Rock Hill Pilates is excited to bring private, reformer-based Pilates to the downtown Rock Hill, SC area.
Each private session will provide a one-on-one, customized flow to help you achieve your health and wellness goals. Whether you are a Pilates novice, recovering from injury, postpartum, an athlete, or anything in between, RHP has something for you.
Utilizing the Pilates reformer, EXO stability chair, and various props, each client will see increased core strength, flexibility, improved posture, and body awareness.
It is our mission to quite literally make you feel the best you ever have.

Rock Hill Pilates is my favorite place in Rock Hill! Candice is absolutely wonderful, the instructors seem authentically happy to be there, and the studio gives good family vibes. The classes are small, so the instructor has time to help you if you need modifications or adjustments. Don't let the size fool you, there are so many classes offered that you are guaranteed to get a session in. If that doesn't work out, Candice has semi-private and private sessons which are also amazing if you need a little extra help or rehab. Sessions are appropriate for all ages.
One of the best things about Rock Hill Pilates is that no class is the same AND about two days after a session, I can barely walk up my stairs or cough.
They offer a variety of monthly subscriptions and bulk class packs available make it suitable for commitment phobes.

I have been taking classes at Rock Hill Pilates for a few months now, and it has been great! The class sizes are small enough where the instructors can still give personal feedback during the classes, and every instructor I’ve taken classes with so far has been really knowledgable and offers different perspectives and exercises regarding Pilates. Everyone is friendly and there are a good variety of class options. I always prefer local, small business fitness studios when possible because they have a more personal and high-quality feel, and Rock Hill Pilates is no exception!

This review is well overdue as I have been attending Rock Hill Pilates since April 2024 and knew I would be enjoying it for some time to come from the first visit! I have tried a lot of different instructors and classes. They’re all great and different in their own ways (classes and instructors). Everyone is so warm and welcoming. I really appreciate the smaller class sizes. I love that the instructors all make a point to walk around and check out our form at different times throughout the sessions. I have been experiencing different issues between my back and upper hip over the last nine years or so from previous powerlifting. Attending Pilates provides me with some relief. I feel like Pilates forces me to get in all of the critical stretching exercises I’ve forgotten during the week after strength training five days. My core and balance have surely strengthened and improved! It’s like my active rest day, even though I feel like my butt has been kicked every time I come lol. So grateful to have found this place, it’s so close and convenient to my home.

I cannot say enough good things about Rock Hill Pilates! I did not really understand what Pilates was all about when I decided to take an intro class. I was hooked from the very first class and now have an unlimited membership. After two months of going consistently I can feel myself getting stronger and it feels great! Candice, Kate, and Genelle are the instructors that I have had. They are all kind, encouraging, and keep things fun! The whole atmosphere of Rock Hill Pilates is positive, not only from the instructors but also from other members. No matter what level you are everyone is friendly and not judging! I love the small class sizes and the instructors take the time to get to know you and what your goals are. I would recommend RHP to anyone no matter what your beginning fitness level is!

I have been attending Rock Hill Pilates since November 2022. I started out with private sessions and then when the studio expanded added small group classes. My overall strength, core strength, balance, and more importantly confidence in my balance have all improved immensely. My arms look the best they've looked in years. Pilates is great for anyone, whether getting back into exercise, regularly exercise, athletes, and it can be performed by all ages. I bring my college students in my exercise for special populations class to the studio each semester. The instructors and the owner, Candice, are all comprehensively certified which is important and are excellent at tailoring classes by levels and private sessions for each individual's needs. There are a variety of membership options to pay in class bundles (which make great gifts BTW) or subscription.

