Our goal in creating Push Pull is to offer a space with the needs of seniors woven within every detail. As seniors, it’s vital to maintain our muscle strength in order to keep our independence. We are not like any other gym out there. This isn’t a concept about vanity. It’s a concept about quality of life! Started by seniors, made for seniors — join us at Push Pull for an easy step into a better workout!

My husband and I joined PUSH PULL LLC in Litter River, South Carolina, January 2, 2025 reason for joining; since retirement we both need some form of exercise. Me not liking to go to a gym, my husband more the work out person couldn’t find a gym he liked. The concept to Push Pull is designed specifically for seniors to achieve muscle tone and strength.

In 2024 my husband due to a year’s illness and 2 surgeries lost a lot of muscle mass, since he started his workout at Push Pull, his muscle tone is getting stronger every workout.

As for me, I had no muscle tone couldn’t left a heavy pot to transfer the food into a bowl needed the help of my husband to transfer the food from pot to bowl. I can now lift the heavy pot transfer the food to a bowl all by myself. I never could open a 16 oz water bottle; I can open it now! I never could lift a case of 40 16 oz water bottles into a shopping cart, I can now! Actually, I lifted 6 cases from shopping cart into the car. The one I am most proud of, our golfcart broke down in the middle of the street in our community, husband in driver’s seat me pushing golfcart a quarter mile home even up the driveway into garage. The workout my husband and I get going to Push Pull is incredible.

It takes approximately 45 minutes of your day to exercise the Push Pull system and the results are remarkable; my husband and I highly recommend Push Pull for a senior wanting to regain strength and muscle tone.

I have very happy with my push-pull experience, I have the usual maladies of a mid-eighties person, but the routine has been gentle enough not to produce undesirable side-effects, but challenging enough that I feel that I am actually making progress.

I have been going to Push Pull since June of 2024. The reason for going to this gym was it is designed specifically for senior citizens and the other reason was I had lost a lot of muscle mass due to auto immune system disease I have contracted. The results I have achieved going to Push Pull has been spectacular and I can highly recommend this gym to any senior who wants to regain their health.

Push Pull is an excellent way for a senior to exercise critical muscles in order to stay active as they age. At 75, when playing golf, I even gained a few yards with my driver after exercising at Push Pull for a couple months. The machines are set up for you and you can complete the exercise routine in about 45 minutes.
I think Push Pull is well worth the time.

For whatever reason, over the past 3 years I had become so lazy and unmotivated to include a muscle building-specific component into my regular daily exercise regimen. It wasn't until I received a diagnosis of osteoporosis that finally lit the fuse to find a solution to my resistance-training laziness.
Discovering and using the offerings at Push Pull gym has, without a doubt, provided me that valuable missing link and long overdue needed motivation and structure to resume including a strength-training, muscle-building portion.
Because of the owners', (Greg and Brenda), willingness and flexibility to schedule workout times to their clients' schedules, within the gym's functioning open hours and days, I am able to set up my workout program with consistency and regularity. And because of that pre-arranged set time/day, not only does it allow Greg to pre-set the workout machines, (designated for my use), based on my assessed ability and goal-oriented needs but also affords him a "built-in" flexible time frame to intermittently observe, advise and assist me with proper form, functioning and ability as needed. However, what is a really welcomed "biggy" for me is that Greg and Brenda take on the personal responsibility of keeping consistent records of my performance and progress after each and every workout in order to make the machine resistant adjustments, if and as needed, with each new workout session...a daunting burden and stress-provoker I happily and willingly relinquish from my plate!
The simplicity, cleanliness, airiness of the gym as well as the nostalgic low-volume "Baby-Boomer" ambient music conveys a welcoming, trusting and untimidating environment allowing me to keep focus solely on my routine.
The absence of noise-constant clanging traditional weight machines (PP uses only air-powered resistence equipment), of overwhelming full-wall mirrors, of unwelcomed numerous different TV monitors playing different shows simultaneously, of large-group boisterous personal conversations, of overbearing piped-in "muzac" and lastly, of extraneous macho throat noises bellowing from wannabee body-builders affords me the environ to remain on task, confident, uninhibited, calm and unintimidated during my workout.
And if that isn't sufficient enticement to continue, I also find with each successive workout I complete, I am able to consistently and seamlessly build on my previous progress, to become more aware of and correct, if necessary, my body posture and breathing nuances for better beneficial exercising results as I complete reps and sets.
To me, Greg and Brenda have thoughtfully, calculatingly and experientially developed an aging-appropriate, user-friendly and sequentially-based resistance-training routine/program that, without a doubt, speaks to my needs.

My husband and I recently retired and knew it was important to keep moving and stay strong so we can do all the things we want to do in this next chapter of life. I've never been athletic, and I liked the fact that this gym was easy on my joints because of prior injuries. My husband has always been active, and he likes the strength that he's gaining every week. Greg and Brenda are wonderful to work with, and the music is pretty good too 👍

I personally believe this format of exercise for seniors is the best I've ever seen. It's quick, simple and safe. With the guidance of Greg and Brenda, you will do the exercises available correctly and safely. Push n Pull incorporates strength training with some core training and cardio. This training is also suitable for people with minor disabilities. In closing, you can do this until unfortunately you cant move anymore, and hopefully this will prevent that.

This is a very good place for seniors to get out and get some exercise. My wife has serious balance problems and the machines work very well for her. It is the only exercise program I could get her interested in. The equipment has a broad range of adjustment so you can start easy and gradually improve your strength.

My dad called me one day very excited about this place called Push Pull that uses pounds of air pressure instead of traditional weights. He was so impressed he started going 3 days a week and LOVES it!
I couldn't imagine what he was describing and Greg sent me a video of my dad working out. I could not believe it. I came for a visit and went with him. The first thing I noticed is that when you open the door the smell of cleanliness hits you in the face. it is so clean. The owners are so knowledgeable and were eager to teach me about this innovative equipment and invited me to use it. I was blown away. you are not left alone to figure things out. Greg guides you through; and then you get a text later telling you how your workout went. You work upper body & get cardio at the same time. the bicycles are awesome too. I noticed my dad's muscle tone has improved since I last saw him and he loves to

I joined this Company on July 20, 2022. The best decision I made. I was weak and lazy and knew I had to do something. I can now lift things and motivated to do housework, yard work and things I have not been able to do. I go there Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
