Never could cancel my membership because no one would ever make there self available for such things so I had to cancel my card after multiple times calling to cancel they continue to rack up a bill on you and then several years later as I am dealing with now a random collections by this company. Tried cancelling my membership 4 months ago. I was told that it had to be cancelled at the local branch in Summerville. I went to that location only to be told that no one was ever at the front desk . (Owner just quit running location) Stopped by multiple times and called and was never able to reach anyone. How do you cancel when no one works at the location and no one will call you back? I cancelled my card with ABC Fitness(billing company) but still receiving notices that balance is growing due to lack of payment and will be sent to collections. Crazy when you cant contact anyone to cancel!

First time here today and I loved it. Everyone is so friendly and the machines were great! I just wish they had a pull over machine, but I can hit every workout here I need.

I wish I had found this place sooner because I heard they might be closing soon. If they do stay open I'll definitely be getting a membership here. I absolutely love it!

Give one star to get attention from owner or whoever. I need a available contact info, so I can speak to someone. I have been using this gym over a year. Great gym especially accommodating my time and schedule everyday! However, I need to cancel my membership. I show up and also called during the staff business hour, there is no one answering or physically in the gym. Can you please provide a way to contact that actually works?

It never nobody in the front to either speak to or let you in because of a situation. Overall the gym environment is cool and the cleanliness is ok but they just need better customer service when it comes to your problems exceptionally on the weekends if your new to the gym!

Not sure what is going on here I took the summer off now I’m back at the gym. No clean towels, cleaning bottles empty. NO ONE is cleaning a machine. I’m paying to Tan but no one has even seen a staff member. Ladies bathroom is dirty and the toilet paper was just sitting on the trash can. Is this location under new ownership? It was so good just a couple months ago. Ok now today tanning beds locked. AND. NO AIR. I dont Mean the air isn’t set correctly… I mean it is turned off. Not flow at all

This used to be a good gym but the management destroyed the place. Machines are falling apart, bathrooms and cleaning supplies are never filled and the manger himself is completely absent from his responsibilities, you cannot even contact him because he’ll simply ignore you. He has no problem taking money only with maintaining the gym. Do not waste your time or money here.

Signed up for a membership that I never activated. When I called to cancel it before my 30 day trial period was up. I was informed I wasn’t in the system due to the fact that I never finished the activation process. I was told not to worry I shouldn’t be charged. Fast forward I was and have been charged continuously to the point I had to get a new debit card. I tried calling multiple times and getting the same ‘you’re not in our system response try calling our corporate office’. Called corporate several times and have many emails, with corporate telling me only the location I got my membership with could cancel. They not only continued to charge me but sent me to collections. Needless to say I am incredibly disappointed with the gym's unethical practice of continuing to charge me after I cancelled my membership. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this issue, the charges persist. It's frustrating and unfair to be billed for a service I never even activated, let alone used. Would not recommend due to their poor customer service and billing practices. Next step is to hire a lawyer it seems.

This gym is so poorly maintained it is pathetic. At least half of the tread mills have broken controls and have been that way for several months now. People go in and sit at the machines on their phones and no one says a word. The massage bed has been out of order for a couple of weeks. I tried to cancel my membership, but no one has been in the office for several days, no one answers the phone on the door and do not call back of after leaving a couple of messages.

Been here since October 2022 and it’s by far one of the best gyms I’ve been to. Staff is fantastic! Jackson is very attentive, polite and always keeps the place really clean. He’s very personable and it’s inspiring to have someone as motivating and energetic as him working here! I could easily go to the bigger gyms with every machine and weight imaginable but the reason I remain a member here is for the positive environment this staff brings to this place. 6/5 thanks to Jackson and staff, you guys rock!👍🏻

Not even worth the $20 a month, which is cheap so low expectations to begin with. Equipment dirty and out of the 5 ellipticals only one is smooth working. Often no towels and empty spray bottles to clean equipment. 24/7 but door unlock very unreliable. Unfriendly staff.

Only giving 4 stars because I wish they had some more football on when I was there. Was in town for a few days and used a trial and it is a very nice little gym. Staff is very friendly. The place is very poorly managed though. It's always dirty, restrooms aren't stocked, toilet paper dispenser is broken, clocks are an hr behind from 6 months ago. It could be a nice gym but you can tell the franchise owner doesn't bother going inside their gym. I'm actually suprised corporate hasn't fined them for how poorly it's run. Could be an awesome gym.

I asked to freeze my month to month membership for two months while I am away from town/country, and the staff told me that they don't do that anymore for 'whatever reason". I tried contacting the management via email regarding this but they never replied. The equipment looks old and not maintained regularly, and the building could use better housekeeping.

If you're from out of town, make sure you bring your key card since the busted card reader is inside and won't scan from the app because of the refection on the glass. Its great having a membership that I can use at any location except this one.

We were in town for 10 days and wanted a pass, had a little trouble initially getting a hold of them but talked to John at the front desk and got it all handled. Liked the equipment, not over crowded and had good disinfectant spray/towels. Could use some sweat towels but only because we weren't local. Good mixture of aerobic and weights and machines. Would come back if/when in town.

I am giving a 1 star because this place will still charge you even after canceling the subscription and I’m not talking about canceling before the monthly payment is due I paid my monthly and right after paying for the month I decided to cancel the subscription and as months go by and me not attending that gym ever since they send me a letter that states that I owe an additional 135.50$ For an unknown reason.

