I love the size of the facility with a lot of options. When I go I like to listen to an audio book and sort of ignore people, and this helps me accomplish this goal. The staff is so helpful and friendly. They could teach other employees that work with the public a lesson or 2. I love the extra options such as tanning, massages and whole body shaker machine. The building is very clean all the time with room for your stuff. I was there yesterday and felt so at ease. I have slacked off a bit lately with all the holiday goings on, but plan to get back in the swing. Always feel better after a nice visit.

I was born and raised in Gaffney but haven’t lived here for 30 years. I came to stay for a week to help care for my mom and knew I’d want to workout a few times while here. I came to PF and Carlie was so kind and understanding of my situation. She blessed me so much! The facility was clean, the equipment was amazing! There is so much equipment! I go in at lunch time and do my time in the gym then back to work. It is close by and meets my needs for a work out and relaxation. I could not ask for more. I do think there should be more reminders though for the users to clean and wiped after themselves, however, staff are great!

There is a wide selection of machines and weights, and the workers are helpful, they’ll assist you in adjusting the machine or any other questions you may have. I enjoy working out after work at Planet Fitness. I do wish there was more than 1 lay down tanning bed. The 1 bed is always in use & when I am able to use it, it's super hot & uncomfortable to use. The employees are all nice & friendly. They are willing to help whenever you have a question. I recommend Planet Fitness to my family & friends.

This is my favorite location so far. I went to the Shelby and Lake Wylie gyms prior to this. The staff is friendly and happy to answer any questions you may have. The facility is well maintained. You can enjoy your personal space thanks to the large building. The Black Card Lounge has many options including a meditation pod, red light hybrid tanning, and the usual amenities.

The Planet Fitness, Gaffney location is the best by far as far as I'm concerned. A friendly and helpful staff along with a clean environment and up to date equipment make working out there a pleasant experience. The only complaint I would have is how long it takes to get broken machines (specifically the massage chair and tv's) fixed when broken. However, that seems to be more of a corporate issue than a local one so I give this location a big thumbs up.

I love the Gaffney Planet Fitness location. Laura-lee, Amanda, Darius, and the rest of the staff are so sweet. One worker at the front desk is incredibly rude. To describe her she is short, stubby pericings and pink/purple hair I believe. Everytime I walk in the gym she always stresses me out and gives me mad attitude. I had an energy drink and as I walked in she said I could not bring it in and I needed to go put it back in my car. Which I was confused because they sell them in the coolers. I was thinking an open container but it still doesn’t make sense when they sell them and everyone brings water in!!! Then as I walked in one time I was waiting for assistance and she’s like “scan in for me to talk to you”. How can you have someone like this working the front desk who clearly looks like she has no knowledge at the gym talking to people who come to the gym to escape situations like this. She really ruins the experience, otherwise it is a very clean and nice gym

I think it’s a very clean gym. With access to lots of equipment and space. You’re never waiting for a bench,machine, or dumbbells to become available. And ALL of the cardio machines are amazing. I know lots of gym rats say that you can’t make a lot of noise and I say for what reason do you need to holler or drop wieght. I’ve been to every gym in Gaffney and I love the no judgement zone. Not for me because I look pretty good for my age body wise. But there’s LOTS of people that don’t need to be made uncomfortable. It’s cheap to get a membership and the staff are friendly.

This location is nice big spacious and clean people are friendly and the staff is nice. I still see the irony on the wall where everyone is accepted and there are no critics. Then you have the lunk alarm. Making fun of someone who works out hard or makes a little bit of noise because they are actually trying to have a good workout. It's funny a lung is someone who judges but the Planet Fitness motto is judging a "LUNK"
Also you can't wear jeans or tank tops but girls can wear see-through tights for pants that leave nothing to the imagination, which is more offensive?

Ok, this is less a review than a query for management... I love the facility, the space, the amount of available equipment, the cleanliness. However, when I purchased my membership some time back your hours were described to me as "24/5" which is to say that you were open 24 hours a day 5 days a week, and that you closed at night on the weekends. Having found you to be not open a couple times when I expected that you would be open, I checked online and these are the current hours of operation showing online.
Hours:
Sunday 7 AM–7 PM
Monday 5 AM–12 AM
Tuesday Open 24 hours
Wednesday Open 24 hours
Thursday Open 24 hours
Friday 12 AM–10 PM
Saturday 7 AM–7 PM

If accurate these hours have you being open 24 hours just 3 days of the week, not 5. For someone who works a mix of second and third shift these hours mean that your facility is available for quite a bit less of my available schedule. I can visit the gym at the time that works for my schedule just 3 days out of the week, rather than 5. And yet I see no reduction in the amount of money that is debited from my checking account every month. Please explain how you justify reducing your hours of operation without a corresponding reduction in price? Also if the schedule I shared above is inaccurate please correct it for me. Thanks.

Went to get in the tanning bed. The tanning bed was left nasty from the previous person. By the time I cleaned the bed and went to wash my hands. Most of my time was gone. So I only got a few minutes in the tanning bed. Yes I cleaned it again when I got out.
