About the Club

Stay Strong Fitness is a team of dedicated health professionals that helps the busy citizens of Beaufort and surrounding communities, transform their lives physically and mentally. Specializing in body fat reduction, lean muscle gain, and strength training to promote longevity and functionality.
Stay Strong Fitness has a full time staff of health professionals and operates out of two beautiful state of the art training facilities on the premises.

A 5,000 square foot facility located at 37 Sam’s Point Road houses weight training equipment, cardiovascular units, and a full length turf.

39 Sams Point Road is a 3,000 square foot training facility where fitness assessments take place. Lockers, sauna and showers are available for members.

Sam “the owner” is a wonderful guy & the friendship with everyone there feels more like a family. Sam has been my personal trainer for over 4 1/2 months now & I have seen major results. When we first started he asked what my goals were & I have definitely surpassed them by a long shot. He gives me all the great insider advice about what to eat & not to eat. We’re on a specific intense diet together currently this weekend to drop weight. I have not felt more in shape & proud to show off my body this summer. I love it! I love the coaches. Finding stay strong was something I needed. I truly enjoyed the different personalities in coaches.
If you’re looking to improve in heath and fitness but don’t know how to start, I would recommend coming here. I would also recommend coming here if you’re already in great shape but need someone to push you!

They were extremely welcoming, they made me a plan and were very informative and for the first time in my entire life I was seeing MAJOR changes and results that I was never able to achieve before. They made fitness fun and gave me a better understanding of nutrition. I cannot say enough great things about my experience with Karen. From day one, she went above and beyond to tailor everything to my specific needs.

Every exercise was personalized, and she was always ready to adjust if something didn’t work for me. One thing I truly appreciated was her dedication to helping me improve my eating habits. This place has changed my life honestly! I saw an advertisement on Facebook for this Stay Strong Fitness and then I signed up for a 6 week challenge. I was coming in with “I’m going to do this 6 weeks and it would help me get a better life”. But after the 6 weeks I wanted to stay because I loved it. I love the help I get from my nutrition and workouts. I had meal plans to begin with before I started here but they helped me with my nutrition as well. These people are amazing and will always be there for you. You can get in contact with them and they track your progress the whole way! I am a physical train wreck. As my prescribed OT/PT was running out, I asked around how to continue my rehab journey and got several recommendations to check out Stay Strong Fitness. My initial call was taken by Coach Jason who was a great ambassador for the center and encouraged me to meet with the owner - Coach Sam. My initial meeting was impressive as Sam and I walked through my physical situation, my goals, and what he had to offer. My first session was even more impressive as Sam patiently assessed what my capabilities and limitations really were and began developing a routine specifically for me which he is personally coaching. Early sessions are already producing more flexibility in frozen joints and strength in age-weakened muscles. I am 78 and every day different joints complain differently. Sam is careful to watch me closely each session to ensure he does not push me into that “bad pain” place. After each session, I’m exhausted but it is a good and familiar feeling. The staff I’ve met so far are engaging and knowledgeable. It should also be noted that Sam is very involved in the local community in a variety of ways. I cannot say enough good about my experience and highly recommend Stay Strong Fitness to anyone, young or old, fit or not so fit.

This is an awesome fitness center. Small group classes are different everyday blending strength training and cardio. You will be challenged. If you are looking to get in shape this is the place. If you are looking to stay in shape, this is the place. If you are overweight like I am this is the place. They will get you on an effective meal plan and you will lose weight with motivational exercise. This place and the coaches will do more for you than any other gym, but you have to put in the effort. Best fitness facility I have ever joined! I recently moved to Beaufort and was in need of a really great gym. I’ve done the commercial gyms and even CrossFit, but I was looking for something that could get me back on track since I haven’t been consistent in a few years. I wanted something more personalized and tailored to me. I did a little research and found this place. I joined about five months ago. I lost over 20 lbs in roughly 90 days. The workout classes are challenging (which is what I was looking for), they help you with nutrition, review your goals and most importantly… hold you accountable for your success (Love the accountability app). The staff is world class! Jared, Jeff and Sam have been the best!! I can keep going but wanted to at least share the highlights. I just highly recommend you come see for yourself! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I came in very skeptical about a full body transformation that they advertise. I've never had any luck with diets or workouts on my own, what is the difference? Good question, the difference is a very knowledgeable staff, years of proven training and having a group that knows your name when you walk in and are happy you are there.
Gyms have always made me uncomfortable, people watching me workout. Jeff is my trainer, along with a group of 6-8 3 times a week, he watches everything you do, coaches everyone through their own particular workouts. He reads how your body is reacting and makes subtle changes if needed.
If you want proof, come talk to me, I've been with them just over a month, I'm down 17.5lbs overall! I've lost 21lbs of FAT and gained 4lbs of muscle. I follow Sam's intermittent fasting plan he had set up for me, obviously they all know what they are doing!
If you are that overweight, over stressed, thinking about giving up dad or mom, don't give up, I urge you to reach out. These people can help you if you want to help yourself.
I was that 40 year old, overweight, low self esteemed, father of 2 toddler, shadow of my formal self. Now I am confident in a program that clearly works, I am becoming my self again, my job notices, my wife notices, my kids notice my transformation and are excited to have the old me coming back. My energy level is significantly higher so I can play with my children more after a long day at work. I can't thank the Stay Strong Fitness team enough, not just a body transformation but an overall experience that has exceeded all expectations.

Joining Stay Strong has been one of the best decisions I have made for myself in a long time. The entire team Sam, Jared, Jeff, and Andrew are highly skilled and motivating while having their own unique style. Having had multiple injuries over the years, I was reluctant to strength train again and stuck with cardio. Joining this gym was one of the better decisions I have made. As I’ve gotten busier with life I needed an efficient but effective workout that would cater to exactly what I needed. Honestly I was skeptical at first with it being a small group and having to conform to the “cookie cutter” workout for the day. However, the trainers are able to give you a personalized experience based on your consultation feedback and your progression. There is no way I could work out this well in 45 mins without their guidance.
It fascinates me how the trainers, without hesitation, know everyone’s name, their motivations and capabilities and modifies the workouts for the individual.
It’s hard to pick out an individual trainer for recognition because they all do their research and and all do an amazing job.

The best thing I could have done in my life right now was to join Stay Strong Fitness The support from the program and this staff is amazing it sets you up for success from the beginning assessment with Sam to the support emails from Andrew. He guides you through everything you need for success. I have lost 4% of body fat and gained muscle on my 4th week. I look forward to my Personal Group training sessions with Jared! He is an awesome pro coach. It's very intimidating at 58 to want to join a gym but Stay Strong Fitness is so different everybody is so supportive and they want you to succeed. The trainers guide you through workouts (that can be easily tailored to your fitness level) and make adjustments as you progress. Andrew helps with nutrition and always has suggestions for realistic and tasty food substitutions. There truly is no judgement - you share a gym with people who have similar goals and trainers that WANT to see you achieve your goals. And possibly the most important thing: we have fun. This gym is a very unique experience. You have a coach there the entire time to guide you and alter any workouts to accommodate for injuries you might have. Classes are never larger than 8 people and the workouts are designed for a full body burn. Seriously the best decision I have made for both my physical and mental well-being. I love the small groups and the trainers who push me to new limits but in a safe way. I trust them and feel so much better than I did a year ago! Stay Strong Fitness is the place I rely on to keep me healthy and functional and strong for years to come! There is a culture of respect, professionalism, and friendship between the trainers that makes for a super positive experience in every session.
