I haven’t been to this location in person but I have been a planet fitness member for a long time, almost 3 years.

I’ve talked to this locations manager on the phone multiple times and they are the most unprofessional rude and disrespectful manager I have ever spoken to.

My interactions with the rest of the staff have been fine but she raised her voice and was extremely disrespectful she said her name was Monika or Monique, all I wanted was information about transferring and she treated me like garbage. I can say for sure that I will never come to this club…

I continue to become increasingly frustrated with Aiken Planet Fitness. The latest and greatest policy that staff are enforcing "all of a sudden" is that members are no longer allowed to bring any kind of gym bag into the facility. If you do, it must be locked in a locker, no exceptions. It doesn’t matter if you have medical equipment or personal items that must accompany you throughout your workout-this is strictly forbidden. Being a former gym owner I understand the liability issue of items on the floor, but like other Planet Fitness locations, encouraging members to practice common sense by placing bags on an elevated service or against the wall makes more sense. Chasing members down in the gym to enforce a policy (which is not company wide) like this is not going to win fans, retain membership or increase your revenue (or earn positive reviews on Google). Focusing on bigger issues like gym cleanliness, which this Planet Fitness can improve upon, would make a difference. Leo is a great employee and takes care of the gym when he is there however you need more bodies throughout the day cleaning more to keep up with the traffic frequenting this facility-not to mention doing a better job with prompt facility maintenance. Consistent customer service and overall "upbeat" attitude amongst all staff members would also be an area in need of attention. And finally, updating your gym equipment, especially stocking the functional fitness area with fresh bands, an adequate amount of kettlebells (which there are not), new TRX straps and more of them would be a start. Little details go a long way. My hope is that the owners pay attention and start to enforce with care and consideration the policies that make sense, make members feel welcome and improve the overall “ “workout” experience of this Planet Fitness. It’s really true-you get more bees with honey! 🍯

Ok good day. I like to give a shout out to Leo he's a good guy. Always friendly and always cheerful and likes conversations knows his job keeps the place clean. To miss Christy a great lady runs the place well and always responsive and cheerful thank you. Now on to a matter, a policy deal and alot of people our aware the bag deal on gym floor yes there policy but so many other policy they have to but seems like this one about the bag is the mostly concern about. For yrs nothing said but recently something with a certain person that owns this place is making this matter a priority above all. Well I need my bag close for my work outs and health related problems. But not on me this issue has been talked about around the gyms many want to quit. I believe this person that owns this gym needs to rethink on how to deal with this. Because Aiken can make you our break you. The equipment is out of date and floor issues that can be a tripping issue. I think it needs more concern on this than a bag. Otherwise a great place to really work out and train. Thank you.

They are a lot of very good, very smooth machines that are always in working order. People are generally polite. The staff is friendly except for one woman. The music is good, but not too loud intrusive. The restroom is touchless, which is nice. I haven’t encountered any judgmental critics. I feel stronger, healthier, and thinner.

Don't go to this club! This gym can get very crowded. They let people do whatever they want to do such as hogging equipment, sitting on equipment using their cell phone and not allowing others to use it, not wiping down equipment, dropping weights and not re-racking weights. Weights are scattered all over the gym. It is very frustrating. I never once saw the club manager walking the gym floor to make sure things are going okay. He hangs out at the front desk with the others. Do yourself a favor and go to a different gym like I have. I'm glad to be out of there! 😊😀

Just a standard PF. Nice and clean, friendly staff. But... I hate the stupid sign on the blowers in the bathroom about how wasteful paper towels are. It just makes me feel guilty for going through like 10-20 of them out on the floor when I'm wiping the machines down(as you are directed to)
You can't have your cake and eat it too PF. You might be saving on paper towels in the bathroom but that's a moot point when you're using 3x as many out on the floor. Its just dumb and a down point to every workout for me.

Leo and Bobby helped me so much to try and figure out the tanning beds and they actually took time to help me and weren't afraid to go the extra mile. I have never used a tanning bed before and Bobby sat and explained everything to me about it. Leo helped by trying to reset it after I waited too long because I did not know what I was doing 😂. Very thankful for them both!

Also, in the past when I attended, Jerry was always up and quick when it came to explaining how a machine works and good exercises for target areas.

