The only people that does something is the manager and the trainer. The trainer be doing more then what his job description is and probably don’t get paid as much. There are people who want jobs my friend and I came in over the weekend The bathrooms were so stank they smelled like old bloody pads and dirty. How can a gas station like QT and Murphy be so clean with the amount of people coming through . It’s enough people to switch out to clean. There are people who need and want jobs. The younger crew are unprofessional some not all. They don’t dress up to part like they going to work. They on phones hoodies over their head like they just hanging out. Planet cut back on this fit black members but they giving away for money for people just to play. What we see the only people that should make above minimum wage is the trainer and manager if the crew making more . They need to reexamine their at base on what they do.

Okay so I’ve been coming to this planet fitness for almost a year and I’ve really enjoyed it and the equipment that this gym used to have. Now coming back today with the recent *new* equipment they got rid of a lot of the old equipment that made me continue to come to this gym. Now it’s just another generic planet fitness with barely any equipment to get an actual full workout. I will definitely be looking into other gyms now. I mean a lot of it could’ve been kept and the shear amount of cardio equipment could’ve been gotten rid of instead. This place lost its uniqueness and has become another cookie cutter PF. Such a shame

Little did she know u got too go inside building to cancel..okay my mom was 61 at the time. Years go by I become my mother's POA DUE TOO illness. It is no longer the cleanest and best maintained PF since they fired the last manager. Locker rooms are filthy and equipment is out of service more than ever. There is no excuse since there is more staff now, but they do absolutely nothing except stand behind the counter. Sometimes there are 5 of them there. I can only imagine how clean it would have been under the old manager with this level of staffing.

I always start out by saying that I travel for business, and go to planet fitness locations in over 20 states. Nice place to work out, but its locker room and showers are different than any other location. Here’s what I found very perplexing. They have 12 TV screens in the gym, and six of them were tuned into CNN. It was kind of like a Democrat propaganda outlet.🤣
But on a more serious note, the shower walls had a large amount of black mold. The management should seriously address this, as we all know it could become a health issue.

My experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The sign-up process, which took place just yesterday, was handled by two young employees who demonstrated a lack of customer service skills. They did not offer a tour, had little to no knowledge about the contract details, and were generally unhelpful.

This morning, I decided to cancel my membership — less than 24 hours after joining. To make matters worse, when I initially arrived, the staff had their backs turned, were wearing AirPods, and were eating at the front desk. We had to wait to be acknowledged and assisted, which was unacceptable. Overall, the lack of professionalism and attentiveness made this a regrettable experience.

Great southern hospitality! I’m visiting town for the weekend and when I arrived at my hotel this morning, no one was working at the lobby. I needed to kill a few hours until they opened. I called Planet Fitness and spoke to Myke, who hooked me up with a day pass and let me store my luggage at the front desk just this once. It made my day a whole lot easier to manage and way less stressful! And after I was done with my workout, he let me test out their massage beds. They also have tanning beds for their members to use, which has me considering signing up for a membership back in my hometown.

I’m looking forward to coming back to this gym for the rest of my stay here in Spartanburg, and would recommend it to all the locals!

Your men's locker room, the showers in particular are disgusting. 2 showers don't even have shower heads and the one that did was out of service. The floor is Flooded and stagnant. The walls have mold and mildew and you can smell how bad it is. This has been an on going issue for this location and these reviews reflect that you've been informed yet it's still just as bad. Don't tell me someone cleans in there regularly because they're wouldn't be mold and mildew if that were true. Don't ask me to reach out to a manager because I've read the reviews regarding the same issue and they've gotten the same response and the showers STILL look like a health hazard.

Used to go here all the time, but I just don’t anymore. Place is always dirty and packed. There’s “big ego” guys that walk around constantly wearing the most hateful clothing possible bashing people on said shirts. The place is supposed to be a judgement free zone yet myself and others have felt judged by people there and they don’t listen when you report guys acting suspicious towards women. It’s the fact that they say they’re a judgement free zone and have all these rules yet non of them get followed.

On my walk I stepped in as a female time of the month need araised. Ive had a membership and just hadnt renewed it again yet. The general manager stopped me and asked me what I was doing. I told him I just had a women's issue and needed to use the bathroom. He told me that I needed to get a membership. Are you serious?? There is no sign saying, "no public restroom." Being treated like that shows me they don't care about anything but money. Ill never renew my membership again. Sad.

Planet fitness has always been nice and convenient for me being a truck driver and traveling all over. But this planet fitness locker room and showers really need to be upgraded. Most planet fitnesses have a room across from the showers that way your clothes and things don't get all wet..The shower heads are up on the wall way too high making it where you have to look up the whole time so the top of my head won't get wet.. When the weather is bad you don't want your hair wet most of the time..
Also being black card I like the massage chairs I always look forward To getting my massage but BOTH of the chairs were out of order which is very strange...

This is my home this is where I beat Breast Cancer and learned how to exercise! The atmosphere is so amazing. The staff is so helpful! Getting exercise, I need to help with my physical issues.
Have an issue with them not billing my insurance for the membership fee. They want me to go up there and call them so they won't have to do it. It's called. I shouldn't have to do their job for them, so I canceled everything, and on Monday, I will notify my insurance company.

Passing through the state I stopped by for a quick workout, equipped well maintained but male locker rooms were bad!
1 out of two toilets were out of service, 2 out of 3 sinks were , one completely out and the other was hardily working. But the showers!!! Wow, looked like they haven’t been cleaned in months, showers curtains torn, walls with, I believe, had mold in the walls, some rust spots, talked to some regular members and said it has been like that for a while.

Their showers could use some tlc. And maybe a shower rack 🤔 nowhere to put my shower things besides the floor, which is a hassle since the stalls are already tiny. Maybe a little bench outside the shower curtains to place things we want to keep dry. And some new shower curtains and hooks so our showers are actually private. The gym itself is nice. I like the layout, for the most part. It has 2 free weight areas and some machines my local gym doesn't have, so for that alone, we will be back. I'll just shower at my other gym for now 😌

First time going and the girl at the desk was pretty helpful. She at least told me how to start on a stationary bike machine. I honestly thought I'd get a bit of a warmer welcome as I paid for the best membership. I wasn't offered anything.
