Went into this gym around 9:30 pm EST Wednesday night. Upon enter the receptionist was greeting people. When I walked in I noticed republicans campaign card for the next election taped on the contour and one taped hanging off the contour. When I approached to say something another gym membership came up and she began patting the republican election card. I didn’t approach, I just made a mental note. The receptionist is a Caucasian decent with blonde hair. I didn’t know planet fitness has a stake in the upcoming election campaign and I didn’t know PF supports republicans. I may have to reach out to a few people to notify them that PF stands with the Republican Party. This should not have happen and needs to be addressed. I know if I felt uncomfortable there were others. I will be calling the gym ask well but wanted to document this. If PF DOESN’T ADDRESS THIS I WILL BE DROPPING MY MEMBERSHIP!!!!

I absolutely love this place ❤️ if I could give it 10 out of five stars I would! I feel safe when I come here but not only that the crew members here are phenomenal!! I get a purposely Friday night through Sunday night and get here while Jonathan is here and work out and tan! He is definitely a people person in rated number one in my book! From Jonathan to Jordan to Trent and everyone in between they are absolutely one of a kind and I look forward to coming to working out! Keep up the great work planet fitness!

I started a membership with my friend today and I’ve experienced the worst person I’ve ever come across when it comes to customer service, I started the membership today and ended within the same hour because I was treated very poorly and I would love to continue to go this gym, but not if he is there, I am unsure of his name but the time I was there was around 8pm and I arrived at 7:13 08/08/25. I strongly recommend letting him because not only was I treated very nasty he proceeded to the same to two other young men and kicked us all out and Threatened them and me to cancel our memberships. Also no me and the other party I mentioned were together totally different situation for them and I feel so sorry for them as well! Not to forget he claimed he was the supervisor and his colleagues claimed he wasn’t!

Very nice and everything, but the service is very bad, there is a white guy with blue eyes that does not help me to get a card, I went with my friends to get an access card for them and the guy did not help me at all, I will continue going but the service is terrible, I went 3 times and not once did they help me to get a card for my friends

Had what quite possibly could have been a very bad moment. However one of the best staff members ever in any planet fitness I've ever been into Ariel specifically came over deescalated this situation the calmest coolest guy I've ever met in any PF. This guy deserves a Ray's and or a promotion. Good job planet fitness

Used a day pass. Got a tour, explanations about how all the machines, tanning beds, red light therapy, and massage chairs work. All the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Gym, locker room, and restrooms were clean. People didn't stare at anyone. Felt right at home, as if I have always been a member. Didn't get a chance to talk to the trainer because I went at night but they offer a free personal trainer as well. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I would like them to have an evening trainer available.

Been coming here for about 3 months. Very clean, staff is polite and helpful if you ask, equipment is in great condition. 3 stars is solely due to the fact that the 30 minute circuit area is not monitored nor enforced WHATSOEVER. I have even been in that area trying to complete the circuit, staff has come in to refill disinfectant etc, whilst others were there on their phones, and they simply do what they're obligated to and immediately leave to the next area. Not a word spoken to people sitting on their phones in the circuit area. My wife has asked if they could keep a closer eye on it, as we come 5 days a week, which they happily agreed to do. Still, every day there are multiple people hogging one machine for 10+ minutes at a time, people taking breaks on the machines while they play on their phones, teenagers hanging out etc. If they address this issue, 5 stars all day. There are plenty of machines in the lobby to do multiple sets of that's what you're there for. Folks like myself work late and get up early, so we crush out a 30 minute circuit. It would be amazing if we could do so without having to wait, skip a machine, or not complete a workout.

Clean, all the equipment works. Not usually too crowded. A few customers like to spend too much time on their phone while sitting on machines. They could add a second machine of certain types that are high demand, but usually not an issue.

I joined this gym about 3 weeks ago. It’s always clean, and the staff always speak when coming and going. I could have given this facility a 5 star, but I think the high school kids use this gym as a hang out spot. They come in and act like they are using the machines if you walk by. They sit on the equipment on their phones or holding up machines talking to their friends. I literally had to cut my 1hr workout short last night because they were holding up machines just talking and not working out. I enjoy coming here, but if you don’t get in before those high schoolers get out of school, you can forgot about getting a good workout in.

The BEST Planet Fitness! I literally live less than a mile from a Planet Fitness location and I drive 20 minutes to the W. Columbia PF. It is worth the drive/time. Much more modern equipment and the staff are professional, extremely helpful, and positive. Big props to the staff for making this gym exceptional!

Came in on Jan 6. Brand new facilities and very nice ins8de and new equipment. I enjoy working out there, however the staff is rude and only concerns themselves with hanging out behind the counter. No Judgement Zone #4Real. I was there last night and this woman was singing at her top of lungs. We looked at her and gave her 👍👍. Why? We get it! Planet Fitness gets it too. They make sure we know the vibe, feel the vibe, live the vibe and don't disturb the groove. I love that! If you don't have a membership at PF, you need to correct that like #RAIGHTNOW.

Kids in charge! JOKE OF A PLACE!

I have a 45 minute lunch. I’ve been in every week day for the past three weeks. I walk in for lunch today and they came and got me to take a picture. I used my app to sign in. I said I did not want to take a picture right now.. I Don’t have the time today.
So Junior, who just learned to shave, informs me that I have to do that or go back outside get my ID and prove who I am.
Not happening!

I really adore this place! Its location is so convenient for me in Columbia. I really appreciate that they are open 24/7. The employees are all extremely friendly and ready to assist with any inquiries you might have. The gym is spotlessly clean and the tanning beds are fantastic!

I visited this gym for the first time this morning and I was very impressed at the cleanliness of the gym and the updated/new equipment! The staff was very nice and smiling when greeting me! The ladies locker room was absolutely clean, fresh and well stocked! I was going to the gym in Lexington but after this morning this location will become the gym I visit the most!