Update: they fixed the issue after a very lengthy amount of time, so I did upgrade the stars a bit in my review. I do enjoy the gym in general, so I am back to the gym after returning to Summerville permanently. The staff really are super friendly, so I hope things have changed for the better. Although, It was definitely very frustrating that I had to create a new account that costs almost triple what I paid when the gym first opened ($10) just because I ended up having to open a new account due to the gym’s mistake below.

I have been a member of this gym for a few years now, and while it was great at first, it eventually caused so much confusion for me...For a while, I was freezing my account as I was living away for college, then I would open it again during the long holidays. Although, I later had a longer period of time that I lived away from Summerville, yet they reactivated my account without permission and did not notify me of these “late” dues. The credit companies started coming after me, so when I consulted the gym, they would just endlessly leave notes for the manager that would NEVER get pushed forward. They clearly told me that the reactivation was accidental on their part, but the issue took absolutely forever to be sorted out since they would not contact the credit company. The employees are very nice, but there seemed to be a huge lack of communication when they were transitioning between the upper staff. I used to absolutely love the gym, so I cannot believe how long this is taking to sort out.

Honestly I value this gym for just having free weights and 24hr access. You can't complain really it's a reasonable price and you get to squat bench deadlift and dumbbell anything. Space is limited yeah but it's just enough just don't go during peak time or get a home gym.

It’s a very nice and clean facility, working out to improve my self to help lift my terminal daughter is why I continue to push my self. The staff is so pleasant with the exception of one individual to which no names but she could be more a little more pleasant to the people who come there to work out, all the other staff is just amazing, very helpful and a few high 5s from one of the trainers that work there. The gym is very clean, they even provide us with cleaning supplies at each piece of equipment. It’s very welcoming , I’m a hard one to find my happy place aka the gym but this is my happy place. Everything from free weights to machines and tanning beds also the hydro bed is a plus. Yes there may be an up front cost when joining but SOOOOO WORTH IT!!!! Workout anytime is conveniently located, clean and the staff is always helpful - never have had any issues. They also have great personal trainers there that offer affordable services to help keep you consistent in working towards your fitness goals. The personal trainers are always friendly and there to answer any questions. I have been training with Will for over a year now and have honestly never looked or felt better about myself. He's amazing!

I have been an “active” member of this gym for over 3 years. The gym is always clean and the staff is friendly. I love the convenience of this gym (24/7). I am self-motivated so for me, it’s not essential to attend a daily routine class. I have worked out since my youth and this gym has several fundamental gym equipment.

I would love to see a barbell hack squat and a lying hamstring curl, but there is really no space for it. Overall, it a nice gym!

I have been a member here for over 3 years. I visited every gym in Summerville and Ladson. This is the cleanest, has plenty of machines and weights, and keeps everything well maintained. They have several ACE certified trainers who are conscientious and knowledgeable. The only caution: Bring hearing protection or music with you. This gym pipes in nasty music (too much pseudo-rap and bubblegum). The prices are very competitive. There is ample free parking. Your membership gets you a barcode keychain tab which gives you 24/7 access. Bring your own hydration. They do have a water fountain and a drink machine, but save money by bringing your own. The locker rooms and showers are spotless. They have 1 hydrotherapy (a massage bed room) and two tanning rooms. There are not a lot of kettlebells but there are plenty of free weights, benches, and machines (both cardio and resistance).

I have seen some bad reviews on this place so I thought I’d wait to leave a review until I had been a member for a couple of months and honestly, I don’t see what there is to complain about. Sure, it is a small”er” gym compared to others, but who cares? I’m not looking to take up residence here, only to work out. Far from the “closet” I’ve seen it compared to. If they were to purchase a larger space, the cost may have to be reflected on your monthly payment so, think of it that way. I have met and talked on the phone with the manager as well as a couple staff members and they have all been extremely courteous, helpful and professional. I have also tried nearly every piece of equipment here and it is all top notch. Everything is very well maintained and extremely clean. I have/had zero issues with anything I have tried and all of it looks brand new. None of the machines or free weights cut off at 75lbs like SOME places. The showers and locker rooms are always immaculate. I don’t believe I have ever even seen a piece of paper out of place here or a fuzzy on the floor. Personally, I am proud to call this My Gym!

This gym is trash to say the least. If your looking for mediocre equipment and you like working out in the space the size of a closet then this may be the place for you. All you ever see in here is old people that just sit around on the machines and talk nonstop while your waiting to actually get in a workout. I’ve been in numerous times to cancel my membership and talked to the owner specifically each time and I’ve still being getting charged for months after I cancelled my membership and have been promised refund after refund and still haven’t received anything after going in there now 4 times so frustrating the owner is a flake to say the least... guy shouldn’t be owning a business if this is the way they handle business which also give you a bad reputation in case you didn’t know.

I’ve been a member on and off due to moving around and I have not had a poor experience here ever. The gym is always clean and the staff is friendly and always around to help with any of your needs. The owner cares about his customers and has a relationship with people on a personal level. There are plenty of free weights cardio machines, and cable machines to work around even on the busiest of hours. Glad to be apart of the workout anytime family.

Met with owner today and the main trainer. (Wonderful people) The facility is very clean with wash bottle and wipe rag at every station.
While your working on your cardios, there are multiple big screen tv's.
The universal weights are excellent! Every station has a color chart showing how to use and highlights what area of your body you'll be working on.
Free weights are a plenty as well.
There are shower stalls and lockers.
If you ride your bike to this gym, they have a place inside for it.
I do recommend a visit and see for yourself! 😊

I've been a member of another WA 24/7 and I was a little disappointed in this one. The staff was not very welcoming and kinda just stared at you. Yhe floor was a little dirty and needed to be vacuumed. The atmosphere was really nice and a pleasant place to workout. For the price an convenience they are still tops in my book.
