The location is great. However, the associates that work at this location are terrible. I truly wonder if the owner of this location was desperate to hire employees, so they just hired anyone that would show up. Don’t waste your time with asking for assistance, it will be a huge inconvenience to anywho who works at this location. Pathetic.

I used to come to this location almost daily. Often I would come on my lunch break to tan. Tonight I came in and after getting lotioned up and registered to tan, I stood at the front desk for longer than 10 minutes. No employees work it be found anywhere. The gym is very slow this time of night, so he wasn't busy. As I was leaving he walked out of the break room and told me to have a good night. After wasting my hour lunch driving here to put lotion on, my night can only get better. Pick a different location!

The women's bathroom is disgusting! The toilets are never clean.... Take your own disinfectant spray if you need to sit.. One of the stalls has been out of order for weeks, and the toilet is covered in poop. My advice is to put on some gloves and clean the bathroom so your members can go into a clean private environment.

I was super excited for this location to open as it is located closer to my house than the other location, however I just cancelled due to the high schoolers taking over and treating the equipment as if it’s a hangout spot to socialize amongst their groups. Nothing has been done about it.

The new Planet Fitness in our area is certainly worth a visit. Nice and roomy, not overcrowded and even has updated machines that the Lexington location doesn't have. The spa area is very nice. And the stafff is super friendly and helpful, especially Amber!

Just joined in July 2025. So far, it's been a good experience. I just have the basic membership. It's summer time therefore many teens show up, which I am glad to see working out and not their phones. 😉 It's a clean gym, many machines to choose from and probably the better gym in the area.

Even after advising the staff on several occasions, the showers remain untouched. The gym just opened a few months ago (3-4?) but the showers have black and pink mildew building up already. Yesterday, one stall still had remnants of a soap bar that was there earlier in the week, (which prompted me to let the front desk know the showers need attention on the way out) The other looked like someones hair plug fell out. Are the showers not cleaned daily? Are they not disinfecting them? If you decide you must use the showers here, wear your shower shoes, guys....and don't touch the walls. You might catch something. Besides that, the gym is fine. Some of the staff are friendly. Some clearly don't want to be there.

The gym is okay. It's nice and clean but seriously lacking on plate loaded workout machines which I suppose is typical fir a planet fitness. Nice cardio equipment. The staff however, certainly don't make any effort to make you feel welcome. They barely look at you when you sign in and if they do, they certainly don't smile.

Problem with the black card lounge membership. If you cannot give us a time and date when it will be back open. It's almost like you're cool with it.Being shut down and some people who work .If people pay for a service,and they don't get the service then they should be reinversed. Some people like to get a massage before they work out.

Went in today for the first time with my PF black card and was very disappointed in all the things that are not working. Literally only the massage chair was working and nothing else. Some of the machines had signs that said temporarily out of use and the lockers are broken and need replacing already according to the person who took me to it. You can put your stuff in it, but have to go to staff to open it with a master key. I needed help with the machines and no one around to show me anything. So far not impressed at all.

I recently moved to Lexington from Florida. I am so satisfied with this being my Planet Fitness. There is alway’s a person at the front desk greeting you to say hello and saying have a good workout💪🏽 The place is clean and well equipped with all my favorite machines. The only take-away is, there need to be more sanitation stations where the arm and back machines are.

Not particularly thrilled with my black card membership at this moment. I understand things happen, however, I pay for extra for amenities that have not been available multiple days in a row now . I get things happen, but I work too hard for my money and time away from my child to go there and the things I am supposed to be paying for are not available to me. It’s really only fair that if what I am paying for is not available to me for an extended amount of time that my membership should be pro rated or discounted in some way. I’ve been seeing multiple planet fitnesses across town have issues with their black card lounges and I’m just irritated. I forgot to change payment info for my membership after changing banks and was charged a late fee, so fixed my payment info and got my account set up correctly again just to get to the gym looking forward to a massage or two and find out the black card lounge is still temporarily closed with no indication of when people can expect what they’re paying for to be available again. In this economy I have very little patience. It’s ok for things to go wrong, not work right, be out of order etc. That being said, if I’m paying for it and can’t use it, you should find a way to make it right.

Wide open and doesn’t seem as crowded at busier times. New equipment and all the perks of the black membership card like red light therapy, cryo beds , hydro massages. Plenty of treadmills, bikes, stair climbers, ellipticals etc…it is 24 hours which is wonderful, the only negative thing I have to say is that they have electrical issues here and there causing power outages. Which means they have shut down randomly, causing me to have to drive 20 mins to the other 24 hour location. But working out the “being new” kinks I guess.

This is the newest Planet Fitness in the Lexington area, I signed up with a great deal. The staff has been awesome, super friendly (shout out to Candice, Ash, and Bobby). It is obvious they all take pride in their work and the facility. You should go check them out, yeah?

Thankful for the location being out of heavy traffic. I've only visited once, but I really liked it. The best part of all is that the hydro massage chairs don't have to be started by the staff! You can sit through two sessions back-to-back if you so choose. Also there is better equipment at this location, & seems to b more here than others. Highly recommend this gym.

I'm a big fan of red light therapy, but my recent experience has left me quite disgusted. The cleanliness of the room and the red light booth was disappointing. There were hairs scattered across the booth floor, the doors felt slimy, and the chair in the room had crumbs and more hair on it.

It was quite busy around 7 pm, making it challenging to find parking—I had to circle the lot a few times before a spot opened up.

When I inquired at the front counter about transferring my membership to my home gym, I received a somewhat dismissive response. I was told I had to go to my current gym to cancel, which turned out to be inaccurate information.

I truly love Planet Fitness and plan to return, but for a newly opened gym, I expected the team to be more proactive about routine cleaning throughout the day specifically in the PF Spa.

It’s a nice gym, I like how close it is and all the equipment. I have one problem and that it is that it is HOT in there. PLEASE turn down the air. The other Lexington Planet Fitness keeps theirs cold and I loved that about their location. I would give it 5 stars but it is just so hot in there.

I did mention it to a staff member but he kind of blew me off and just said thanks for telling me. It would have been better if he said he would let management know.

Planet Fitness Lexington West has been a great experience! It’s been easy to get in and get your workout done. Friendly and helpful staff! Different membership options at reasonable prices including a month to month membership and ability to bring a guest. The PF black card amenities are wonderful! I highly recommend this place! It’s good for the casual gym goer. They promised alot of new weights and machines , which I was under the impression they would have regular benches and maybe dumbbells that go over 75lbs, but that’s not the case. The machines are also scattered all over. Instead of having all the leg equipment in one area, I have to go searching for hamstrings, calves, etc. It’s the same as any other PF.
