Hart Ranch is about 25 minutes off of I-90 to the south. Very challenging, well maintained track. There 4 sets of tees plus a orange/green hybrid option. There are 3 holes with blind shots but the GPS will notify you of them. 2 holes were modified and shortened due to improvements in progress but these did not take away from the overall round experience. Some other improvements going on such as cart paths direct carts on a slightly different route so pay attention. Be especially mindful of #3 and #6 tees as they are next to each other. HINT: #3 is on the far side of the restrooms. Tees were trimmed closely and greens ran true and very quick. Due to some tricky cups even lightly tapped putts could run 10 - 15 feet past on occasion. GPS system and a small cooler (ice and supplies available inside) on the carts. It wasn't busy when I played so I had the chance to make it a casual round with extra practice once in a while and for some picture taking of the area scenery. "Buss" working behind the Pro Shop counter was very personable as were the other course staff I met. 2 practice greens, chipping area, and driving range all near the clubhouse. Range balls you pay for. All in all a fun course that's worth the trip.

Hart Ranch, y'all are doing a lot of things right. Scenic views were above expectations. Fairways, layout, greens are equal or better than the country clubs I've played in Missouri. Greens are deceiving and lightning fast. Staff was top notch. Dewey, you da man. Course was challenging but overall one of the top 3 courses I've played.

I love this course. Recent renovations have made this great course even better. Excellent greens and overall conditions. Fun for every skill level. Also HR has the best golf simulator atmosphere in the region. Shout out to the management team that treats me so well!

As first time visitors to golf in South Dakota, we were very pleasantly surprised and appreciative of this great golf course. Keep in mind, I did not say "easy"! This course provides plenty of challenges and has about the trickiest greens with lots of undulations in them. We would rate it as a definite 5 Star experience.

Hart Ranch is one of the best golf courses I've played. The carts are electrical with ipads telling you the distance for hole, which was very helpful!
The terrain and scenery was not only challenging, but serene and beautiful!

Visiting from San Antonio texas. Chose this golf course to play first while in Rapid city. Man what a treat it was. Everybody in the pro shop the snack bar and on course personnel were all super friendly. The course was in great shape. Good size driving range, putting green and shipping area available before you go out. Well stocked pro shop. You cannot go wrong by making this your choice to play while in Rapid city. Hart Ranch is the place to go if you live here or if you're visiting in town and looking for a nice round of golf.

We only played the first 9, but the course was well kept and in great shape. They offer a military discount. We all really enjoyed in our party of 4, the LCD touch screens in each cart that kept our score, showed the course, and a few other little details. I wish every course we play out on our travels had this in the carts.

Once done, we ordered hamburgers and hotdogs that were good.

Great golf course with even better service! I recently moved the area and golfed here several times and I always felt so welcomed by all of of the staff members (Jerry, Dewey, Peyton) and even the cart guys were super friendly. I was not planning to get a membership anywhere as I wanted to just golf multiple different courses each week but after a just a few times out decided to get a year membership with them because of the level of service (not to mention the great course). Thanks guys for running a course the way it is suppose to be by being so welcoming and providing top not service! If you have never been to Hart Ranch Golf Course make sure to give them a shot, I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

we golfed Hart Ranch two days ago. The green fees are way too high for the quality of the course and the condition especially the greens which were sparse to say the least. The staff were not that friendly and i had to negotiate to get 10% off the asking price.The other staff were very friendly and helpful. The pro shop staff member seemed to be disturbed that we were there and could have been much more attentive to people that pay their wages. We played courses from British Columbia to Nashville Tennessee and back home and this course should be a $40.00 course.

A hidden gem!!! When I golfed here a few years back during the Sturgis Bike Rally week I was incredibly impressed. This was by far the most beautifully maintained course I've ever golfed.

This course was incredibly green and there wasn't a divot to be found anywhere. "It was in pristine condition." You can tell the workers and golfers take pride in this course once you step foot on the grounds. If I wasn't mistaken it looked as if this course was preparing for a PGA tour event and hasn't been played on hardly at all yet it was super busy.

This course offers a variety of holes which can test your game. Some holes are lined with trees others are lined with houses and some are more open with large water hazards.

If you're ever in the area this is an absolute must!

The peace and tranquility of this senic course is impeccable. The pace of play is almost always on schedule for an 18 hole round. The greens roll true and fast and are amazing to putt on. I highly recommend this course you will not be disappointed. And now with the opening of the OC Bar and Grill (in the old club house) adds another unique addition to this course with 5 big screen tv's a large covered patio and indoor seating with AC for those hot summer days.
