Called just to get rates & whoever is at the front desk/answering phones is very rude & unprofessional. First answering the phone talking to someone else in the background before even greeting me, I literally had to ask her “ how are you? “ . Then I asked for a quote regarding a private lesson or open gym, and she’s asking me “ how much am I willing to pay” what???? why are you acting like yall are the only gym in Spartanburg. Thanks but no thanks, I’ll find someone else to give my money to!

My son enjoyed class once a week for a few months, but we had some issues. Our main reason for not returning was not having a seat most of the time and how HOT it got with the temp barely over 70 this spring. My son left unable to move and totally red faced several nights. Parking during class change was terrible also, found myself having to park in a field behind the place most times then having to move my car after others left. They have great instructors, but teaching young wild boys is tough! And I noticed sometimes the teacher acted like she really didn’t want to be teaching boys even though she tried to keep their attention. I did also notice the owner jumped all over my son our last night there, which was my last straw. Way too overstimulating environment for an adhd kid!! He couldnt focus at ALL. If they had more room it would be a lot more comfortable and enjoyable.

Cons: very little parking during class change, few seats available / jam packed into the room, gets very hot spring summer

Highly disappointed with my daughter’s birthday party. The woman was rude to the children and their parents. I was told I’d be accommodated for their opening however the instructor for the Children’s games would say one thing and the woman there who “accommodated” me would yelling something different. Telling 6 year old children not to spill anything because there is a new carpet is completely unprofessional and there’s no point of advertising birthday parties when in all reality you’re going to completely ruin the experience for the children. I’d planned to enroll my daughter at this gym after the party however I had parents drive from North Carolina just to be embarrassed by the way the woman spoke to the parents and children. I’d also been to a party prior for a friend with multiple tables to accommodate a large group my children were told to eat on the floor and not spill anything due to a new carpet. Children rudely told not to make a mess then watched the entire time they ate to make sure children weren’t being children. Horrible experience I wouldn’t recommend this gym to anyone. If you insult children and speak down on them in front of their parents i can only imagine how the girls are treated privately. Never again I will turn everyone that asks away from this gym. Zero stars.

Two lessons in with a small child and I'm NOT impressed! This place is entirely too hot. SC is beyond heated and this place has one slightly oversized window a/c unit. Beyond ridiculous especially with all the people sitting pack in like sardines on the side and in the lobby. Nasty. I'll be glad when the parent of this lil one finds a better place for this huge amount of money.

This place was like home to me for many years of my childhood, and I won many competitions with Tina as my coach. I recently moved back to the area and have enrolled my two daughters. We have been coming for about a month, and the girls absolutely love it. The coaches are attentive and a great mix of caring and firm. My girls are getting much stronger and progressing nicely.
Whether your child just wants to have fun or is more serious about gymnastics this is a great place to be!

My daughter has been at Spartanburg Gymnastics for almost 7 years now. It has become our second home/family. We absolutely adore the coaches. The gym is such a big part of our lives and we wouldn’t want to go anywhere else.

My daughter started gymnastics when she was 18 months old. We went to two other gyms before going to Spartanburg at age 3 . We have been with Spartanburg Gymnastics for the last 5 years 4 of those years on the competitive teams . I can say that at Spartanburg gymnastics the coaches love and care about my child and making her not only a better gymnast but a better person . That is and should be the kind of gym we all are looking for .

Love this place! I bring both my kids ages 2 and 4. They really enjoy it. They offer a “ninja” class on Wednesday’s from 4-4:50 which is a great way for the kids to get their energy out. Lots of jumping around and climbing. Also overall gymnastics classes and staff is great! Always a great experience! Highly recommended!