Absolutely love Rock Hill Pilates! As a small, independently owned Pilates studio, it has a personal feel that you just don’t get at a larger place. Candice (owner & instructor), Genelle, & Kate are all knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. With smaller numbers, each class can be tailored to those members’ needs whether you’re brand new or more experienced. I’ve noticed a big difference in my strength, flexibility, and overall well-being since starting pilates. Pilates has completely changed my life. I have been overweight my entire life and it seemed that nothing I did ever helped. I was horribly out of shape, obese, and lacked self confidence. Fast forward several years and I am no longer that person. I’ve dropped 60 pounds and 6 sizes, gained muscle, and found my inner bada$$. I’m not where I want to be yet but, Candice and Kate are helping me get there one class at a time. Because of the awesome instructors I’ve taken classes from and fitness family I found at Rock Hill Pilates, I am much happier and healthier in my 50s than any other time in my life. I can’t say enough great things about Rock Hill Pilates! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and supported. It’s a true local gem—not a big chain where you feel like just another number, but a community where the instructors genuinely care about you. Safety and proper form are always the top priority, which gives me so much peace of mind knowing I’m in good hands.
Kate and Janelle are absolutely amazing—they guide and challenge me in the best way, always making sure I’m moving correctly and getting the most out of each session. And Candice, the owner, pours so much passion into her classes and the studio as a whole. Every workout is intense but in the best way—I leave feeling strong, accomplished, and totally refreshed.
Beyond the workouts, what I love most is the atmosphere. It’s my escape, a space where I can get out of my own head and just focus on movement. I’ve been a member of Rock Hill Pilates since September 2023 and have experienced noticeable improvements in my strength, muscle tone, endurance, and flexibility since beginning Pilates. I have been taking pilates and barre classes at Rock Hill Pilates since May 2023. This was my first experience with pilates and barre, so I had a lot to learn. The small class size made me feel less intimidated and very well-guided. I am so proud of how far I have come and still enjoy it so much I find myself constantly recommending RHP to others. I have been attending classes at Rock Hill Pilates for over a year now and I can’t say enough wonderful things about this studio and the owner/instructor, Candice. She has created a boutique style studio that offers small class sizes which makes the classes inviting and fun. Lead instructor Kate is amazing. I have taken private & group classes where she’s provided personalized assistance to help me adapt to the classes based to my specific challenges from past injures. I have become stronger, more confident in my body and with the deficiencies my past injures cause me to live with. Rock Hill Pilates is the only place I have found to provide me this level of personalization. The other franchised Pilates studio in Rock Hill can’t even compare or offer the same type of experience. If you want variety of classes, times and the most amazing instructors I highly recommend Rock Hill Pilates.

Candice and Kate the absolute best! Whether your goals are to get stronger, get toned, have better balance, get your butt kicked in pilates or barre, this is the place for you! It is the only form of exercise that I don’t have to force myself to go to because I’m always looking forward to it. They make the classes so fun, while still being challenging. I have been taking classes with Candice & Kate for over 2 years and have noticed a HUGE difference in my body and especially my core strength, among many other improvements. This summer I have gotten the chance to cross train with Pilates for my collegiate swimming career. The enhanced strength, flexibility, and body awareness I have been able to gain from Rock Hill Pilates has significantly improved my stroke efficiency and overall endurance in the water.

I have been attending classes at RHP for a little over a year now and can’t imagine my life without them. I have never really enjoyed or stuck with an exercise program before, but everyone here, from the instructors to my classmates, makes it so much fun the classes fly by. I actually miss working out when I go on vacation or get sick and can’t go. I’ve also never felt so strong. A stranger recently told me that I look “lithe and athletic” and I couldn’t be more proud. I love the variety of classes offered, the small class size, and the range of class times which can work for anyone’s schedule. Basically, I just love everything about this place. If you’re looking for a small business and amazing community to support and join, Rock Hill Pilates is JUST THAT! Candice is one of the best pilates instructors that I’ve ever taken classes from. In the classes at RHP there are only 6 reformers which makes the class feel extremely personable where the instructors can help individualize classes and make sure everyone is not only getting a great workout in but also keeping form and safety a top priority. I love that there are different levels of classes depending on how advanced you may be. If you’ve wanted to try Pilates they offer a 30 min intro class where you will get a feel for the class and everything is explained so in depth! I have never been in better shape than I am when taking classes consistently and I have RHP to thank! I even drive 40 minutes just to take classes 😊🫶🏻

The owner, Candice, has a specific vision to be the most warm, welcoming, inclusive, instructive, and unique Pilates studio, and you can feel it the moment you walk in. Each instructor lets their own personality shine while delivering high quality classes: since each class has a 6-person max (YES! The small boutique atmosphere was important to me as I did not want to attend large, cliquey classes that I found at other studios. You can take Pilates almost any where these days but if you want to have fun, be challenged, and taught by caring professionals in a cheerful environment, take classes at RHP! Recover from knee surgery by modifying the exercises for me while I was not 100%. Classes are cheerful and they start and end exactly on time. A good place to work out for some one who is 65+ years old. Don’t be afraid to try it! Fun and effective.

I tried a couple of different studios after moving here, but they weren’t the right fit for me. I can’t say enough great things about Rock Hill Pilates! After having two kids I found myself in a rut and feeling really depressed and unmotivated. I decided I wanted to be the best version of myself I could be for myself and my girls, but my insecurities to the side and tried out RHP. I was hooked from day 1 and have been going consistently for the last year. It’s a small, local business and the instructors are amazing. There’s 6 reformers so classes are intimate. Besides the fact I am more confident in a bathing suit now after two kids than I was in my 20s, what really keeps me coming back are the people. Everyone is so supportive of one another and our individual goals and you’ll hear us say “ xyz your arms are looking good girl” or “xyz you got this!” At least once or twice during class. I wouldn’t trade it for anything!

