The assistant manager I dealt with this morning around 11:00am caused me to cancel my membership. My bank account is drafted membership fees every month yet he is needing an alternate card on file. Why do they need additional financial information when they are being paid by automated draft from my bank?

Just your average planet fitness. Plenty of machines to use. Pretty clean and quiet at the time we went. No weight scale though.

I will say the staff at the Darlington Planet Fitness is very friendly. I am however very frustrated that Planet Fitness will not take the time to put a SCREW in a tanning bed so there is more than one tanning bed. I Pay the extra money & would like to use the facilities i pay for without having to wait FOREVER to do so!

During my tour of the gym, I specifically asked if recording content would be allowed and was told yes. Based on that assurance, I signed up for a membership. However, shortly after joining, I was told by management that I could not record — even when the gym was nearly empty. I understand that rules are rules, but I made my decision to join based on the information I was given. I feel misled and disappointed. Many fitness creators use Planet Fitness as their main gym, so it’s disheartening to see inconsistent policies here.

One of the best planet fitness’s I have been to. Updated equipment, clean, Manager and staff are helpful and friendly . Ample space and equipment at the Darlington location.

I have been to at least 10 other Planet’s in the U.S.

I am so grateful I decided to give this gym a try. I’ve been coming here for about two months now and I’ve never had a bad experience. The staff is incredibly friendly, more than happy to help you with any questions, get you set up min the black spa, or just be polite when you talk too long!! It’s a clean, comfortable, and courteous place and I am grateful for everyone here! Oh plus it’s $25 a month including the “black card membership” which has massage chairs, tanning beds, and more for perk amenities and I personally really enjoy and appreciate them!

My husband and I go the planet fitness in darlington and Collin Clark the guy behind the counter has been one of the most professional associates we've encountered in any gym. He's the one to see when you need anything at all.

As far as the Darlington SC location, we were always treated politely, but their management stands by the policy to let men in the women's locker room and has upheld it since the first email we sent about cancelling our membership. I wouldn't go to a place as a woman like that knowingly and I am advocating for everyone to stop giving money to companies who want to manipulate you into believing that if you do not love an action you are promoting hate, it's disgusting and must be stopped.

Was so excited a location opened in Darlington only to go in and be treated so ugly. I didn’t have the app and front desk refused to look up my account by my phone number as other locations did. His reply was “we do things differently here, maybe you should go back to Florence”. Customer service is everything and that desk is people’s first impression. I’ll drive to another location before I deal with ignorance. I explained I was on my break and would download it before coming back. Planet fitness many people are looking for work- hire competent people who are good with working with the public.
*also- when trying to link my membership to the app I need my barcode- which I don’t have and that’s why I needed to use my phone number- would have been great if front desk would have offered to help with that.
