I enjoy the energy from others strength training, keeping me motivated, without judgement. I have 3 training session a week with open gym on Saturday. I have completely transformed my body in the almost 2 years training with Cam. With changes in diet (250g protein a day) and consistently training, I have lost 100 lbs and gained over 50 in lean muscle mass. I can not recommend The Strength Club more.

Personal training is too expensive. Group (circuit) training doesn't actually get you individualized attention. Strength Club's team training is the answer. Best strength training protocol I've found.

Love this place! Visited South Carolina and needed a place to train. Was able to contact the owner prior to going just to ask a couple questions. He answered everything I needed and they offered day passes. The gym has everything you need! Great friendly environment.

Seniors(Citizens, that is) You've heard all the advice for people like us to strengthen our muscles and increasing our bone mass, but you are wondering if you are too old now to do that. Well, you're not! I (70+) have been working with Cam for several years now and he has gently and easily helped me up the road of self improvement. I feel so much stronger and confident. Cam works to find the best plans to help you feel improving. He knows how tho analyze the skills and strengths of each individual person and works your plan around what he sees. Some times the weight increases can be as little as 1 1/2 pounds and sometimes we need to stop back for a bit but you will definitely see an improvement. It’s not easy but Cam has many ways to help you be successful I trust him and recommend you give him a chance to help you.

This is my first Google review of anything. (I’m a 65 yo curmudgeon). My family and I recently vacationed in Charleston and I wanted to avoid detraining. I have an excellent SSC that I train with when I am home so while on vacation I looked up Cox Barbell and Coach Cam squeezed me in for a couple of sessions. It was a first rate training experience in every respect. If you don’t already have a coach, I highly recommend Cam. Oh…and try his BBQ sauce too!

I have been working with Cameron for roughly 3 years now. For the first 2 years we made awesome gains (starting from literally 0) and I was amazed how much weight I could lift. When I got pregnant with my first child, we continued to work together through my pregnancy and I remained strong right up until giving birth. He made modifications to suit my changing pregnant body and ensure I was safe. now, pregnant with my second child , and now working with him online exclusively, my work schedule is busier than ever and I can only get in one workout per week. Though I know he wishes I could spend more time in the gym, he has come up with a program for me that is helping me make some slow progress even with only one or two lifts weekly. I really appreciate his willingness to bend with my needs and stay encouraging, even when schedules change and things aren’t ideal! In summation, Great coach, go for it.

I had always been weary of using the gym or a trainer outside of my normal fitness routine, just trying to stay in shape. Last week, I dead-lifted a minivan off of a neighborhood kid. Without Cameron's training, that kid would still be pinned under that axle. I've been working with Cameron for over a year. What else do you need to know? I'm in my mid-40s. When I started, I couldn't even get under the bar to do squats because I was old and weak and inflexible. Now I’m older and stronger and more flexible.

Cameron is the best! When I met him, I had barely lifted any weights in my entire life. The whole gym experience was rather intimidating to me and out of my comfort zone. But Cameron sets you right at ease. He has a great personality and a ton of knowledge. My first session, I could barely even get into a squat stretch position without fatigue, and I think I squatted 25 pounds my first day. In a short while, I increased my strength dramatically, and he got me hooked. After having 4 kids and turning 40, I can say I've never been stronger in my life. Most importantly, he is fun to be around and makes the training a lot of fun. I couldn't give the experience a bigger thumbs up!

I came to Cameron as a beginner and could barely even squat, dead lift, or do a simple bench press. After a couple of months I have become proficient in my form and gained significant strength. You can tell the difference when people like what they compared when people love what they do. Cameron loves his job and it’s very apparent through his dedication in working with others. As a trainer/strength coach, I am very picky about who I take advice from. So much of the fitness industry today is filled with nonsense and people trying to reinvent the wheel. Everyone is so concerned with what the workout of the day is and blaming their lack of results on genetics or some other BS excuse.

Cam has helped me execute a very well designed program over the last 8 months, during which time I put over 150lbs on my squat, 60lbs on my deadlift, 30lbs on my overhead press, and 70lbs on my bench. His no BS approach has done wonders for me and changed how I think about and implement programming with my own clients. Do yourself a favor and stop wasting time in the gym. If you aren’t being guided by a good coach, you might as well be laying on the couch instead.

Also, if you like good music and clean, top of the line equipment, this is the gym for you.