What a great place to build strength, flexibility, and endurance! I started coming in my 2nd trimester last summer and was able to take class up until 37.5 weeks! I recovered fairly quickly after giving birth due to the consistent work in classes. As a dance professor this is a go to for working smaller muscle groups and articulating the whole body.

Rock Hill Pilates has quickly become my happy place! After moving to Rock Hill, I tried many different gyms and studios. Rock Hill Pilates was the one where I instantly felt at home.
The classes are small and there is a great sense of community. The instructors are all amazing - everyone has their own style and all of them ensure you have a good time while working hard.
What I love most about Rock Hill Pilates is that you can just be yourself! Everyone is there to become a better version of themselves. There are many different types of classes and each class has a variety of modifications. I always feel challenged but never overwhelmed.
Being completely new to Pilates I was not sure if it was the right workout for me. Having taken classes regularly for 3 months now, I can’t imagine my life without Pilates anymore.

If you’re looking to start or continue Pilates, this studio is where you need to be. I’ve only been going to RHP for about 5 months and have already noticed so much more muscle definition than I ever did weightlifting. More importantly, I just feel good and move better than before.
All of the members are so fun and welcoming, and the instructors are top-tier and are just great people to be around. Each instructor has their own style (and playlist) but are all so amazing and helpful. I love the feedback I get on my form with such small classes and knowing what muscles I’m supposed to be working each movement. The instructors really invest in you and the sense of community is unmatched.
I hesitated to book my intro class, but am so glad I finally did and wish I’d done so sooner! The variety of class offerings and membership options make RHP a perfect fit for anyone.

I absolutely adore this little studio! There are so many class types to choose from for a variety of skill levels and time flies during the workouts. There are only a handful of reformer machines so you get the personal attention of a private trainer with the fun vibe of a class environment - truly the best of all worlds. I drive by 3 other big Pilates franchises to get here and wouldn’t go anywhere else but Rock Hill Pilates!

The instructors truly know what they are doing and are able to curate challenging and fun classes. Two months ago I decided to take an introductory class at Rock Hill Pilates. Having been away from group fitness classes for 6 years after a car accident, I was nervous about whether I’d be fit enough to do Pilates. I now wish I had joined as soon as Candice opened her studio! In two months I have taken group and private classes and been welcomed by the instructors as well as other clients. Every class feels like working out with friends. Candice, Genelle, and Kate each have their own style of instructing, but all three prioritize safety and proper form. The playlists are always perfect and time flies by. I drive to the studio from a neighboring town and spend as much time traveling to class as I do actually working out and it is worth every minute of traffic. I am more flexible, less stiff, have better range of motion, increased strength and confidence, and am generally happier since starting classes. I initially planned on attending 1-2 classes per week and am now an unlimited member attending 4 classes per week. I’d probably increase that to 5 if I lived closer. Candice continues to add new classes that are so tempting! My mom told me this morning that she can hear the excitement in my voice when I discuss RHP with her! I am so grateful to Candice and her team for running such an awesome place to be a part of.

Like almost every middle aged person, I considered what is the best path to improve my overall strength and conditioning. My wife started taking classes at Rock Hill Pilates on recommendation from a friend. She was over the moon pleased with the instruction and results she achieved in a short time, taking 3 classes per week.
I had done yoga for several years, but never achieved the strength and conditioning I desired. Having taken ballet as a PE class in college during the early 80s, I was eager to try RPH. These young women are challenging me physically and they are ensuring my form is correct.
The results speak for themselves. I often take a ski trip out west in February. This year was the first year I wasn’t absolutely gassed and worn out the first day on the mountain and this was in Telluride, where the altitude takes its toll on most who visit. Because of the work RHP has put me through, I am in the best physical condition of my middle-aged life. Much gratitude goes to Candice, Kate, Genelle, Aubrey, and Julianna for the amazing instruction, support and making classes fun!

I also attend the group classes with instructors Kate, Julianna, and Genelle. This is one amazing team of highly skilled instructors. Each one makes every class a fun work out with variety. The members of this studio are so welcoming and provide such a close sense of community. Highly recommend any of these instructors. This is by far the best Pilates studio!

