This is a clean gym, quiet and relaxing. I came to Club Pilates for a free class that broke down what would take place during a class and different positions what they were called and how to execute the moves. I am 60 years old, obese, and have issues that will be operated on late fall. My physical therapist suggested this type of excersise. I have never done anything like this before. Kerri and the rest of the staff made everyone feel welcome. I had no trouble keeping up with Kerri. I was not uncomfortable even though I was the only one over weight. I did sign up to take classes twice a week. I am looking forward to my first class come Monday. I highly recommend this gym and Kerri as an introduction instructor.

I’ve been attending Club Pilates for several months now and I’m still challenged each time I attend a class. I really like Karri as an instructor—her experience shows in her ability to carefully explain each move and the reason for it, offering different positions for injuries and individual ability, and ensuring participants are doing the exercises correctly, all while providing a nonjudgmental atmosphere. She’s the best instructor I’ve had at any of the Club Pilates studios nationwide, and I have nothing negative to say about any Club Pilates studios—because they have all been great. If you are looking for core strengthening and some excellent stretching without a fast-paced gym type atmosphere, join Club Pilates. And no, I was not paid for my testimonial 😇

Pilates is completely new to me and I was a little intimidated by the equipment, but the instructors have been very nice, welcoming, and patient with me. I especially enjoyed Ella’s class! The more classes I go to the more I enjoy it, actually very impressed with Club Pilates, although the cancellation policy is fairly strict - be mindful of that.

Let me start off by saying that I think the Sioux Falls location and all the pilates instructors and the general manager there are WONDERFUL and I love the classes, the classes can really be as easy or challenging as you want them to be and they have different levels for advancement. Everyone is very nice and welcoming there and sometimes when the GM is around she will throw special events, and they usually have some type of challenge going on too, which makes it fun. I also like that they offer 5am classes and weekend classes, which makes it easier to go to when working. I always am in a good mood and feel better after going to pilates. Reformer pilates feels a little easier and more low impact on my body compared to regular mat pilates. The location is good, the room is a little tight with all 12 reformers, but they make it work. The classes are 50 minutes long. You arrive and change into your gripper socks and enjoy your class, the instructors explain everything that you need to do. They have a water machine for your water bottles and little cubbies for you stuff. I think for some of the more exerting classes(F.I.T and some of the 1.5 classes), it would be nice if they had some small towels to use for sweating. Otherwise for 90% of the classes I do not sweat or need one.
However, I do not care for the corporate policies and what those entail. So to sign up there is a "sign up fee" that is $149 normally but they have several times throughout the year where the enrollment fee is $25, fine that is reasonable although I feel there shouldn't be a "sign up fee/enrollment" in the first place considering how much it costs. Next, they have their memberships organized by either 4-class, 8-class or unlimited per month. The 4 and 8 classes cannot carry over to the next month. When you sign up, you are stuck in that membership and cannot cancel or downgrade for 3 months, of course though, they will allow you upgrade at any time. So the 4 class/month is $99/month (the 4 class/month is not eligible for the healthcare worker discount), the 8 class/month is $150 (with healthcare discount) or unlimited for $200/month (with healthcare discount). Also when doing the 4 or 8 a month you have to wait to book your classes until your sign up date, so often times some of the classes you wanted will be already booked by the unlimited members, they do have a waitlist that you can join though. So with the math it adds up to about $25 a class for the 4/month. $18 a class for the 8/month and with unlimited it would be best to go at least 11 days out of the month, to make it worth getting the unlimited. With summer coming up, and getting more busy I was anticipating going down in membership to the 4/month and then I was considering canceling for a bit, but now I am locked into a 3-month agreement again so likely will be locked in until July or August, (it is currently March but I have to wait a month or two to cancel per their policies). Just be careful when signing the paperwork and make sure you know what you are signing! Also this information regarding price is incredibly difficult to find anywhere online I noticed when I tried searching for it.

As someone who struggles finding an exercise that doesn't hurt my body afterwards(I have fibromyalgia), I really like pilates. It helps strengthen my body and brain since the classes are always different! The instructors do a great job making sure you are comfortable doing a new exercise and are really helpful!

Please make sure Karri (the Karri spelled with 2 r’s) knows her class today at 8:00 on Friday, Jan 10 was wonderful. I loved that she was incorporating new moves with weights and her instructions on how to do the moves to feel it in your core were phenomenal. I appreciate an instructor who puts time into the planning and delivery of classes to challenge you, yet encouraged modifications if needed. I will sign up for as many classes with Karri as I can!

I’ve tried all sorts of exercise routines over the years, but this is the first one I’ve truly loved. I’m so excited about it that I aim to go six days a week! It’s the perfect blend of exercise, breathing, and stretching, and I still feel like I’m getting a solid workout. I especially love Ella’s classes—her calm presence, great music, and ever-changing routines keep it fun and never boring. Thanks to Pilates, I no longer need physical therapy or chiropractic visits because I feel so much healthier overall. Definitely a 10 out of 10! Side note: I did a private class for my family when they all came in town for Thanksgiving. It was so much fun and my young adult kids loved it!

I received an invitation to come back to Pilates after a year and a half for a free introductory lesson and a discount off of my enrollment. Initially I joined a class and felt lost but this was a little more personal I had to write my name and then she came to ask me my experiences. So she kind of knew where I'm already at physically. This was the introductory lesson that I really needed. After spending the last year weight training I realize Pilates can offer me everything that I need. Kayla was very good.

Wow, just wow! I do bodybuilding and run a ton, however I just finished my intro class and I love how much work I just did with such little impact on my body. Kaitlin is such an amazing teacher, and does such a wonderful job not only easing people’s nerves but pushing them to be their best! Heartbreaking to watch this fabulous studio being run into the ground now. I was a member for over 5 years; 512 classes, gave new management a year to get acclimated— never happened. All of the instructors we had have quit except 1 who is really great but has a full time job and only instructs a few classes a week.

My studio in Sioux Falls started off great. Now they cut Sunday classes completely. They are cutting half the night classes and some Friday classes. Very hard to justify paying the monthly price when only two nights a week offer night classes. People have to work during the day. Maybe try offering less morning classes and more night classes.

The classes and instructors have been good, but prospective clients should be aware of the policies and class schedule of this location.
Over the past few months this location has decreased the number of evening classes during the week and no longer has classes on Sundays. The packages are not flexible and the credits do not roll over. Due to these factors I opted to cancel my membership, the cancellation policy requires a 30 day notice, therefore I had to pay for another month on my membership per my billing cycle. I received my normal credits for the month and scheduled the classes, however, the cancellation went into effect 5 days prior to my final billing cycle ending, resulting in a forfeit of 2 credits. I called the studio and they tried to help, but after discussing with their management I was told it is policy and there was nothing they could do.
Again, due to the decreasing number of classes, I forfeited a total of 5 of my 8 credits over the last two months.

My body loves Pilates. It has improved my flexibility functionally and mobility. I am a human. I move around all day long. I play golf and chase my kids. The owners are first class professionals and the instructors are very passionate so much so that it’s contagious.
