I am 19 years old. I have went to this gym for almost 5 years now and there has only been one worker that consistently has show me great customer service. The "manager" or "owner" on the other hand sucks. I have said "hello", "have a great day" just trying to be a kind human being but the only time I have seen this man respond with enthusiasm is when there is a girl. He has also forced rules upon me but hasn't enforced it upon people that were bigger than him. I have delt with his cold misdemeanor for more then anyone should and it's gross that the only time I see enthusiasm is when its with girls. He's the owner and thats the standard he's set for a while. You would think in a higher position you would want to great all of you CUSTOMER'S with respect but 🙅🏾‍♂️.

Always clean, the equipment is well maintained and the staff is friendly/helpful.

They only negative is the distribution/layout of the equipment. It makes zero sense how the machines are organized in groups that make no sense. It is difficult to locate the machines you want or need to use since no proper grouping in used.

We have been going there for awhile. It has had its ups and downs with staff and maintenance. But the other day I went to leave and found my lock missing from my locker. I use the same locker daily unless in a rare instance someone else is using it. I thought it was broken into but then an employee appears and states nonchalantly I had to cut your lock. She then said someone had put their keys and not locked the locker and they needed them. I never saw any keys when I put my stuff in. So then my belongings were left unseacured for I don’t know how long. If someone had stolen my keys then they would have got into my vehicle and would have access to many items to steal and even have access to something that if stolen would have been a federal offense. This situation could have escalated very quickly. The employee should have either made an announcement or asked the few women in the club at the time if that was their locker. My lock I have been using for literally over 30 years so is much better quality than anything now. The employee offered me a planet fitness lock which is very cheap quality. And how do I know someone’s keys were really in there and why wasn’t there a witness or the employee asked a higher authas to what to do before taking it upon herself to just ruin my lock and u secure my belongings. I asked for the district managers email which the manager told an employee to write down for me. He never offered to see if he could offer any assistance. I emailed the dm and never heard back. The manager doesn’t care and there seems to be no way to talk to any higher person so I guess I just can’t trust to bring anything in the club. I was nice about it at the time but then when I got in my car I realized how this could have turned ugly. So writing this review is the best I can do it seems. Beware of bringing anything into the club as it may not be safe.

The tanning booths need some much-needed attention. It's time to upgrade!!

Well it's October 2024, not sure of the date of first post but nothing much has changed. One of the only 2 tanning booths caught fire a couple of months ago and as of this morning it's still closed up with no repairs in sight. Not sure of why it is the owner/operator of this facility doesn't get in a hurry to do anything.
I'm usually in between 2am-5am. The gentleman working those hours during weekdays is the best! He knows who I'm speaking of. Alot of others are napping in other tanning beds especially the younger ones! Ain't life grand?!

This gym has everything and enough for you to reach your fitness goals, which ever they are, of course, you need to show up! After trying other gyms, this is the one I feel the most comfortable with, and for me, it is just simply the best in the area. I have always been greeted with a smile, the staff always keeps the gym clean at all times (and I work out at different shifts, always clean). The staff is awesome (weekdays and weekends). Just come, work out, focus on your goals, leave feeling good, and repeat. Congratulations on your decision to start this journey if you already signed up!

The Easley PF facility is nice, as far as equipment and tanning; however, the staff could use an upgrade. I went in a few weeks ago to use a massage chair and tan. There were two females sitting on the counter tops and a bearded man (believe he used to be the manager at the Greer location; my home gym). None of which greeted me. This is not the first time I’ve encountered lack of customer service at this location but it’s definitely the one that will keep me from returning. The computer you sign in to use the massage chairs was apparently down so I had to ask to use the massage chair. The bearded man literally walked off without saying a word or instructing me on what to do. I stood there and waited. One of the two girls sitting on the counter finally asked if I needed something. I said yes, I’d like to use a massage chair. She said oh he’s gone to get that ready. Ok, would have been nice if he had said something. I walked around to find him and the chair I was supposed to use. Again, he said nothing. The lack of communication and professionalism between these 3 individuals is very sad. I have been to PF locations in Hickory, NC, Greer, Berea, Simpsonville, Greenville, Clemson and even Toronto, Canada. All far exceed expectations with their excellent customer service and staff. Easley personnel could use a few lessons from any of those locations.

This review is to let everyone know at this location today I left there about 4:45 p.m. someone had marked my driver's door handle with the same colored marker a yellow/ orange color. This is the second time this week that this has happened to me once here and then in Clemson. I called and gave the information to whoever answered the phone didn't get the name just a heads up to relay the information y'all be safe look out for each other if you hear something or see something say something and do something bc this is getting out of hand!.
The four stars is because the showers are always dirty🤷

After recent dental appointments in the area, we stopped in this location to work out. The workout facility is fine but the staff never greets you as they are too busy talking amongst themselves, complaining or eating behind the desk. We've been to several Planet Fitness facilities in the country and this one is definitely one of the rudest and least friendly!

