This place has gone downhill. The bathrooms have blood stains, gum and toilet paper all over the floor. Every time I come in , the little blonde girl at the desk is chasing the staff around or sitting at the desk on her phone or talking to other employees. I've been coming here for 5 years now and it's the worst I've seen it. Tanning beds have bulbs out, aren't cleaned properly and most of the staff don't seem to want to be there. The girl at night shift seems to be the only one wanting to do her job.

I joined Planet Fitness about a month ago. I absolutely love it. I don't know why I didn't do this years ago. It's got almost everything. And it's really affordable. Definitely recommend this place if you want to get in shape.

Men’s restrooms are rarely clean. Equipment is good, but now that Rock Hill has a bunch of new free weight options, going to be hard to compete. Staff is pretty friendly, besides the guy who wears the anti law enforcement apparel on night shift.

Everything about this PF is great, save for the inconvenient hours for many. It's barely designed to accommodate those working first shift jobs. Which limits the hours and days for people to do their routines.
The hours are more so designed for the elderly, save for 3 consecutive days of the week: Which happen to be the days when younger crowds are resting from work.

The staff at the York, SC Planet Fitness are amazing. They make it a point to know their members by name, know what their routine is and anticipate the needs the member may have. The personal trainer is awesome. During my recovery from surgery, he adjusted some of exercises in the classes I took to accommodate my physical limitations while maintaining the integrity of the workout. I highly recommend this location, where you're not just another paid membership - you are a valued member of a "family" working together to help you become the best you possible!!

Honestly, nobody can really compete with PF. They excel both in selection and quantity when it comes to equipment. It’s never really overcrowded and you have the ability to check the crowd meter before you even go. My only complaint is that waited so long to actually join.

Don’t join this gym. Management is more concerned about telling you to “lower your grunting” noises than actually taking care of its patrons. The parking lot directly in front of the door is a solid sheet of ICE as of today. Perhaps Management should have prepped their establishment for safe entry when they were closed half a day on Saturday, instead this gross negligence will likely cause an injury. Do better, Management.

I joined the gym for the first time in my life back in March. I was struggling every month to get my free month when a friend referred me. The employees kept making notes, but no one actually followed up with me to get the issue resolved. This went on for three straight months. Notes were being put in the system 3 times per week. Within that timeframe, Anthony went above and beyond to notice these notes, and make sure that he took care of my free month. Also, when I come in to the gym, I’m greeted with Laila who is very friendly and goes above and beyond every time I see her make sure that I have a great experience at the gym. She is very professional, always has a smile on her face, and goes the extra mile to make sure that all of my questions are answered and anything that I need is taken care of. Planet Fitness in York has an amazing trainer as well. Keno is very instinctive and does an amazing job making sure you know how to be on the right track so that you can be the healthiest and most in shape you can be. I actually live closer to Lake Wylie, but find this gym is a lot larger with friendly staff.

I love the fact that I can go in and don't feel like I am being stared at. It really is a no judgement zone. We are all there to better ourselves in some aspect. Whether it is to lose weight, to gain muscle, or to just be healthier. I was so nervous about joining the gym bc I was scared people would stare at me and I would be uncomfortable, but it is nothing like that at all.

PLANET FITNESS YORK SC...Toilets in the bathroom were dirty with blood on them. I let Elissa at the front desk know. And with a mean look on her face she said that's not her job that's the managers job. The male trainer Duane was going to clean it but a woman was in the shower. So I said I would clean them! And I did!!! Then I asked Alissa where to put the dirty rag and again WITH AN ATTITUDE she jumped down from sitting on the counter(like the only thing she does do) to walk me to where the rag goes. Elissa obviously thinks that people that pay memberships should have to deal with dirty bathrooms.

The staff at the York SC planet fitness are really friendly. The gym itself is the nicest planet fitness I have been too. The max weight on the machines are higher than most others and they are a lot newer. Doesn't get insanely busy and the crowd in general seems like just normal people who want to get fit, not a lot of meatheads. Really recommend it!

The equipment is always super clean and there are plenty of machines so very little waiting time if any.
