mats after each class (and they did this way before the pandemic) which most gym do not do. Not only do the mats get cleaned but everything else in the facility gets throughly cleaned daily. As a competitive gymnast, the team coaches always pushed for your personal success. They could be tough at times, but it was for your personal growth. As a coach, I now understand the toughness placed on the gymnast because now I see the love and efforts that are poured into each and every gymnast to succeed.

All of my siblings go here and love it! I attended gymnastics here and I made life time friends here. And I love how they have a Bible class for all the kids in the after school program. I would recommend this to everyone with kids!

Just awful. My 2 granddaughters went here for over a year, and my MIL’s niece went and had just the same experience as I did. Straight unorganized and unprofessionalism from every employee I’ve been in contact with. Granddaughters were complaining about lack of activity as well as respect from coaches, so I took it upon myself to analyze through the windows and witnessed them sitting in the same spot for 20+ minutes. No attention, no music playing during those minutes in case it was genuinely something important, no stretching, etc. People pay to have their children taught skills and I’ve witnessed 0 coach genuinely teaching here.
MIL’s observation: Was speaking to a lady at the front desk and witnessed a kid getting SCREAMED at through the back glass door for asking for their water bottle to be filled. I mean screamed at. It’s ridiculous how no one else has genuinely tried to get a change in this place.

I personally went here for most of my elementary school years for after school before I moved. I don’t go anymore so I’m not sure who still works here but they treated me very badly. I was yelled at constantly and not given help when asked. They were also not very inclusive with me when I brought up how a specific group of girls were bullying me. Overall there are better places, since that experience. I’m in middle school now btw.

My daughter is on the cheer team at this gym and after winning first place at a competition last weekend the owners of the gym decided to fire the coach's without notice. The owners held a parents meeting where they explained they were all about the children. We have several friends who have children that are in multiple programs and we are hearing they are dropping children of parents that disagree with the fact they fired the coaches. I would not recommend this gym to anyone.

The staff is caring and knowledgeable. This facility allows the kids in its after school program to complete homework, sing, play instruments, watch movies, eat snacks, build blocks, basketball, and gymnastics on every apparatus. Well rounded gym.

We've been fortunate enough to be members of the Olympia gymnastics family for over five years. Through after school program attendance and competitive team participation our family has been blessed by this organization that strives for our children's growth academically, culturally, spiritually, and athletically. Nowhere else would you find a gym, or an after school program/summer camp program that's run with the level of professionalism and care as Olympia. And let me add that what other after school program or camp has 10's of thousands of square feet of recreation space, gymnastics classes AND keeps summer fun with the multiple weekly field trips!

Olympia has been WONDERFUL for our three girls! Being adopted out of foster care, our girls struggled with self esteem and team building skills. Olympia has given them confidence in themselves and has shown them what can happen when you put in hard work and have determination to accomplish specific goals.
Olympia is also very active with our local nursing homes. My girls love the opportunities given to them through Olympia to spend time singing, drawing, and playing handbells in the nursing homes. They are reinforcing to our daughters that it's always best to have a servant's heart. We are blessed to be a part of the Olympia team!!

My daughter is going into her 4th year at Olympia gymnastics and I stay very active with the gym and events that they host. My review is from years of personal experience with the gym and the staff. The owner and head coach, Trista Frazor is an extremely professional business owner who has successfully operated for over a decade, even doubling in size, while always putting the needs of the gymnasts and their families first. Olympia is Christian based and they work to make sure that each kiddo has a relationship with not only the coaches and staff, but God as well. The gym is in constant communication with parents via emails and parent meetings. Trista goes to great lengths to make it very clear what the parents can expect from the gym and what the gym expects from the parents. What I really want to say is that having all 3 of my children involved in various activities, sports and clubs in Berkeley County, Olympia gymnastics is by far the most efficiently ran with the most competent and caring staff. Every year, Olympia consistently sweeps the podiums at competitions and they boast several Junior Olympics and National champions. They teach the kids the importance of hard work, dedication and personal responsibility. They teach social skills, teamwork and what it means to support others in their pursuit of their goals. Everyone there is family, and treated as such by each and every staff member.
In addressing a recent negative review by "Debbie Smith" , you obviously weren't practicing active listening at the parent meeting and all I can say about your complaint on the prices during the fundraiser is to just wait until you have children in high school or you venture out to any school or club event. You will be paying $2.00 for a bottle of soda no matter where you go. Additionally, if you are so inclined to post slander and blatant lies on the internet, at least be proud enough of yourself to do so under your real name instead of hiding behind an alias.

I couldn't say enough positive things about Olympia. Since the day I brought my wild child in at 3 till now, she's almost 8, my family has been treated with respect and kindness. There is no better after school or summer camp program than Olympia, not to mention the competitive team program here. These children are progressing in skills that are only in the dreams of others. Aside from the skills they gain in gymnastics with body awareness, sense of self, and self worth, they also learn how to love, care for, and give in a selfless way. Kudos to you Trista, there are not many safe havens for our children these days and I truly appreciate what you offer at Olympia.

