The Sanford Pentagon is a 160,000-square-foot athletic facility in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. As the cornerstone of the Sanford Sports Complex, the facility hosts a variety of events, including professional, collegiate, high school and youth competitions. The Sanford Pentagon is also home to Sanford Sports Academy basketball and volleyball programs, which help young athletes develop and refine their skills.

Nice complex, but very disappointed in the seating. Here for a girl's BB tourney. Courts 4-9 have adequate seating, but Courts 1-3 are terrible. There's only about 30 seats for both team's fans unless you want to sit 50-100 feet away on the ends of the courts. They charge 10 bucks per day to attend, I'd like adequate seating.

Food is over priced and you have to sit on the floor to eat. Very poorly designed no seating other than the bleachers that are. full of spectators during events. So if your in between games you have to stand or sit on the floor.and food workers were not wearing glove i thought this was a health code violation.

Very disappointed, attended the SDSU Jacks vs. Michigan wrestling match.
Security was super slow, waited in line for 20+ minutes, had 10 minutes before start time and they finally took down the metal detectors and just let everyone in.
Got to the concession stand the were under staffed and ran out of food before the event started. My estimate is 2500-3000 people.
If you insist on hosting big time events you need to step up your game. Would have been much better in Frost arena!!!

Watched a G League game and was a great experience. Intimate atmosphere with no bad seats. Fun for all including children. They had a bounce house and plenty of giveaways/fan interactions throughout the game. Parking was plentiful near the arena and FREE.

I'm from a big city so even though its a smaller venue it was still a great experience! Went to see a Skyforce game and there was so much interaction with the crowd and games to play for kids as well as prizes to win! Overall, a fantastic experience that is great for any age! Not to mention the Mascot was very funny and entertaining too!

Nice place. Parking is inadequate and chopped up. I found myself stuck in a parking lot with no exit and no way to turn around. With other vehicles having the same issue I was stuck and ended up having to back up against traffic direction. The entire situation caused obvious frustration and road rage. I guess next time I’ll know to keep driving. No other complaints.

I played in a volleyball tournament yesterday and I figured they’d only have junk food there. So I brought some granola bars and fruit from the hotel and an older employee that works there made me open my bag so he could check it. When he saw my paper bag he asked me what was in the bag. Not very politely either. I told him it was food and I got kinda scared. He yelled at me and said that I can’t bring food in there. So he made me throw it in the trash. Another thing that happened is during one of the games the setter on the other team carried it every single time she set it and a lot of parents were getting mad but the ref never called it! And when my team was reffing I got confused with Libero tracker and she yelled at me. I wasn’t impressed with the employees but everything else was okay.

How does a Sanford facility not have healthy options for their sports tournaments? Every volleyball tournament we attend there is only one concession stand open and the only healthy option is a granola bar. How can these athletes be healthy and strong when the only option for fuel for their body is junk food. It is a complete disappointment for this organization as you talk one way and don't act the same. Let's take care of our kids and families by providing healthy options at the Sanford facilities. This also does not make a good impression on guests from out of town about Sanford

What a beautiful arena. 6 extra courts for teams to practice, play. We stayed at the Fairfield literally a few steps away. Also a good place to stay. Unfortunately, the NAIA tournament was canceled due to the "virus" and did not get to see our Olivet Tigers play...
