I started taking my little one here since she was old enough to start. I was so excited for the reopening and the new staff and ownership are amazing! You can tell they have a genuine love for what they are doing and get excited with you as the little ones learn new skills. They are also incredibly understanding and patient with my 2 yr old when she needs a little extra encouragement or is feeling overwhelmed. I only have positive things to say.

We recently had the pleasure of hosting my daughter's 6th birthday party at The Little Gym of Summerville, and I can’t say enough good things about our experience. My daughter is special needs (level 2 autistic and ADHD), so it was extremely important for us to find a place that could accommodate her and her classmates, who also have varying special needs. The Little Gym exceeded every expectation.

From the start, booking the party online was seamless, and the communication with the staff was fantastic. Every question I had was answered quickly, and I really appreciated the reminder emails and detailed party information, which made life as a busy mom so much easier. They even sent a waiver for party guests to sign ahead of time, which made the check-in process smooth and quick.

When we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles, and the party space was already set up and clean, complete with a beautiful birthday message for my daughter. It was such a thoughtful touch! The staff quickly checked in our guests, wasting no time and allowing the kids to jump straight into the fun.

The accommodations they made for our guests were amazing. They kept the music volume low for our auditory-sensitive children, and the instructors were absolutely wonderful. They were so attentive and supportive to every child, helping them through activities and offering clear, easy-to-follow instructions. What I loved the most was how relaxed the environment was. The instructors weren’t strict about the activities, which gave the kids the freedom to play and enjoy themselves without stress.

We are looking forward to many more birthdays at The Little Gym of Summerville!

This location is not temporary closed. It is permanently closed due to a neighboring fire. As a result memberships were canceled but it has been next to impossible to be refunded for services paid for. It is ridiculous how businesses don't do the right thing when it's not in their favor. If anyone has any suggestions please respond.

Had the worst experience with this particular location. Due to personnel problems back in April, Monday classes got canceled. Unfortunately, that was the only day I was able to take my grandchild. Hence, I was trying to cancel my membership. Left several messages. Twice, I was actually able to reach someone, but both times that person wasn't able to help me canceling my membership. I was promised a call back which never happened. Then this location had to close because of a fire next door. Needless to say, though I left messages again, no one returned my calls and/or took any action towards canceling my membership. As a last resort, I disputed the charge via my credit card company. At first they ruled in my favor, but then Unleashed Brand claimed that I didn't adhere to the cancelation policy, so the charge was put back onto my account.

Things have been downhill the past two months. Classes canceled without notification, sure they give us make up classes but they haven't even been open on the days we've tried to go to other classes, and haven't returned any phone calls over the past 2 weeks. We've been trying to cancel, but you can't even cancel online, and again no one is answering phone calls, or calling us back.

It was good for what it was the past two years, but this is just terrible, and I need them to call us back ASAP, and stop charging us.

Follow up after many attempts to call my husband finally got someone who said they'd cancel for us. Well they didn't and now we are back to calling again + demanding a refund.

Do not go here at all cost!! They have canceled classes the last 2 months and the building is closed. They have however collected two months of fees from all of the family’s and now the owner or no staff members can be reached by email or phone. We want our money back but can’t reach anyone to get it!!

This place was fun for years, but recently it has been a revolving door on staff and last week, they didn't show up for our Monday class and when I finally got someone on the phone the next day (no one called me back from my several messages until several days later), they said they thought they called to tell everyone. They didn't call or email me and my 2 girls were some of the very few kids left in the class so it should not have been difficult to contact us! They offered make-up classes which I didn't want since we are done with this place, but didn't offer me a refund even though I was literally standing outside the locked door with my 2 kids during what should have been our class time (class that I paid for). I was told several times the director would call me back and he never did. This is a sad end for us to a place my kids enjoyed for years. It honestly has been getting worse, but I tried to hang in there for a while because my kids were still attached to the place. I wish we had left sooner. I hate to leave a bad review, but I would honestly strongly recommend parents go elsewhere.

BLUF: one-time visit for a 45-minute class @$20; kiddo is 19mo. Great environment, but price charged for time spent didn't equal out for us.
Pros: friendly staff (front desk & instructor). Great energy drain for kids. Clean waiting area, play area, & bathrooms. Everything in the play area was accessible for kids to engage in activities w/o assistance. Group & solo activities.
Cons: $20 for 45-minutes was definitely an impulse purchase, and I can't see us doing it again. Memberships are offered, but $85/mo for 1 class a week seems steep, in my opinion. You have to fill out a separate form (that wasn't available at the time) to opt out from staff posting photos of your kid to public social media.

Clean facility, friendly staff. But the instructors don't seem into it at all. It's a good place for a kids to get energy out and have fun but I feel like they're not necessarily learning gymnastics like they could be. I've never seen the instructors do a "hey not like that, let me help you" kinda of thing. They seem kind but do not have the personalities to work with kids or out in any effort to actually teach them anything.

