Best gym I’ve been to. Every machine you can imagine, and a very low price. I’ve lost 35 lbs, since joining. I didn’t even know i had that much to lose!!!

The music is some times too loud. I have to turn up the volume on the TV to drown out the background music. I have to ask them to turn it down at least a couple of times a week. I've talked to others and they have had to do the same. Loud music should not be used to motivate people to exercise.

Some friends and I went there after they reopened. It took an act of God to sign in for a day pass or to even get a day pass. We were interrogated about our residence in relation to the gym. I wanted to say to the lady that we could barely understand, we just want a quick workout and if we like the gym we will join (Hispanic lady).
We were just short of harassed the entire workout I assume because there were four of us and the lady wanted to bring in four new members.
If they are desperate enough to beg I don’t want to go there, and the renovations were cheaply done. Looks nice now but it will never last or hold up. I was also told they offered a military discount only to be told by the lady who should not be greeting people that Powerhouse does not give military discounts. That’s all I needed to hear. I didn’t want the discount but she told us that before it was ever brought up, I assume she could tell three of us are in the military.
Planet Fitness is a better and cheaper option and you are not harassed.

I love this gym, it is not just a place with fitness people, its a place where people can learn fitness and training without judgment and getting looked at funny. Great welcomes and guidance. Not to mention a supplement nutrition store on site with unbelievable variety, low prices, and the staff is on key.i feel great being a part of all that.

It’s nice to visit a gym where the equipment is up to date and the staff is friendly. Not to mention it’s clean.
Shawn at the front desk gave me a great tour and let me know I could get a one day pass. He also let me know about some of there new programs such as pulseology and personal training.
As a result I do plan on joining this gym.

I have been working out here for almost two months. With the amount of members it always amazes how the staff treats not only the members but the facility.
Machines are always clean and in great working order. This gym has the best atmosphere and it’s starts from the owners and staff. You are always greeted with a hello or warm welcom and as you leave you are always told to have a great day and hurry back.
They have great machines and an awesome selection of free weights. Powerhouse is a home from the beginner to bodybuilders. When a problem with equipment arises it is very quickly remedied.
By far the best around.

Great place, Recumbent bikes have TV issues. The connections outside the bikes need replaced, they have tried electrical tape to hold them together. They need to replace the cable connectors. Except for one bike and I am keeping that one a secret!!

Enjoy the greetings and input gym is always clean and Easy to navigate. But didn't realize the personal trainers were involved with their clients inside and outside of the gym unprofessionally. Was considering using one but credibility is lost. I'll just use the weights thanks

I absolutely love Powerhouse! The facility is top notch and the staff is always there with a great fitness tip or encouraging word. The staff is also very involved in the community, sponsoring and supporting fundraising events or spreading awareness about things that matter in our area. I recommend Powerhouse to anyone looking for a gym experience that is fun and inviting!

Love this gym! Has everything you could want in a gym. Great classes, plenty of cardio machines and many options for strength training. The gym is clean which is important to me. The best part is the staff and the members! Everyone is friendly and welcoming. It is not just a place to work out....it is family. 💪🏼💕

I very much dislike it. but is the only option that is close to my house. They don't have enough dumbells, plates, benches, kettle bells, bars... etc. everything is cramp. :(

The gym is small and cramped. They only have one squat rack and it is always in demand. Pretty much can not go there during busy time because everything is being used.

BE WARNED, DO NOT sign an agreement with this gym! You will get stabbed in the back. Never make agreements with Terry, the manager about ANYTHING, she is NOT a woman of her word & does not care! She will act like she cares in the beginning to get you to do whatever she wants you to do but don't be fooled, the truth is that she could care less! She is NOT professional at all and does not attempt to solve any problems. Oh and if she doesn't like what you're trying to tell her, she will hang up on you! Round of applause, worst gym in Bluffton.

Be careful! With what you sign. Read every page of the contract. Don't believe what tbey say, it won't be what they say, so happened to me! When I talk to the manager asking her to honor her word: I-was-on-my-own, she couldn't care less!!!
Now , they take every month my money and I don't use that gym since 8 months ago.

Management is poor. She never problem solves.. .just threatens to cancel your membership. Front desk staff and class insturctors get fired so often you don't know who is who. Constantly overcharging members and you have to get them to refund your dollars. Watch your bank account carefully. Touted as a "family gym" but no child care. Ask around??
