PCD’s instruction values technique while also drawing forth each dancer’s individual artistry. Although ballet is the focus, PCD produces well-rounded dancers who take classes in a range of styles. One of the main advantages of an education at PCD is that students are given ample opportunities to learn from and perform alongside professional dancers in full-length ballets. Brianna has always been loving and supportive of the students at her school and also the adults. Likewise, Antonia and Lorenna have the same type of heart as Brianna and are paid professional dancers who give their talents and heart to the school. You WILL NOT find a better school in the Columbia area!! The school is now connected to Brianna's professional company, Palmetto Ballet Theatre, which gives the students at her school the opportunity to see what it takes to be a professional dancer.

Palmetto Conservatory of Dance offers the highest quality training with the healthiest learning environment in Columbia. As a dancer who has trained at multiple studios in the area, my experience with Mrs. Brianna has by far been the most positive. The variety of classes offered at PCD open up so many opportunities for artistic growth and have lead me into a professional career. Palmetto conservatory is one of the best dance Schools in Columbia South Carolina. While teaching me not only to become a better dancer but a better person as well. Our teachers provide support inside and outside of the studio which shows the love and dedication they have for us. Not only offering rigorous and precise Ballet Classes they provide Bachata, salsa, contemporary, Carolina shag, stretching and strengthening and even tap! Brianna Taylor Kelly is doing an amazing job at running this studio and her new company as well as still dancing as a Principle Dancer. No one could do this better than her!

This studio is a gem based in the heart of Columbia, SC. They offer diverse training in any style of dance you can imagine from salsa, to pre professional ballet, open adult ballet, heels, contemporary, jazz funk and so many more.

This studio has allowed me to explore my needs and wants as a dancer. While each class has challenged me and pushed me to be a better dancer I have constantly felt uplifted and supported by the community Palmetto Ballet School offers. I cannot recommend this studio and faculty enough!

I liked this place when Radenko was managing but I am not a fan of Brianna. At first I was happy for her when she became the manager but at one point I stopped attending the adult dance classes. The first jazz dance teacher canceled a bunch of classes but did not inform the students. I emailed Brianna asking that she communicate the cancellations and she never responded. There were two times I went to the studio and Brianna had her dog and allowed her dog to run up to people. I told her that I had an allergy to dogs but she did not care, and the dog ran up to me again. The studio is also dirty at times. One summer they mixed the adult jazz dance classes with a bunch of teenagers. I think they did this to save money but it is very uncomfortable to take classes with a bunch of high school students. No, I am not a competitor but if you want to cater to adults and have adult students you need to keep in mind that we are arranging our busy schedules and budgeting our money to utilize your services. Brianna, these are signs of disrespect and I am glad that I left.

My daughter started taking ballet classes last year at the Palmetto Conservatory of Dance when she was seven years old. The owner of the school and her staff have been absolutely amazing and my daughter is so excited to go to practice each week. Every December, the school has several performances of The Nutcracker at the Koger Center which has become a wonderful tradition for my daughter and our family.

This school year, a combination jazz and tap class is now offered which has been a great addition. I would definitely suggest this school to anyone.
