If the studio is closing, why are they still selling memberships and class packages on the site?

The music was way too loud to where I couldn't hear the instructor over the music at times. For this to be a meditation style yoga class, I would have expected more zen, relaxing instrumental music that you often associate with yoga instead of the blaring pop music. It was very difficult to relax and did not get any meditative benefits out of this class that I often seek out in yoga.
I did like the yoga positions and flow otherwise though

Kiley, our instructor, has a calm demeanor, but her teaching style felt disorganized. The classes often lacked clear direction, making it hard to follow along and truly immerse in the practice. There were moments when I felt lost and unsure about the poses or the flow, which detracted from the overall experience.

Additionally, the pricing at YogaSix is confusing. The website lists various packages, but it wasn’t clear what each included. I found myself unsure whether I was getting the best deal or if there were hidden fees. This lack of transparency made me hesitant to commit to more classes.

Overall, while the studio has potential, the combination of Kiley's teaching and the confusing pricing structure left me disappointed. I hope they can improve in these areas, as there’s definitely a beautiful space here waiting to flourish.

I recently attended a yoga class led by Kiley, and unfortunately, I left feeling quite underwhelmed. While I was hopeful to enhance my practice, I found Kiley's instruction lacking in several areas.

First, Kiley struggled to provide clear guidance on poses. Many of us in the class were beginners, and her explanations were often vague, leaving us unsure of our alignment and technique. Instead of fostering a supportive environment, it felt more chaotic, with little individual attention.

Additionally, Kiley's sequencing of poses seemed disjointed, making it difficult to flow through the class. There were moments where we rushed from one pose to another without adequate transitions, which led to confusion and frustration.

Moreover, Kiley’s approach to adjustments was minimal, and I noticed several students in need of support who didn’t receive it. This lack of attentiveness made it hard to feel safe and confident in our practice.

Overall, I left Kiley’s class feeling disappointed and less skilled than when I arrived. I believe with more experience and focus on teaching fundamentals, she could improve significantly, but for now, I can’t recommend her class.

I have been doing yoga for 20+ years and have been to many studios across North America. A hurricane just ravaged this area and hundreds of thousands are without power and water. Many have so much clean up & rebuilding to do. There is nothing more needed and necessary than a yoga community to help its members rejuvenate and heal (on the inside and out). Someone I love recently attempted to do just this after Helene and was 2 minutes late due to travel times taking unexpectedly longer than normal (ya know, downed trees and power lines and stuff). She was denied due to “policy”.

This is not a true yoga studio and it’s not a place for community members. This is corporate greed dressed in Lululemon. I will never come here and I will actively tell others that I know not to come here either. Good luck with your policies!

I will never recommend this studio to anyone in the area. I understand policies need to be upheld, but arriving two minutes late to a class and then explaining I am without water and power due to a hurricane and just wanted to escape for a class and still being denied entry is horrific customer service. This is a group fitness class, not open heart surgery. Furthermore, it was a yoga sculpt class, had it been a meditation or restore class I MAYBE could have understood this stance a little more. Your clientele will never provide feedback on policies being upheld but what they will provide feedback on is when the studio was supportive to the community and in this circumstance could not have been a worse example. For a yoga studio you’d think overall well being would be prioritized over a policy in an extenuating circumstance.

I just completed my 200th class at YogaSix Forest Acres. To say my life has changed is an understatement. YogaSix has cultivated a safe and supportive environment for us to practice, learn and grow. The mental and physical benefits of yoga are shining through to my day to day life. My back pain is gone and I have noticed the ability to be present and not reactive. I am so thankful to be apart of such a wonderful community.

I joined this studio because they have a great amount of class times which makes it easy to come before or after work regularly and I have been so happy coming here! They have great instructors who are passionate about yoga and bring a fun variety to each class. I love the warmer classes as it helps to get a little deeper into each pose. They have something for yogis at every level and a good range of more exercise/cardio focused to restorative/gentle. I would definitely recommend trying them out!

YogaSix is my first experience with in-studio yoga after years of dabbling at home. I joined the studio to see if a more structured approach to yoga could improve my strength, flexibility, balance and range-of-motion supporting me as a distance runner.

The gentle and compassionate instructors remind me to work with what's available to me in this moment. They invite opportunities to make adjustments, and surprise me with repositions I wasn't even aware that I needed.

The classes are full of everyday people of all shapes, sizes, and ages, each of us at a seemingly at a different spot in our yoga path. The atmosphere is not clique-ish but inviting.

There is an opportunity that in-studio classes present that I've never been able to achieve on my own. I'm open and hopeful that my experience with YogaSix will be long and rewarding.
