BEWARE. Facilities are okay and there are not a lot of gyms available in the area. I moved out of range and tried to cancel due to that per their contract agreement but they will not let you out of the contract easily. Be ready to put the membership payment on a credit card or talk to your bank about a chargeback because they will insist on charging your card and violating their agreement.

I liked the people that work at this gym but as business be careful, the contract you have to sign is ridiculous and theyll keep charging you after you cancel, its fraud.

Update: 6 days later after posting this review, they are still not answering their phones, and I've tried multiple times a day for multiple days. Its ridiculous.

Canceled with them years ago, suddenly start getting messages like I'm back on with them. I stopped in to ask about it, was told it'd get looked into. Just got another messages today that they tried to charge my card. I signed nothing and said nothing about wanting to rejoin in these years.

Been trying to call the number *they* messaged me all day, and I guess they also don't answer their phones either. Don't know what's going on, but it's incredibly frustrating.

I personally like this gym very much.

This is a clean, well-maintained, and friendly-staffed gym. Open 24/7. They offer personalized routines, group classes, indoor tanning, fitness assessments, and more. In my opinion, the staff is quite friendly and they'll quickly make you feel like part of the family.

The only grievance I have with the gym is the price. At the time of this post the basic package is $60/mo while the premium package is $70/mo. You're definitely getting the high-quality gym experience relative to a small town like Pierre, but i could definitely see the price turning away some less-than-avid gym-goers

Anytime fitness is an amazing place to workout, and has lot of benefits if you can pay for them, but I’ve tried cancelling my membership 3-4 times because I just don’t have the time to go, but it seems like they refuse to cancel my membership, I’ve talked to multiple people and haven’t gotten any useful information… another reason why I wanted to cancel my membership was all the random charges I was getting on my card. I’d get charges 2 days apart from eachother! And nobody could explain why!!! This became such a problem I had to literally cancel my card to get out of this membership! I’d definitely recommend going to a different gym!

Great place to get a good workout. The equipment is plentiful lol making it easy to get your workout done. I love theHeart rate sensor me and my daughter wear to keep track of our workout. We get to compete with one another as well using the trophy feature that makes it fun for both of us.

Management isn't the best. Not staffed enough to enforce social distancing or mask guidelines. Many members don't clean equipment despite a lot of signage. Seems like they simply don't care much unless you are paying for training.

I am approaching my 10-year anniversary of having a membership at Anytime Fitness and have worked out at multiple clubs over this period of time. All of the clubs I've worked out at are clean and well maintained, and this club is no exception. This club has a nice setup and has friendly management. If you enjoy having 24/7 access to a well-maintained fitness club in Pierre and when traveling, I would highly recommend getting a membership.

We have tried to cancel our membership three times because we don't have time to go, the first time they told us they we could after a year and then we would be able to cancel it, the second time they told my husband that they couldn't, they didn't even told him why the third time I called and said I need to do it in person so I went but there was no staff around and it was during the day. Our card was damaged and we changed it and didn't update the payment method and now they sent us an email saying that we needed to pay 211 $$ dlls or they would take further action. I have called multiple times and they send me to voicemail.

Atmosphere is somewhat friendly. The Kyle Glodt guy is a douche canoe. Has no faith in anyone unless they're paying him outrageous money to go to his stupid workout class. Be very cautious- you can't back out of the contract unless you move away. Be prepared to spend a lot of money to go to the gym. Has very nice equipment. If your looking for a kid free, quiet place to work out, I would say go for it.