I don’t know where to start…The instructors here are so good. Kate is so kind and patient. Julianna explains the movements so beautifully making sure your body and mind connect. You can always count on Genelle to bring great energy, if you’re having a bad day you won’t after a class with her. Aubrey is such gem and encouraging. Candice who is the owner, who will definitely push you(in a good way lol) and have you surprised at just how much your body can actually do ! Oh and you can guarantee she’ll have a great playlist for class. To make a long story longer lol It’s been 3 months and no matter which class I take, I know it’ll be a good class. The instructors are so knowledgeable, making sure safety comes first, the best of the best! You won’t regret giving this studio a try!

I started pilates with Candice in 2023. Over the past year she has encouraged and pushed me to be stronger and stronger each session I have with her. My pilates work on the mat, the reformer, and the darn exo box has helped me lose 3 pant sizes and accomplish awesome yoga pose goals because of the intense ab and core work. 5 Stars for Rock Hill Pilates!!

I have been taking the Mat Pilates classes exclusively for several months now and it amazes me how much of a workout Candice can generate using just our body weight. This class immediately brought me back to my Marine Corps boot camp experience working me to the point of exhaustion every Sunday morning and I absolutely love it! My wife Traci takes a lot of the reformer classes and she became addicted over a year ago. We are both thankful for Rock Hill Pilates and Candice and my only wish would be for more mat classes that I could take to continue my fitness regime.

I started pilates very hesitantly as a new, but older student, but have been delighted with the classes, instructors, and results!
The classes are small enough that I get the 1:1 attention and corrections that I need. There are always alternatives and progressions offered depending on skill /comfort level.
Everyone here is extremely helpful.

I have had the BEST time working with Candice in private sessions. I have been in chronic abdominal pain for over 20 years due to severe endometriosis and Ehlers-Danilo’s syndrome. Back in January of this year, I had a surgery to finally free me from that daily pain but my body was in rough shape after that long period of being limited by pain. My physical therapist recommended reformer pilates to me and I have been doing private sessions here for about 3 months. Candice goes above and beyond for me in every session. She even did extra research into my diagnoses so she could make sure she was giving me the absolutely best moves for my body. I can already tell a huge improvement in my strength and stamina. She has me successfully executing moves I never DREAMED I’d be strong enough to do! I HIGHLY recommend taking an intro class with her if you are interested in this at all. I promise, once you do, you’ll never want to stop! I don’t even look at the clock when I’m in there- I have fun from the very beginning to end and always am a little sad when it’s over!

I recently had the pleasure of attending classes at RHP. What drew me in was the boutique-style classes and the fact that it is locally owned! And I must say, it has been a one of a kind experience! I now have a monthly membership and count the days down till my next class, not kidding.
One of the standout aspects of RHP is the exceptional instructors. They possess a deep understanding of Pilates and are incredibly skilled at providing progression points to keep us challenged throughout the class. Their ability to tailor the exercises to individual needs and skill levels is truly commendable. I always leave the class feeling accomplished and motivated to push myself further.
Furthermore, the variety of classes offered is impressive! Whether you're a beginner or an experienced practitioner, there is something for literally everyone.

I absolutely love this studio. Have been doing Pilates for over 4 years and this is the only place where I can get my butt kicked. Candice offers progressions in each exercise so that everyone can be challenged. The studio is clean and roomy. She also has awesome apparel for sale. The instructors are not only professional, they also truly care about their clients and it’s like one big family. I live 40 mins away and it is well worth the drive.

I've been attending classes at this studio for a little over a month now. Classes have been easy and hard enough to keep me coming back. I don't dread it, but also get enough out of each class. I've been struggling with motivation after my most recent baby, but am finding myself excited to come to class. I've even noticed that I'm even less emotionally reactive to stress now too. I do love that the class size is maxed out at 6 and was concerned that I would have a hard time finding classes to fit my schedule, but have never had an issue with booking. Candice is always quick to help and answer questions and each of the instructors are passionate about what they do. This studio is quickly becoming my community and helping bring me out of my shell more.

As someone who had an interest in Pilates from taking reformer classes here and there in the past, but wasn't quick enough, athletic enough, or coordinated enough to keep up with a larger group class at a chain in Fort Mill- finding Candice at Rock Hill Pilates was a game changer. It's an expense that is absolutely worth it to me every week. Being one on one makes me feel so much more comfortable and she is quick to adjust if something isn't feeling right for me or looking right to her trained eye. The workout flows nicely and is enjoyable while still being challenging and I always feel my hard work for several days after! I can't wait to see how the studio will be expanding and I'll be going right along on the journey!