The employees are apparently uninformed, and lazy .
The Mens room hadn't had any hot in over 2 weeks!!
I had even called ahead and was assured it had been fixed only to be left standing there prepped to shower and only cold water. Very upsetting!
Today they had what I assumed to be sewer flies in multiple shower stalls.
That's when I noticed the grout lines and how nasty they where .
I will not return to this establishment until they make some big changes in management!!

My husband and I have been members here for years. The staff are always fantastic. Last 6 months or so it seems there is always some sort of broken equipment but you'll have that at most gyms. We take our workouts serious and alot of planet fitness gyms seem to frown on people who are in shape trying to push there selves. It says no gymtimidation but that usually only applies to new people starting there fitness journeys. However this location seems to treat everyone fairly and doesn't discriminate. I'd recommend to anyone for the price you can not beat it.

Equipment is getting old and you never see the staff cleaning. Paper towels are almost always out. When you walk in no one even looks up to say hello or pays attention they're too busy gathered around in the circle talking to each other behind the desk. The general manager who I assume is the big gentleman behind the desk should try coaching staff how to do their jobs.

Really disappointed in the customer service. They make you sign up for a membership on the app which leads you to believe you do everything in regards to membership on the app, great! But only a couple weeks after joining I found out I had another high risk pregnancy and could not work out. I tried to cancel or pause my membership on the app right away. It was telling me I had to go to the club and couldn’t cancel it on the app. I was so sick, in and out of the hospital 4-5 times within a month and became handicap and unable to really go anywhere or leave the house without assistance and my wheel chair. I was finally able to make it to the club to cancel a couple months later, assuming they would refund me for the unused months considering I physically could not get there, I never used my membership in that time and I tried to cancel multiple times on the app. At this point they also charged me a YEARLY fee which I was not expecting and was between $50-$60 on top of the $10/ month. When I went to the club the general manager told me he could not refund me and I asked to speak to his supervisor and escalate the issue. He kept telling me that he could try but they were going to deny it. I told him to try anyways. He said they would call me with the result and that never happened. Such a scam. And very discriminatory that a person who is medically unable or handicap has to come in to the club to cancel their membership. Planet fitness clearly doesn’t prioritize care for people, but care for money. With doctors notes for bed rest and me and my baby’s life being at risk, I shouldn’t have had to go through this trouble to cancel and not even get money back for when I couldn’t get there due to their scammy policy. My family will rejoin somewhere else when medically able in the future.

I thought this was a workout facility. Just joined, and this is my closest location to me, but the few times I went, it seemed more like a hangout place than a gym. The last time I wanted to go work out, I didn't even bother going in as there were several plain clothed young adults all hanging out around the check-in desk. Obviously, not there to work out. The first time I went, there were also several plain clothed kids walking around the gym just hanging out, which made me feel really weird. I'll just go further down the road to the Clemson location.

When equipment is broke it takes so long to get fixed. Members take too long on machines because in between sets they are on their cellphones with no respect for others. The 30 min area takes over an hour to get through. I like to get in work out and get out. The staff members are great.

Easley Planet fitness is always over populated and the female shower room is disgusting (showers look so busted) not to mention they always have problems with the water heater. Sometimes you’ll get a warm shower, sometimes it’s ice cold. It’s never hot. You won’t know until you need to take one. This store is a franchise so they rarely upgrade or fix the necessary things. Do yourself a favor and make Seneca your home store.

I have been a member here for a while. But it seems lately the easley location is just going downhill. The men's locker has been broken for I know close to six months. Some urinals don't work and lately the sinks are broken. Two have no water and the last almost has no water flow. But if that's not enough. Today some lady with a 5 yr old sitting in the floor next to a tread mill is on the phone in a dumb conversation while her ear buds are in. Needless to sat it was it was loud. The whole time three employees were standing at the desk talking. I mentioned it to them and nothing. I just left. No need to hear her conversation over my music.

This review is for the Marion Road location in Greenville. I recently visited this location after being away. Everything seemed the same, except for the new crew. They seemed proficient and nice. HOWEVER I had an unsettling experience. I was sitting in the waiting area on the couch where the tanning beds and massage beds are waiting on my turn . I was looking up anytime someone came out of a room. TWO people came out of ONE hydro massage room. They looked very guilty when they saw me . I reported it but the men were long gone by that time . I want the upper management to know and I want everyone to be aware that you don’t know how clean the beds are and what you might walk in on . I love the privacy in the hydro rooms ,and all the rooms, but there needs to be some kind of monitoring or supervision in place for who goes in the rooms.
I would have given 1 or 0 stars but I still like PF over all.

I use to love this place, now I’m honestly worried.. they are letting everyone break the rules and now I’m thinking because they are slipping like that it will become like the gym I left. I left there because people were slamming weights and throwing things and almost hurt me and just being knuckleheads.And slamming down jugs and stuff.. and now it’s like that here. I’ve talked to people at the front and they just said yeah, what are you gonna do?.. we may be looking for another gym. And I hate that because I love this gym.