I always find a way back to planet fitness because of great people like them.

I joined in September. In October I was in and out if the hospital (4 times in 2 weeks) turns out I need surgery. I called and stopped in to cancel my membership..was advised it was taken care of until this week when I realized I was billed for October November and December and I'm out all this money. I went back and made sure it was definitely canceled but still no refund I'm not happy...
I've already spoke to the manager. He won't do anything.

Everyone here is great so far, everything clean and working like a well oiled machine. The front desk guy Brandon is always on duty when I come in. He's a testimony to human evolution and stature. He gives motivation and security with his calm demeanor. He had patience with my elderly mother and sat through one of my rants about how the universe works... I had to move to Atlanta quite quickly, and my membership dues were the furthest thing from my mind... so no huge surprise when I checked in to my new local and discovered my dues had lapsed, but I needed it fixed immediately.
The gym is my one constant.
I called Aiken PF and was put through to Matt, who handled my issue quickly, kindly, and professionally.
Life happens BIG sometimes, and it's a warm comfort when someone goes out of their way to make issues seem smaller for you.
You can rely on the staff at Aiken PF to make you feel welcome, even hundreds of miles away.

Took my friend here to sign up for a Silver Sneakers membership. The staff was friendly but did not offer a tour first and my friend is 82 with new knees. If I thought my friend was going to actually use it often, I would have quizzed the gal more. AED on site? (Who knows) Crowded hours? (Who knows) List of classes? Changing it from a 24/7 gym is understandable, changing Friday night to close at 10pm and Saturday night to close at 7pm is not at all. I really don't understand why that makes sense but it's going to force me to get another gym membership since I work heavily throughout the week and can only go to the gym Thursday through Sunday after 10pm. There is no justification from the staff and it just seems like it goes against everything planet fitness as a franchise is about. I've happily been a member since they opened this gym and aside from them letting teenagers run amuck and work out for free I haven't had a single complaint or issue that hasn't been dealt with or handled with complete professionalism.

Recently joined and had really been enjoying it until yesterday a rude manager harassed me. I cancelled my membership the lady was nice. But I knew after being harassed I would never be able to be comfortable in the gym again. So to whomever the bald head Caucasian male “manager” present around noon on 8/24/22 ,
You definitely made me feel like I DID NOT BELONG. The approach ; the dialect ; the anger was all uncalled for! The fact you would stop whatever you were doing (I assume you were working out because the amount of sweat you had coming from your face) to come bother me after I’ve been to several other planet fitness as a guest showed me it was JUST YOU! He was so out of line it made me uncomfortable and the elder people around me.

This place is ok. I’m giving it 3 starts because I guess since it is the summer time and teens can workout for free is not their fault maybe corporate but when it becomes a hangout spot then it is. There was some teenage girl there in a dress and sandals just standing around with her friends. Then the other teens were just hanging out on the equipment not using them or using them and sitting there having whole conversation with their friends. Also, I’m allergic to dogs and so far every I’ve been there night this lady brings her dog into the gym. I shouldn’t have to come in early to avoid a dog in a gym so I don’t swell up because everyone want to touch the dog then touch other stuff and then don’t clean the equipment once they’re done. By the way it wasn’t a service animal so let not go there.

I like this gym and all but y'all need to do something about the amount of teenagers who just sit on the equipment doing nothing. I am a teenager myself and I use the Highschool Summer pass and I'm glad it's available because I don't feel like working out is as effective at home as it is as going to the gym but after around 5PM, nothing but teenagers in groups of 4 or more just sit on the equipment, doing absolutely NOTHING but talking or being on their phones. And then they just switch machines every 10 minutes to avoid being addressed . This is annoying to people who actually pay for the membership or for people like me who are making the most of their summer pass. There was a girl and her friend just on the leg curl machine just chatting and not even using the machine. Please actually address the people who are doing this, it would make mine and others time at the gym more fulfilling.

Tanning beds were dirty three different times. My daughter and I at separated times got burned by accelerant or some type of product left on the bed. There was blood on the floor in one of the rooms. Some of the staff are great, but others must think that things like these aren't a big deal. I do!! I don't want someone else's sweat or blood on me.
