We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Barefoot! My daughter looks forward to her weekly dance class every single time. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, always making us feel at home. Most importantly, my daughter has an absolute blast in every class while pursuing her dancing dreams. I’ve have been going to this dance studio for approximately 13 years and never want to leave. All the staff are amazing and supper supportive. They treat all the students fairly and include everyone. The other students are very kind and easy to make friends with. There are so many different classes for all different ages and abilities. Miss. Ashley has improved Barefoot so much and I am extremely great full for everything she has done this and last year. I’ve always felt like Barefoot is a safe place and great for every age. This year alone I have improved my confidence and technique so much!!❤️

New management is awful. They ghosted us when we asked for a refund on erroneous fees after we talked to admin multiple times. They kept saying they'd pass it on to the manager who never spoke to us until it was time to cut ties. Ashley is awful and she's caused at least two other families we know to leave. The previous management was amazing.

Miss Ashley is a rockstar, the absolute best, and meets your child where they are while maintaining the utmost professionalism teaching my daughter dance etiquette, and always fostering kindness. Under the direction of Miss Ashley we have found a comfortable, inviting, studio that has welcomed us and made us feel perfectly at home. My daughter did one class this year with Barefoot. For hip hop, they had a difficult time finding a teacher. As a result, their routine suffered and they didn’t have the routine finalized until very close to the recital. There were three hip hop classes that did the same routine to the same song, and the recital costumes were hot, and ugly.

During rehearsal, the children were made to sit for 3-4 hours at a table, and the parents were not told the children could bring devices or activities to keep them entertained. They were not allowed to leave their seats to visit with friends in other groups. I understand that there needs to be order, but that works both ways and I know other studios do a better job with time management/crowd control.

I will say, my daughter enjoyed the class, and the teachers she had were kind and understanding. It felt very disjointed and she was upset by her recital experience.

This is definitely a JUDGE FREE ZONE!!! The studio has classes that will fit their needs and they work with them without pushing them too far! My girls who are 7 and 4 absolutely love their dance instructors as well as the rest of the staff! It’s going on 4 yrs for my oldest and it’s my youngest 1st yr! So far so good! My girls always tell me that they feel comfortable there and it feels like home! I highly recommend Barefoot Dance Studio! Thank you staff for all you do!!!!! You guys ROCK!

The moment we walked into Barefoot, my daughter knew she found her home. The family here is one that you want your child to belong to. The instructors are second to none in personality and skill. The recitals play at the PAC which makes it a comfy, exciting environment that everyone can afford. The Special Needs Dance program is beautiful. Go to Barefoot and feel what I'm talking about. Horrible customer service... I was charged for two months even though I never went to a single class. I asked for a refund the first month I got charged. They said I couldn’t get one, I could only freeze my account, so I asked to freeze my account and per phone conversation I thought that got done. I still got charged the month after that. I had to go through my bank to get my money back.

They can't tell you the full price when you call and ask. And then when you get their you are charged extra. They have horrible customer service. My daughter got scolded over an outfit when they could have nicely told her once she couldnt practice. They called me over the outfit issue told me about 3-4 times over the phone. I could tell my child was upset when picked her up. Then they proceeded to get after me again for the outfit when I picked her up. I shouldn't have even went that day and I would have saved my self a lot of attitude and grief. If you own A dance studio you still need to have some customer service. I was never treated poorly like this at prima school of dancing I went their for 6-7 years. I am very disgusted with the way we were treated from the get go, at this studio.
