I had such a great experience at this gym. The atmosphere is super motivating, SUPER clean, and welcoming from the moment you walk in. The staff is friendly and actually takes the time to help you when you need it, which makes a huge difference. The equipment is well maintained, there’s plenty of variety, and I never felt crowded or rushed during my workouts.

I’ve been coming to the Clemson Planet Fitness since it opened my sophomore year, and now as a senior I can honestly say I’m going to miss it when I graduate ☹️ My friends and I usually come in to tan & it’s become part of our routine. The tanning area is always clean and everything is well taken care of, which I really appreciate. The staff makes the experience even better!! Alisabeth, Dallas, and Luke are always super friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Over time they’ve gotten to know us, and it’s been great having a gym where the people make it feel comfortable and familiar. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Clemson!!

I have been working out and tanning at this planet fitness location for a while now and have never left unsatisfied. The staff at this location specifically are always super helpful, friendly, and make everyone feel so welcome. They keep the gym spotless and are always around if you need anything. I’ve never had to wait for any equipment and everything is very well maintained and looks brand new. This is a great gym! When you walk in the very first thing you notice is it's impeccably clean, it smells fresh and clean and the temperature is just right not hot and stuffy. The second thing is the customer service. A+ A+ A+
AJ answered all my questions, and was very knowledgeable and friendly. I've never been excited to join a gym, but I really am excited about this one! I like that I wasn't rushed to just sign up right away, We walked around the gym and everything was shown to me and explained what it's purpose was. The tanning beds alone had me sold, but the helpful staff and pleasant environment are icing on the cake!

Clean gym. However I felt unwelcome the morning of the 22nd around 7:10. An employee had to stop cleaning the equipment to check me in. I gave her a kind smile and said good morning, she did not engage at all. I thanked her after scanning me again, and still received no response. Definitely felt awkward and like I was a burden. Everyone else has been very pleasant so far!

Been coming to PF in Clemson for a while. Pretty good place, staff keeps this place spotless and are always welcoming and able to help you with anything. Doesn’t have a massive selection of machines but it has everything to get a good workout in for a reasonable monthly price. I do recommend this place. Definitely the nicest gym I’ve been to.

The Clemson PF is one of my favorite clubs to attend. The layout is very well planned and feels less crowded with the placement. Never seems to get over crowed during my workouts and staff is always friendly and greets every time I come in. Front desk is never left unattended and staff actually interacts when I come in and leave for the day. It definitely feels more welcoming vs other locations. I am glad the Clemson location is my home club bc it is my all time favorite

I was just there at the Clemson location and they told me that they don’t allow jump rope! Since last year I joined planet fitness @ Seneca location and had zero issues, so when I transferred to this location all the way till today, they told me no jumping rope. I saw no signs anywhere and no member address it to me , till today! Vey sad , cause I love this location and I’ve been jumping rope since I was 14 years old and now I’m 49 and still jumping rope. I hope in the near future, they should address it to every member and post signs @ the front of the house.

I really like Planet Fitness in Clemson. It's always clean and plenty of equipment so there's no waiting. The staff are so very friendly and helpful. I gave this PF 4 stars instead of 5 because they state that you can cancel your membership any time. However, they don't explain their ridiculous charges that apply depending on when you cancel.
I went in person today, Jan.29, 2025 to cancel my membership. I was told that if I cancelled today then I would be charged for Feb. AND I would have to pay the $49 annual fee on Mar. 1! I was informed if I come in on Feb. 1 to cancel then I can avoid having to pay for the month of Feb. and the annual fee on Mar. 1. How much freaking sense does this make?
Also, if I can create a membership online then why can't I cancel this membership online?
Planet Fitness needs to update their software so that you can truly cancel anytime and not have to pay for future months or the annual fee!

Just wanted to take a moment and write about my experience with Planet Fitness in Clemson:

This has by far been one of the best experiences of any gym I have attended. I have been to many local gyms in an attempt to find where I am most comfortable. PF in Clemson has very recently been constructed. Thus, all of the equipment is brand new and allows anyone from beginner to experienced to have precise workouts. In addition, the members of PF Clemson are amazing from the staff to the regulars I get to speak with in the mornings when attending. Also, PF is by far the cleanest gym I have ever attended, which is a huge detail for me personally. Everyday you can see employees walking around cleaning equipment and dusting in areas that would more often then not be neglected at other gyms.

Vivian is always at the front counter and has never once missed saying good morning. Furthermore, she is always offering a friendly smile and good conversation. Vivian has also gone out of her way to assist with any issue I have had being a billing error or if my PF app was not working correctly. She is without a doubt a model employee of Planet Fitness.

In addition, all of the equipment is very user friendly as PF makes understanding the equipment simple with pictures/videos of how the machine works. As someone who started in the gym alone with nothing but YouTube, younger me would have been a lot less intimidated by the equipment, if I started at PF.

Overall If you are looking for a new gym or if you are just starting out, it is my personal opinion that PF should be at the top of the list. Clemson PF is also one of the most updated and clean PF in the area (Again huge for me). Nevertheless, try it out if you are looking into a new year resolution or just wanna start prioritizing getting healthy.
