We are a semi- private personal training facility. We call ourselves a functional training gym that offers small group training and one on one personal training. We use the FMS system (Functional Movement Screen, (created by Gray Cook & Lee Burton*) for all initial assessments. This is a seven step screening process which is widely recognized as the best assessment tool in the industry. This gives us a snapshot of how competent the trainee is in their “functional movement patterns” that as humans we need to possess to have a healthy, (less injury prone) life. Once we find out how you rate on the screening system we will know the exact direction to go to give the client the most successful training experience.

John is focused, relatable and walks the walk when it comes to living a healthy lifestyle. As a Chiropractor I’ve used many fitness coaches and Jp is the best I’ve ever used! The workouts are creative and he keeps your body in a state “confusion” in that you never get used to the workout. Always something new and he keeps on top of the latest trends in order to provide the best coaching available. He helped me drop 20lbs so I’m forever grateful!

Been training with John for a year now and he is the best!! He always makes sure you are using proper form and tailors the workout to benefit you and avoid injury. After moving to Charleston, SC I wanted to find a new gym near my place in James Island. After suggestions from my friends I tried group classes at Premier Fitness. They seem to have the most knowledgeable, caring, considerate staff I have ever encountered! I also tried some one on one personal training as well! I highly recommend this gym to anyone new to the area or new to fitness – they will take great care of you!
