I found SLAM when I moved to Columbia in January (14 weeks pregnant) and was able to workout throughout my entire pregnancy and was taught proper form and modifications during each trimester. My baby girl was born two days ago and I only pushed for 2 minutes and my recovery has been amazing so far- I truly owe it all to SLAM keeping me going and strong this whole time! I cannot wait to get back to exercising with the amazing women, community &friends once I’m cleared!

I’ve been with SLAM for just over a year and have loved it. Cammy creates challenging workouts with a lot of variety. We have themed workouts every now and then, my favorite being our Disney day :) There are periodic special challenges for prizes like the burpee challenge of ‘21 that got pretty intense and the mural mileage challenge that was just a lot of great fun! It’s fun to see our kiddos grow with each other and learn how to navigate these friendships from an early age since they’re together so much of the time. 10/10 recommend SLAM Columbia!

I cannot recommend SLAM enough! I was worried that my daughter would not tolerate staying in her stroller during our workout, but after a few days she started enjoying watching us mommas work it and interacting with the other children and now she doesn't fuss at all. Cammy is wonderfully encouraging, fun and gives constructive feedback to each person when needed. I look forward to *almost* every workout and leave each day feeling like I've done my body a huge favor. And it is a boost to the soul to be surrounded by such great people exercising with me! My one complaint is that I didn't find SLAM sooner. :) You should check it out!

S.L.A.M. was just what I needed to get me up and going in the mornings and start my day with a good, challenging workout! Cammy is an awesome coach! She is quick to encourage you when you are doing well, and she is also quick to help you if you are struggling with a particular exercise or position. S.L.A.M. helps you strengthen all areas of your body, and Cammy can help you modify exercises as necessary if needed (like during pregnancy, and also with smaller things like if you are having situational knee or back pain with some of the exercises). It is empowering and wonderful to come workout with mothers and friends going through the same season of life. Highly recommend! Come join us!

I finally joined SLAM after I had my 3rd baby, after seeing and hearing about it through friends. I love the structured workouts and the variety of workouts that it offers. The community of moms and their little ones is what has kept us coming back 3 years later!

S.L.A.M. is the best workout I have found! It’s made even better by the wonderful group of women who do it with you! Everyone is very supportive of each other, and it’s a great way to meet other moms in the area. The instructor, Cammy, is hilarious and brings her whole heart to each class. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fitness routine and community!

When we moved to the area I was looking for a new workout group. I already loved running but finding SLAM has really helped me improve my fitness in other ways especially strength training! Which is super important but I have always slacked on. Cammy is great at modifying workouts for all fitness levels and encouraging you to meet new goals. This group has really helped me and my kids make friends and given us a great way to start our days on the right foot. If you want to get in shape and make some great mom friends you need to try SLAM!