Great environment don’t get me wrong nice clean building with great equipment with a big see through window to watch your children and awesome staff , with that being said heres where my issue comes in play , I signed my daughter up for a beginners dance class but the only thing that they did in class was okay games with the children and play tag . This is a good facility if you just want your child to get some energy out , not if you want them to actually learn and dance .

The staff is amazing -- Ms. Jess is an attentive, fun, and engaging instructor. Jess makes sure each class is fun and instructional. Ms. Courtney at the front desk is helpful and kind. They are both so great with kids! The facility is clean and well taken care of. All good things! Highly recommend.

I took my child her for a class in hopes they would enjoy it and be able to run around and meet some other kids. I was so impressed with our entire experience here. Not only was the facility extremely clean, but the class was great! The teacher followed a really cool program, but she was also patient and kind. We left in such a good mood, my child smiled the whole way home! Aweosme place!

"I love absolutely everything about The Little Gym! The staff is amazing, the are so patient with all the girls in my daughters dance/gymnastics class. Not only do they teach them to dance and do gymnastics but they also teach them to share, help with toy pick up at home, learn their colors and so much more! I am so grateful that I found the little gym for my 3 year old it is one of the best things I done for her. The prices are also very affordable and they are very good at allowing makeup days if your child is sick so you aren't just losing the money and class they missed! I would highly recommend any parent to enroll their child into one of the little gym's programs!"

My daughter has been with the little gym in summerville for almost 4 years.....she looks forward to class every week.....we consider the staff like family and the go above and beyond to make every child feel special and including......the best part is the camps.....they offer 3 hr camps during summer and winter break......my daughter LOVES going and i love the freedom to get christmas shopping or errand done while knowing she is safe.....they have crafts and also feed them lunch......WE LOVE THE LITTLE GYM!!!!!!!!!

My Granddaughter used to go into the school year but we were in Walterboro and the little gym was in Summerville so we just stopped because of times whent up. Now we are enrolling again I would definitely recommend a little gym is an absolute best place and you will not regret buying it for your your child

We heard about The Little Gym through some friends. My husband is a stay at home dad with out 13 month old son. I saw TLG as something for my boys to get excited about every week, and an excuse for them to get out of the house. But it turned into so much more than that! Not only are all the staff friendly, they were extremely accommodating to our schedule. I was blow away when I went to his first class. My son is in the Birds class (crawlers, toddlers, walkers), and I was so impressed how each lesson applied to each stage of life. In the 5 months my son has been going he has gained so much more than social skills, but actual strength and confidence, fine motor skills along with sign language and music association. Both my husband and son look forward to TLG each week and I couldn't imagine where he might be without this class. Do whatever you can to allow your child to learn and grow from this gym! You wont regret it!

I highly recommend The Little Gym to anyone with little ones looking for great, active, and FUN classes with motivating, patient and FUN teachers. We've been there for over a year and each class just seems to get better and better. My girls are in the Funny Bugs class now and it's been so neat to watch each milestone. We love The Little Gym so much we're doing our birthday party there again!! It was such a wonderful experience last year. They decorated/set-up, kept things moving smoothly, and were very personal with all the kids at the party and gave lots of attention to the birthday girls. And lets not forget they do the clean up! Every mom's dream:) Even my grandmother mentioned how great Miss Courtney was with all the kids at the party and sharing her time with them.
All the teachers are very professional, sweet and love children and I love them for making my girls smile every Friday and looking forward to another fun party next month.

We are so happy that we have found The Little Gym-Summerville. My kids feel right at home, they ask me everyday if it's time to go to gymnastics. This weekend my daughters attended a Dora the Explorer-themed birthday party at The Little Gym of Summerville and they had an absolute BLAST! There were many activities for the girls to enjoy as they participated in their very own Dora adventure with Backpack, Swiper and Map, interspersed with open playtime in the gym...all the kids had a really good time! The instructors were friendly, engaging, upbeat and very attentive (which is why my 4.5 year old is already enrolled...my girls love Miss Renee!). We've been to several birthday parties at The Little Gym, but the Dora the Explorer party was the best one yet!! If you're looking for a cool place to host your child's birthday party, you should definitely check out The Little Gym of Summverille!

We are VERY HAPPY with our decision to enroll at The Little Gym of Summerville. The facility is very clean (super important when dealing with babies/toddlers) and the instructors are positive and encouraging. My son and I have both developed friendships with other participants as well. I have only been a member for a few months but I already see a difference in my baby. He has more endurance when trying to accomplish milestones and does not give up as easily when a task is tougher than normal. We LOVE The Little Gym of Summerville!

This is an incredible gym and was an amazing learning experience for my daughter. I enrolled her in a 3 year old class and then a 4-5 year old class the next semester. We would have liked to continue but we moved away. The instructors are all upbeat and caring. They really know how to talk to children to keep them engaged and having fun. They have set the bar extremely high with their level of professionalism and quality. I continue to be disappointed with other classes my daughter is enrolled in because I always think: "This isn't as good as Little Gym was." I would highly recommend this location of the Little Gym to any parent.
