Pound is a 45 minute cardio kicker set to heart pumping music. Using our RipStix, you will combine Pilates, Strength & Conditioning, to get a full body workout. You need a yoga mat, comfortable shoes and water. Entrance is at the BACK of 109 N Main Street in Canton SD. Please see my Facebook page @PoundbyAmber for a list of this month's events! Pound is an intense but fun workout where the music gets you moving to the beat while forgetting that you are squatting and lunging and building muscle at the same time. Amber, is an amazing coach and knows how to elevate the room in a way that leaves you craving more at the end of class! She is devoted to her Pound Posse and her doors are wide open to anyone who wants to get in on the fun, and leave you dripping with sweat, but still smiling.

I heard some great beats during a walk one evening and came upon an outdoor Pound Class. It looked like a ton of fun, so I decided to give it a try. Pound has been absolutely life changing for me! I have far more energy and mobility than I did before. I understand my body and my limits better. And I got to meet some amazing people and make some great friendships in the process. If you are looking for a workout or a place you'll feel like family, try a Pound class. It might look difficult from the outside, but the movements are modifiable for any fitness level, injury or physical limitation. I cannot recommend Pound or Amber highly enough!
