Ki and Carmine are both incredible coaches!
Ki brings such a great personality to every session and always has amazing music that keeps the energy up.
Carmine is super attentiveβ€”always watching out for everyone and helping correct form and posture to make sure we get the most out of each workout.

Both of them are also really flexible with the programmingβ€”they always offer a variety of alternate workouts if something in the plan doesn’t work for you. It makes the whole experience feel really personalized and supportive.

I recently moved closer to this location on Woodruff Road and am really impressed by its cleanliness and the staff. The OTF brand is well known for its variety of workouts and local camaraderie, and I love the trackable data available in the app. I've now taken over 1300 OTF classes, including visits to lots of studios around the USA, and can confidently say Head Coach Ki is as good as it gets. I have been a member since 2019 and joining was the best decision I ever made! I always feel so welcome and the workouts are challenging but fun! I have been two several OTF studios and now I have been too several after the COVID restrictions. This studio is my favorite. Emily and Kate are so nice, friendly, professional and helpful all the time. Emily is at the studio 5am every morning with a smile! That’s hard at 5 am :) I know with all the restrictions it has been stressful for staff but they have been more than respectful. Always happy to see you and always helping to get in a class.

Besides the front desk being great the coaches have been great as well. I love OTF workout but having great coaches makes it better! Chuck Josh and Dina are always helpful and happy to see all of us. Josh helped me understand my body composite reading and gave me great tips to help target the areas I was concerned with. Taking his advice I feel the difference. Chuck always corrects and motivates you to push yourself. Dina is always taking the time to make sure you are doing your weight room exercise right and checks back in to see you are still doing it correctly. They’re encouraging and helpful! It can be intimidating coming into a new gym and from the beginning they have made me feel welcome. OTF is one of my favorite workouts but it wouldn’t work without a great staff. Thank you and I am sure they will continue to impress. I really enjoy this location. Thank you Woodruff rd OTF.

There’s so much I could say about OTF. First as I came in there was a welcome sign for me since my was my first time there. Chuck the head coach was very knowledgeable and made sure I completely understood everything that was going on. It’s hard work, but it’s fun hard work. The music is loud and great, leave your earbuds at home. I assure you, you won’t be disappointed at Orange Theory Fitness.

I like how it is a group setting. It allows for people to stay motivated to continue the workouts because you have others around you doing the same thing. The atmosphere is very upbeat and you don't even pay attention to how much longer you have on the treadmill because you aren't focusing on the screen since there are other things going on around you.

I'm 63 and started Orangetheory in February 2017 and since then (mid-January 2019) have attended over 530 classes. OTF is a game changer; I've lost over 25 pounds and about 6 inches from my waist, but I've gained a great deal of muscle. I know that it may sound like BS, but at 63 I'm stronger than I've ever been in my life. These are not "easy" workouts and I do work very hard in class. I enjoy it. How do I not get bored? Every single workout is different; no 2 are ever alike. Also, I'm a CPA and I do like numbers. We wear some heart monitor devices (currently there are 3 choices and I just switched from a chest monitor to a wrist monitor) in class so you see your heart rate, your calories burned, and the new monitor also tells you the number of steps when you get a performance summary email right after class is over. The staff and coaches are great, and they push you to "YOUR" limits, and with different ages of members, we all have different limits (and when you get to be as old as dirt, some of us have health limitations). For example, I have fragile knees and I can't do treadmill inclines or very fast speeds or I pay the price with knee pain. However, I push myself as hard as I can. I've been a member at other gyms, visited a few times, and stopped. Why is this different for me? You sign up for a class and I'm the type of person that when I make a commitment, come "hell or high water", I fulfill that commitment. I can monitor and see my results during the workout, and that is very important to me. I have had a life long weight issue, weighing 250 pounds at the start of college. I have specific health goals, not just around my weight, so as long as I'm physically able, I see attending OTF on a regular basis. Regrets about OTF? Heck yes! I wish that it would have been in existence 20 or 30 years ago!

It is the most efficient 60 minutes I have ever spent working out. Period.

In the past I've had gym memberships - I go, meander around, do a little cardio, feel a bit uncomfortable and/or confused, do some lifting, maybe work up a sweat. Occasionally, I've even taken a class; usually, they've been one dimensional. Overall...neither super enjoyable nor super productive.

OrangeTheory? I go, move seamlessly from one challenge to another, feel confident and strong, sweat my a$$ off, even stretch. Overall...easily motivated to kill it every class. One hour and I'm done for the day (or two). Love it. Period.

Awesome workout. Coach was attentive, organized with queuing each group on what they were to do next. He was there to teach/coach and encourage vs some i have seen in other trainers who just want to show off. Workout was intense and seeing your heart rate on the screen/color zone really makes you push for more on your own. Its a great visual. Loved it!

Curiosity brought me in the door. What is Orangetheory? Put simply, it's boutique fitness whose goal is to hit the heart rate sweet spot during a combination of exercising disciplines. I saw treadmills, water rowing machines, weights and steps. I was given a full and friendly tour. Here's what I liked: clean and modern facility, open seven days a week, classes most any time of the day beginning at 5 a.m. and at least three types of memberships to consider. The entire workout makes use of a wearable heart monitor, which is nice, because I don't want to drop dead trying to get fit, which was my big fear while trying out some other cross training fitness concepts. This seems to be a format that will push me without killing me, either financially or literally.

I love everything about Orangetheory! The coaches at our Woodruff Road (SC) location are professional, positive, and encouraging. The facility is simple and clean, with a great ambiance. The workouts are fun, always different, challenging, and effective. I also love the HR monitoring system. Seeing my stats on the board push me to work harder, more consistently. I've never consistently attended exercise classes/a gym as much as I have in the last 3 months since I joined OTF. It really is the best!

Great energy, great music, great personal training/motivation in a group setting that included interval training on treadmill, row, and weight room. Experience was fun and very productive use of time to get into shape in a shorter amount of time. The group setting can be for all levels as well!

Trainers are awesome! Plenty of times available throughout the week. Workouts are challenging. Tons of energy. There are a lot of young people, but even though I’m 51 and out of shape, I feel comfortable there. Come try it!

I loved the workout! I think I would benefit tremendously from working out with Orangetheory. I really need someone there to coach and encourage me during workouts, and I definitely got that here. Everyone was super nice and encouraging. The only thing I could complain about is the price. I am a young adult with very modest income and cannot see myself spending so much on a workout. I would be a lot more likely to sign up if the price was lower.

Great experience! The staff has been super nice and helpful from the beginning! I enjoyed my Free Workout and decided to join the OTF Family. That's what it has felt like since! Everyone is super supportive and encouraging! I had a little one 9 months ago and have been struggling to find my fitness groove. I decided to give this a try and have loved it! I can feel that I am pushing myself more and feel great following a workout. It feels good to be getting after it again! I enjoy the mix of cardio and strength and can tell I am starting to make some progress. You'd be crazy not to at least try the FREE workout and check it out!
