The classes are great! Especially love the Booty, Core and More taught by Valerie, the Yoga classes by Alisa and Mary, Fit 45 and Pilates by Mary. I'm looking forward to trying more classes. There's something for everyone!

I love swimming here myself and I love the swim lessons for my 4 year old. I never have to fight for a lane which is huge. And Ms. Amy is an amazing swim instructor! We did Charleston swim in the past and my daughter never made good progress. But with Amy she went from not wanting to get her face wet to swimming a few seconds under water totally on her own! We’re so grateful!

People are pleasant to work with here, but the facility is showing its age. Equipment and interior spaces are very tired looking. There is enough here to get what you need done however. One benefit is that you can get discounts on swim lessons for children with a membership.

I got a family membership for my family of 5 under $100 very reasonably priced. Full gym, Olympic Pool, Raquetball courts - great value. Plus tons of free exercise classes. I love the Yoga classes, great teachers. Fantastic place.

It's okaaay-ish. Truly baffled by the comments calling this place clean and nice. I guess some ppl have rock bottom standards. I grew up in this facility and frankly it's the exact same facility as when i was a kid 30 years ago. Feels incredibly outdated and feels like there has been zero reinvestment over the years as evrything is slowly overtaken by rust and age. Could be a facility to be proud of, but falls way short of potential.

Weight area has fared better than the pool and looks like the only part where any money has been spent. Equipment is up to date, clean, and a good workout environment. Absolutely ZERO phone signal inside, though, so download your playlist if like me you need tunes.

Staff is amazing. They are helpful and friendly and one of the high points of the facility. Overall, if you live close or need a pool, it works. Otherwise, there are better options.

The staff are polite and accommodating, But what will cause this place to go out of business is the elderly clientele. I've never seen such a large group of angry elderly people willing to yell at strangers on multiple occasions over the slightest thing. Screaming at children for being in their way, to screaming at adults for not shutting a door entirely.

Very happy with this place. They always make sure there are lanes available in the pool for lap swimming even when groups have reserved several of the lanes. Nice weight equipment and free weights. Racquetball courts, indoor track, and fitness classes. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Great gym!

There could NOT be a better facility for a family or individual. The pool is top notch and is a salt-based pool. All the classes are great and fits anyone needs. The trainers are wonderful but a special shout-out to my and my son's trainer Thomas ( my personal favorite). Give them a try you will not be disappointed.

Very professional and knowledgeable staff. The Zumba instructor, I forgot her name, but I was in the class on Thursday 22, 2023, was so energetic and well choreographed that I found myself moving body parts I had used in years. I definitely will be utilizing this gym on a regular basis.

Best bang for the buck in a very well rounded exercise environment with a good mix of typical gym equipment, pool, racketball, basketball, spin, dance/aerobic and a ton of classes. There is a real family aspect to Family Fitness and something for 8 to 80.
I would give it. 4.5 star if that was possible. The pool area could use a sparkle wash

Amazing gym!!!! We need more like this!!!!THIS is what a gym should be!!!! The nostalgia, the feel, the layout!! love they way the entire gym is set up!!! I absolutely L💛VE this Place! I wish there was more room for free swim. W/ the people who have a regular membership outside of the lessons that at. Andrews charges for they decided to bring people/children to do lessons here. It kind of hinders my children and others to swim. It restricts to a very small odd portion of pool mid center very small. Otherwise Staff is amazing . Always a smile. I have yet yo use anything other than pool area . I L💛VE that we can take full showers and do it all after using the pool. I L💛VE that the water it stays hot . 4 of us and it doesn’t get cold . Loving it 😍

Mixed feelings about this place.
Pros:
Salt water pool.
This is one of the only pools like this around (and the size)
Most of the staff is friendly. Lifeguards are watching the pool not their phones.
We are taking swimming lessons and love our instructor.
Cons: the pool is pretty cold
The family rooms near the pool aren’t used by families, but by everyone. If you are there with kids you might have to stand there waiting for an adult to come out.
The facility itself needs DEEP CLEANING. Seriously this place could be so much nicer. The bathrooms are so dirty my children even notice and don’t like changing in the rooms.
I don’t think they ever clean the bathrooms.

Management (I emailed 3 managers) doesn't respond to any emails to address concerns. Childcare staff is rude, you can tell they hate their job. Some of the general staff is actually helpful and nice. I enjoy the group classes and instructors. Can't wait for my membership contract to end and find a facility that better suits my family.

They have an indoor saltwater pool(smells like chlorine) that I like. However the hot water in the shower never lasts longer than a minute and the mold in the showers and the dirty carpet in the bathroom is gross. Really gross.And just an F.Y.I. if you sign up a child for the summer program, you will have to unenroll them IN WRITING or they'll continue to charge you for each child and will not reimburse you. I enrolled two children for the summer only. Even giving them the exact dates. For some reason they continued to charge me for one child but not the other. They refused to reimburse me because I had not put it in writing that they were unenrolling, even though I had given them dates in writing when I signed them up. They had no problem with the one child so why continue charging me for the other? The lady explained this happens all the time but there's nothing they can do about the money. It's a scam.

I swim here. The pool is nice. The staff is friendly. I like all the people here, and want to support the place. However, there are numerous things that I believe should be done here. I'm a physical therapist, and I hear from countless people that they would go there if the up-keep was better .
Some simple suggestions, in random order:
-fix the faucets in men's locker room so that adequate water comes out
-turn down the heat in the pool area. It is already humid enough in there, and not only do all the lap swimmers complain about it, but also even parents and kids sitting on the sides, as well as even the lifeguards complain about the air/climate in there.
-put up some hanger hooks and/or shelves for clothing in the rest rooms alongside the pool. Only one of the rest rooms has a shelf in it, and so everyone wants to use that one.
-clean the dry sauna in men's locker room better.
-turn down the heat in the men's locker room. Every single guy I know there says this.
-a larger investment to better the place would be putting more windows (ideally glass ceiling) in the pool area, so that it isn't so dank and dark in there.