I have 2 daughters at olympia gymnastics. I personally know the staff members and trista frazor the owner. My daughters are 5 and 7. As far as recital goes, the employees stay to help for free late nights and weekends because it's not about the money its about the kids and the kids only...yes there is a small fee for children attending recital but it includes their costumes their props and it helps buy some food to sell...and if trista did announce that summer puts her in the whole then its because she doesnt care about the money it takes from her business or her own family. Trista frazor is a wonderful team coach and a wonderful person and all of her children including her self and her husband have huge hearts and will help anybody...olympia gymnastics is a christian faccility...my children have learned so much. Its ashame that some people would write negative comments about a place that really does so much. Field trips are the same I went to a few and the coaches put sunscreen on every child at least four to five times a day when they went to the beach or water park. Like I said before the coaches and staff members at olympia gymnastics are not there because of money but because of the kids and to see them happy and to keep them learning new things everyday...there is no other gym that spends the time or money on the kids like olympia does. I would recommend this gym to everyone I know.

My family has been with Olympia Gymnastics for almost 10 years. My daughter has won multiple state, regional, national, and Junior Olympic Gymnastic titles under the instruction of Trista, the owner.
I was dismayed to see the negative review by D and personally know that the claims are simply not as stated. The "debt" is not debt at all. It is simply the fees for childcare services that deadbeat parents didn't pay before skipping out to scam the next small business owner. How many other small business could survive having $37k in outstanding accounts RECEIVABLES? I've been in a lot of after school, summer camp , and team meetings over the past ten years. Trista explains the issue of non payment very thoroughly. The people who get mad are usually the people that don't pay and are asked to leave until they get their outstanding balance down to a reasonable three digit figure. Yes, you read that right.
My kids have been on the water field trips...they complain to me that they were made to get out of the water every hour to get sun blocked and then had to wait for it to "soak in" before they were allowed back in. I can guarantee you that mine did not "ask" for sun block. My kids have fair/light complexions. I learned very early on and usually the hard way that 1) sunblock expires. Buy a new bottle each year. 2) You get what you pay for. Buy good sunblock. It's for your child's protection.
Oh, I almost forgot..the complaint about the cost for the food at recital? This makes me laugh...all I can say is that since they almost ran out of food, it couldn't possibly be an "exorbitant" amount being charged.
As a gymnastics mom I can tell you that trying to get a decent shot of your little cutie mid flip or mid jump is nearly impossible. I LOVE that there was an opportunity to get a professional shot of my child!!! I still snapped pics with my phone, but they all look like she's made of silly putty.
It was also announced at the recital that the gym had placed 2nd in a nation wide contest for community service for their gymnasts outreach work with multiple nursing homes in the lowcountry. That's right. They go to nursing homes each week to spend a little time with the elderly playing games and just chatting. A few of the gymnasts play the piano and sing while they are there as well.
Anyway, seeing a less than stellar review of a place my family adores made me sad and I felt like I should let those of you who read these things know how wonderful we think it is. The truth is that there is always someone that won't like what you have to offer, but many more will think you rock...and that is why we have Google Reviews!

I am Trista, the owner of Olympia Gymnastics. I do not typically get involved with sharing personal grievances on social or public media. I handle it professionally face to face. In the case of lying and/ or slandering, it is my job to protect my staff and business.
The so called "debt" that was mentioned at a parents' meeting is not a debt but a total of outstanding tuition where people have "stolen" services from us and not paid. This was explained to a parent who was upset and wanted to know why that after being there for 3 years there was a new policy of needing a credit card on file.
As far as the sunscreen issue, I personally went on all of the water field trips except one. All of the children were sun screened 3-4 times during each field trip by the staff members. They were NEVER given the option to go and get sunscreen. Each group was called out of the water one at a time and had to wait 15 minutes for it to dry before returning to the water. On every water field trip, there were many children that did not have sunscreen or ran out, and the staff members generously used their own $10 bottle of sunscreen on the kids.
Recital: I explained at the beginning of the recital what the $45 recital fee paid for, as well as, the $5 entrance fee. I then talked about concessions, congratulatory gifts, and good luck grams explaining that those areas were part of a fundraiser. Those areas are run by our parent organization who set the prices. As I was told, the prices are set in conjunction with the going rates at other local events, ex. ballgames, cheer competitions, dance recitals.
Professional photographer: Yes! You have to pay for professional pictures...no explanation needed! Everyone was welcome to take their own pictures. Cameras were not banned!
The owner and staff at Olympia Gymnastics are dedicated to the children and pour their hearts and souls into them. Also, the owner manages her money well enough that she has doubled her facility, quadrupled her clientele, and has paid cash for everything you see at Olympia Gymnastics. Therefore...she does not need money from people like "Debbie Smith."
