I used to go down the road to Crunch, but this is closer for me and since it’s under new management, I decided to check it out. Parking is just steps away from the door, and I can promise you’ve never seen a cleaner gym! New manager is awesome, very engaged and there to help. Employees are very friendly and kind as well! It’s truly a hidden “gem”!!

I’ve been a member of this gym since before Covid. I’ll have to say that for about the last five years it has left a lot to be desired because the former owners were bad gym people!

Since our new owner Lynn Strong has been in charge it has done a complete transformation. We now have a great environment and I look forward to what the future holds for our fitness community.

I love the gym!

But couldn't get in early this Sunday morning. The keycard and keycard reader was working but the door was not working.

I recommend setting up the equipment in the parking lot and rename the gym:

I was a member in years past, left due to many reasons. Returned to check out the gym once I saw new owners really are working hard to get this gym moving in a good direction I joined back. Lynn has done a wonderful job since purchasing the gym back in May of 2025. There has been a major change in how the staff takes care of us and Lynn has been adding equipment and repairing things that the old owners let go and chose not to repair. I am very excited to see how this continues to get better in the future, 10 stars!

Very nice gym.

Customer service has gone south. The front desk person informed me that he could not let me or other members back in the gym if we forgot anything outside and left our access card inside. It would be nice if you had allowed a reply so I will edit this. Interesting reply, claim and speediness. Nobody seemed interested in such speediness when I called in. Also, interesting that you have such clarity on what was said since you where not there. The staff member said just to let you know I will not be able to let you in, in the future if you forget things. I even clarified that even if my gym card was inside and he was there. He informed me he would not let me back in. It was not a reminder as stated below.

Been going here for a year and it needs more weightlifting equipment instead of the cardio machines nobody uses in the back. Also most of the equipment is about to fall apart or they aren’t tighten, the bench is off balance and most of the bolts have corroded with rust. I only go here cause it’s close to me

Update: 08-03-23. Since I last wrote, they got rid of the "too friendly" manager. Rodney and his staff do a great job, I just wish those breaking all the mirrors would stop and be held accountable. We'll gi back to 4 stars.
Well....originally I had rated this 4 stars because of cleanliness and friendly staff. It's still clean, but seems one of the staff is a little too friendly. The manager braggs about the married women he's "dating" ( dating is my word; his is a little more vulgar ). And seems that if you're in his little "circle", you can work out for free. So, changing my rating.

This gym has your basics to get started, but expect to wait for weight training machines as there is only one of each type. I wish this location had access to trainers, classes and workout plans. Plenty of potential in terms of space, but needs work based on my experience at other Workout Anytime locations.

This gym has such a weird set up and is really busy, making it hard to get a good work out in - especially if you're new to the space.
Also, when I went to cancel my membership I spoke with a worker there who told me the date I needed to cancel my membership to avoid getting charged. I followed his instructions and still got charged, and I even tried to get a refund but it didn't work.
Overall, I didn't like going there. The vibe was not great, people hogged the machines, and the workers were not super helpful.
It's also not height friendly - some machines I simply could not use as a vertically challenged adult. They also put the spray bottles on top of the paper towel dispensers which made it really hard for me to reach.
Thankfully, the cheapest membership is only $19, so you're getting what you pay for.

Very rarely there is staff there. But when there is they will interrupt your workout to make sure you have your key card. Even if there is literally no one else in the building. I was told my wife and I could come in no problem when I first signed up. Then today I was asked to pay $10 or leave.

There are PLENTY of gyms in the greater Greenville area. Even if this one was free I wouldn't attend it anymore. Ultimately, I am cancelling my membership because the staff today was disrespectful.

Looks can be deceiving. Nice looking place but way too much cardio equipment and not enough weights. basically only 1 of each strength equipment and no more. Not even an extra squat rack or bench press. Was always waiting on equipment.
Also, if you cancel you have to pay for an extra month unless you cancel a month early. And if your yearly rate guarantee fee is due in the next month then you get charged for that as well. This is in the contract but not well spelled out and definitely not verbally disclosed.

WAY too small with WAY too many members with more treadmills than all weightlifting equipment combined. Packed out from 6am to 10pm every day of the week, can't even get a set in without some dude wanting the machine you're on. The facility is crowded. The sanitation of the machines are left to members, which is a pre-Covid practice that they have done nothing to improve on. After a month of trail, I decided to cancel my membership, and found that it cannot be done in person or over the phone! Apparently, your membership number is different from your
agreement number, and I was given a third party website to cancel my membership. This website requires you to create an account, which I did. I consider myself fairly tech savvy, and after about 10 minutes of looking around the site, I decided to save my time, and stopped automatic charges from my bank account instead for subsequent months of membership.Needless to say, I am very disappointed with their service.

Edit: I was corrected on how long I waited. So I'm updating this. I came in to get membership info. I wandered around for 5 minutes and never found an employee. The PC at the front desk was left unlocked with somebody's account and picture up. I could have sat down and browsed customers if I wanted. I called the main number 609-4500 on the sign (I confirmed the website number and the number on my phone history) 10 times and it rang to a cell phone that has a full mailbox. Someone obviously had the desk phone forwarded to a cell phone. That's unacceptable for a business. So there your correction from 10 to 5 minutes. And personal info left open on a PC at the desk? Still a poor first impression.

This location of Workout 24/7 is pretty nice. Barbell exercises, such as squat and deadlift are allowed here. The gym includes a nice filtered water cooler and a spacious locker room. This isn't my home gym, but a location I visit when I'm in Greenville. The one complaint I have about this location is the smell of the lockers. I might expect the smell of public lockers to be a bit less than fresh, but the smell of the lockers at this location are really strong and reminiscent of the smell of sewage treatment facility. I can smell the smell on anything I put in the locker for days afterward.

The equipment is nice and it has a fair amount of space, but there isn't really good spot to put down a mat and do abs or yoga/stretching. Also, it's a bit of a bro-fest during the busy times. There is often one or more groups of guys hanging on equipment, chatting, showing off, and generally being in the way of others trying to workout. If you can go during the less busy times, it is way better. The membership fees are cheap, but I find myself avoiding it after work because I just don't feel comfortable there. I'll probably switch to a different gym at the end of the month.

Extremely poor customer service. Called 2 months ago to cancel. Left 2 voicemails. After they finally answered I thought I was done. Then a month later I start getting calls to update my credit card. Very nice especially for being so small. My sister is a huge fitness enthusiast and last time she visited we toured all the gyms in Greenville. Workout Anytime is the best bang for your buck. I'd i had more money maybe I'd be at Gold's but this is perfect for what I need. It's never busy, the staff are very friendly, and it's open 24/7. Also pretty good variety of equipment and in tip top shape. I'm very pleased and won't be switching gyms soon.
