Yoga studio Physical fitness programAbout the Club
At Y2 Yoga, you might find our approach to yoga a bit out of the ordinary, but we like it that way. In our signature Y2 Yoga power classes, you will get a dynamic flow that focuses on cardio, strength and flexibility all to the soundtrack of beats that help to motivate and inspire. We believe that your practice should be fun, but challenging. Our methodology teaches you how to show up on your mat and, as a result, you will start showing up in your own life.

I just signed up and have attended several classes at the Fort Mill location. I have a lot of injuries from the military and bodybuilding so I decided to try hot yoga as it is supposed to help with injuries. I absolutely loved the classes, I was able to fully participate without any pain. The chronic pain I usually feel has started to subside and has improved my happiness by tons!! I would highly recommend Y2 for everyone, especially those who want to prevent weightlifting injuries.

Great yoga studio! I just finished the 3 week new student special and was really impressed. Clean, friendly, great instructors. And itβs truly hot yoga. Good if you love Bikram but are looking for a new option in hot yoga.

I have been going for several months now and continue to learn each class. Sue is an incredible instructor for the LSD classes β she is passionate about her craft, gives assists when needed, and is able to sprinkle in changes in her sessions while staying consistent with the main flow. Emily for the single shot classes is great at challenging you, smooth in the transitions, and keeps you motivated throughout. I would highly recommend this studio.

New ownership of this studio sucks! Overpriced classes!
I highly discourage anyone from taking a yoga class here! Extremely arrogant male owner!
OM Yoga in Fort Mill is much better!
Check them out!

I have enjoyed my time at Y2 so far! I plan to sign up for the unlimited membership as soon as my new student special ends. I have greatly enjoyed all the instructors for far, Emily and Leonard being 2 of my favorites! I have never taken hot yoga before, and while it was a lot to take in my first visit, I am a few more practices in and already feeling more confident!

This is a country club / yoga studio. Very very clean. They have Showers water dispensers, towels, bags for wet cloths. Iβm not a typical yoga sized guy but they make you feel right at home.

Wow. Totally blown away. My new favorite yoga studio. I think this place will take off
Facility is amazing. The format is like Y2 except the music isnβt loud, the lighting is softer and they slow it down the last 15 minutes.

My wife bought me a month of yoga here and Iβve been to 5 classes so far and have had a great experience each time. The instructors are friendly, supportive and encouraging. Even though I was the only guy a couple times, I didnβt feel like an out of place ogre! Today, I utilized the showers because I didnβt have time to get back home before work, and found the facilities to be very comfortable. I like this place a lot!

A top-notch studio with down to earth staff and instructors. The studio is clean and well lit. The instructors knowledgeable and willing to assist. Iβve taken classes and attended flows at other studios, but they simply donβt compare. Looking to grow in your practice? This is the place for you to call βhomeβ

I have been a member since CYβs inception and I cannot say enough positive things about this studio. From friendliness of staff to cleanliness of facility my experience has been top notch. The classes provide variety and offer a great deal of opportunity for personal growth. It is truly a family affair for us- my children and husband all participate!!

Staff left much to be desired. I walked in with a 10% off coupon and was charged $16 though the class was $15 without the coupon (?), when I informed the front desk attendant I was visiting for a few days she encouraged me to buy the new student pass which was $49 for a month of unlimited yoga...again, what? When I told her that I didn't think two days of unlimited yoga would justify paying $49 she was curt and standoffish for the rest of the transaction and the "tour" which was essentially showing me where to leave my shoes and where the bathroom was. No shame to small studios, but the entire err of the interaction was negative.
Further, as both a yoga teacher and a longtime student, I can speak to the inaccurate and confusing sequencing of the class. There was terminology for poses that was neither the traditional Sanskrit names nor what would be called industry standard (i.e. forearm stand instead of pincha mayurasana). This as well as the rather unwelcoming nature of both the front desk staff and instructor, left me very discouraged and disappointed that yet another establishment is perpetuating the "yoga culture" stereotype; that is, a culture based off the idea that there is a "right" way to practice yoga (e.g. right clothing to wear, right type of person, competitiveness, etc.), instead of encouraging students to focus their practice as a physical mediation, personalizing their practice and cultivating an welcoming environment for all students, where in which there really is no "right" way to yoga. Needless to say, be you a seasoned or new student, if you are looking for a studio that focuses on the yoga, not the rather unfortunate "lululemon image" yoga, I would not recommend.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rates are great and they provide towels for you and also have mats you can rent if need be for a very low reasonable price. I did the recovery class on Thursday with instructor Jessica S. I would totally recommend this class to anyone new or experienced. A lot of good deep stretching that helps improve strength and balance. Jessica is also very patient and helpful and really explains the motions well.

Absolutely loving Carolina Yoga. Location is convenient and studio is modern, clean, and calming - truly a great space. Every amenity dreamed is offered (showers, lockers, towels, water, coffee, etc). With the large class offering, I can always find a class to fit into my schedule. I've taken both the C3+ Power Yoga and Strength classes and the instructors have all been personable, welcoming, and informative. Helping me get my best workout.

Let me tell you about yogi heaven
"What are the facilities like?" you ask skeptically.
Brand spanking new and state of the art. Depending on the class the studios can be controlled to have varying degrees of humidity and temperature. The sound system is concert quality, and they can even control the lighting to match the mood! The bathrooms are extremely clean and have lockers for your things as well as showers and towels for when you need to rinse off. Even the studio floor is awesome. It's nice and supportive, but with a little give so it's easy on your joints.
"What's the staff like", you wonder with crossed fingers?
Three words: competent, friendly, and caring. The front desk staff is always happy to answer whatever questions you have and help you with scheduling or other issues. The teachers are all outgoing and experienced. They make each class fun and engaging!
"Can I bring my kids?" you inquire hopefully.
Kids and teen classes are offered here! Instructors teach children fun yoga games as they introduce them to poses; and lead teens through mentally and physically stimulating routines while you practice.
"When can I sign up?!?" You ask with tears of joy in your eyes.
Right now! Contact the studio or use your MindBody account to take a class today.
