Very poorly set up and run down. No air conditioning or heat. Asbestos coming down from the ceiling which easily causes cancer, needles in the parking lot, people peeing in the tanning bed trash cans, and one time someone dropped a while baggy substance at the front of the front desk. Not a clean place. Also, once had a family living in one the business rooms. Go elsewhere.

Basketball court could almost be used as a skating rink , no grip at ALL. Basketball goals are crooked and the other is bent down. How the X Gym has so many great reviews is astonishing. Almost as if these people get paid to leave reviews. The African American lady in the front desk is rude beyond belief. Disgustingly rude and degrading. No AC in the gym, the ceiling is falling down. They don’t give receipts when you pay for a day pass. Do not call for information about the businesses inside the gym. You'll get a rude Customer Service Representative, that works for the gym. He stated, that doesn't know anything about any of these business's. If you have questions (like hours and phone numbers) then he will proceed to hang up on you rudely. Apparently he was finished speaking and didn't care if you had questions about the gym. Or want to bring business into the building, which could bring business into other businesses in the building. Not a good first impression at the door, or in this case on the phone.

This place is MASSIVE!!! Really a great gym to drop in as well. Join a month for 25 and knock out all your exercise needs. It's end of July, HOT and the feel food good!! Don't be afraid of the no AC it's totally OK and I'm a guy who overheats and had no issue! Would have given 5 stars if they had straight curling bars, sadly the ones they had are bent and heavy curls (>100lbs) you can feel iy and it hurts! Olympic bars were all fine thiugh, my gym back at home has more crooked Olympic bars I complain about all the time.

I joined the xgym for the fitness classes. Thre Zumba is ok, but there's a lot of gluteous shaking unrelated to zumba. I also tried the dance fitness and found the focus mostly on how much the instructor's can shake her bootie.

Hands down BEST gym in Myrtle Beach! They have everything I need (free weights, plenty of benches, cables, machines, basketball court, etc.) and more (classes, soccer, bday parties) for such an affordable price. And it's big enough to where I'm never waiting for a bench—which is huge for me! Plus the owners are awesome! Extremely friendly and helpful. I can't say enough good things about this gym. The only downside is that it's far from my house—I have to pass like 3-4 gyms on the way... yet I still choose to go here! The X gym is such a great facility to be apart of! There are so many businesses inside to accommodate any of your interests or needs! Sherri is awesome. I did not know I would appreciate and be able to do yoga. Loved it. My wife did too.
We liked how Sherri gave options for beginners to Advanced in many of the different poses. The shavasana (if that's how to say it) was outstanding with refreshing eucalyptus cold clothes at the end.

I used this gym both for working out and tanning because the price was awesome. But they always say you get what you pay for. As far as the gym equipment goes, it is very outdated and dirty, the machines never work and the tredmills are always broken. When I signed up I was really excited to use the tanning beds since I had been paying well over $50 monthy at my previous tanning salon. They have three “levels” 1: stand up, 2: bronzing, and 3: “extreme” and I use that term loosley. Level 3 goes up to 20min and I was doing that for a while until I realized I was not getting any tanner and yes, I was using a good lotion. I did some research and even heard from the girl at my tanning salon the only bed that goes up to 20min is a LEVEL ONE. I really didn’t appreciate they way they lied and marketed the level one bed as a three, I have prom in a few weeks and have gotten no color from that bed. Lastly, a few weeks ago while I was tanning I noticed the acrylic was starting to melt at the corner near my face and started to create a big glob of melted acrylic. I told them about it and figured it would be fixed sonce it could easily burn the person tanning. The next day i came in and noticed that they had flipped the acrylic so that the burning acrylic was at my feet and wouldnt be visable. Very unprofessional and shows that they do not care about their customers. I will be canceling and not returning.

I love this place, and I love what they're doing on multiple levels. A one stop location for sports and fitness of all types at a very affordable price. Repurposing an empty industrial space to provide a place for the local community to gather to do something other than drink. Some of the construction shows that it was done on a budget, but you'll never get so much for so little someplace like LA Fitness.
I was there entirely for the free weights, and was pleased to see quality brands of equipment, like the Rogue Fitness squat rack and power rack. It's true that their plates are kind of a mismatched hodgepodge, but 45 pounds is 45 pounds, and it all lifts the same. I do have to say, the members need to do a better job of putting their plates away when they finish an exercise. But outside of those minor quibbles I loved everything about this place

Thanksgiving company trying to cram all into a short visit had the teen children looking for a basketball court nearby. X Gym has indoor court play at $10 each for the day. Large parking lot and nice court. Youth played about 2 hours before dinner. Happy to be warm inside on cold days. Conveniently located nearby and open on a major holiday. Inside smaller shops - not all open this time. Air conditioning is needed for the summer - large ceiling fans don't cool well.

The gym is barely holding together. I wouldnt believe these reviews. Dirty atmosphere. No cleaning towels, no cleaning staff, weights are unorganized, A BENCH PRESS HAS BEEN BROKEN FOR MONTHS ( I told staff multiple times with an answer of "eh it still works"), cable machines never function and the tanning beds are either running or broken. (And it smelled like piss).Theres no heat or AC. Oh ya and there's insulation falling out of the ceiling! Looks like theres asbestos up there too. Lean on any wall in that place and the whole wall shakes like its going to fall. Pass on the bathrooms as they smell like the sewer and there was dirty TP in the bathroom garbage can! Ew!

Also do not park on the right side under the awnings they have nails all in the parking lot coming out of the building. I picked a handfull up and showed the owner and he told me "yea dont park over there haha". I literally had my hands full!

There are many choices for Gyms and it seems they are all pretty close in price but there is a huge difference in environments. This gym is not for pretend pretty people who care more about their Under Armour labels being visible then actually working out. This Gym is for people who are serious about what they are doing and they respect one another. I do not see any women being gawked at or stared at while they are working out which makes the place a very comfortable atmosphere to loose your pounds. However, be aware that there is no air conditioning so expect to sweat a lot. They do have huge fans which help but it gets very hot

I also understand they were putting in a pole dancing studio. They have(for an additional cost I believe...I think someone else runs this)a course like on ninja warrior out back of the facility. Stephanie is amazing and so nice to everyone and a great Zumba instructor also krestin at front desk is always very sweet.Tania a Zumba instructor is also amazing.I love this gym they treat you like family and I recommend there classes which are so fun. Best gym around

I visited the x gym while visiting myrtle beach and I wasn’t sure about it at first but after talking to staff member Alan he convinced me!! I finally moved down here 3 weeks ago and and one of the first things I did was get a membership and I’ve been happy here ever since! It’s an amazing facility with awesome staff and friendly faces all around with no judgement!!

Great place to work out. And whenever you need assistance the workers are always there, speacially that one employee Alan. He will always be working hard and helping people when they need assistance. Is my favorite place to play soccer during the weekend.

I LOVEEEEEE THIS PLACE!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 I came from out of town to visit a buddy and decided to go with a week long membership. It was cheap! Around 20 bucks actually. But to my surprise this gym has everything I could ever ask for. Sports classes for just about everything you can imagine, tanning beds(eye candy) 😂, and even Zumba fitness classes. The cutie Stephanie, at the front entrance was awesome too! She answered all of my questions before I signed up and really made me feel at home. I’ll definitely be visiting this place again the next time I’m in town. You get so much for so little here!! Highly reccommend X Gym if you’re looking for a fit lifestyle transformation all while being taken care of like you’re family. You get an all around great experience with great staff, and great energy. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
