With its focus on 40+, semi-private coaching, early morning sessions, and convenient West Nashville location, it’s been a great fit for me. Coaches Beau, Marissa, and Chris are THE BEST—friendly, knowledgeable, strong motivators, excellent communicators, and always attentive and patient. 360 Fitness fits perfectly in the Peter Attia longevity philosophy. I’ve worked out here for 2 years and initially I didn’t know that functional strength training was what I needed. It’s a pleasure being trained in a small group setting where every weight and exercise is adapted to me. All of the instructors are very knowledgeable and give great tips. Most importantly, it is very safe, with steady but gradual gains in strength over time. I have become much stronger in a practical way. Work outs change each month to keep our bodies adapting to new stimuli. The age range of clients proves that the approach works for all. Functional strength is so important for our long term health. I’d rather spend money on quality fitness coaching than wait and spend it on prescriptions later! Try it. Your future self will thank you.

Professional and fun, encouraging and personal is how I would describe the incredible trainers. I have been attending 360 Fitness for almost 2 years and am getting stronger, making new friends, seeing my old friends and for someone who doesn’t really enjoy working out, I have to say that I (mostly) enjoy my 50 minutes twice a week. Each month the exercises change so they keep it fresh for us. There is a maximum of only 4 clients per trainer so it is very personalized. The gym is clean and parking is convenient.

The regimen is varied and hits all muscle groups, as well as supports health at all ages and comfort levels. The entire coaching staff are knowledgeable, kind, and will meet the energy that you bring!

When I received the gift of a free month of membership at 360 Fitness, I was thankful for an opportunity to kick start my fitness journey. But initially I saw it as just that…thirty days of trial that would be too intense to continue past that initial month, both for my hectic family/career calendars and for my already-squeezed wallet. After two weeks at 360, however, I knew whatever sacrifices that my family and I needed to make, so that I could continue my journey well past thirty days, would be 100% worth it. 360 Fitness champions overall wellness! I joined 360 Fitness as a participant of the Survivor Fitness program. I finished the last of my treatment for breast cancer 3 months prior to starting the program and was in desperate need of a functional fitness program. Even after completing physical therapy there were some movements that I was unable to do effectively. 360 Fitness spent two sessions solely on intake to properly document my strengths and weak points. Marty was so thorough and made me feel confident in their gym. My trainer, Marissa, guided me through every exercise, including the warm up and cool down. She pushed me when I needed it, and provided great feedback on how to perform the movements that were more difficult for me to understand (deadlifts). Grace stepped in as a back up trainer and knew exactly what I needed to work on. Every trainer there is well equipped and knowledgeable on your training needs (thanks Beau, Chris, Grace, Marissa). I have never been to a gym like this. This is exactly what a cancer survivor needs. I cannot recommend 360 Fitness enough! Cancer took so much from me. I had doubts whether I would ever regain my strength and flexibility, but 360 Fitness took my hand and gave me my life back.

I have tried for years to incorporate resistance/functional training into my regular routine, but I’ve always found this type of exercise not only difficult to do but quite boring but as I move through my 70s, I realize that I need to start it now before it’s absolutely too late! Marty and everyone at 360 has made something that I thought would not be fun an absolute delight. Each trainer that I’ve worked with has been absolutely wonderful and very good at guiding me on what not to do and how to do what I’m doing a little bit better. I never thought I would look so forward to walking in the door of a gym like this three times a week😊 after only a short time I am already seeing improvement in my balance and strength, and look forward to continuing with these wonderful people for a long time.

I joined the studio four months ago upon recommendation from a friend who loved it. I have exercised off and on my adult life but found in the last two years I was always too "busy" to make it to the Y. This studio is amazing! Workouts are varied, the instructors are excellent, class size super small and trainers are right with you, correcting form and challenging your workout when you are ready to progress. I am a senior, often exercising alongside much younger people, and we each get custom tweaks for our fitness levels. Working out consistently has toned my body, increased my stamina, improved my state of mind and even more importantly, I have confidence in my body now and in my ability to age and enjoy life. I began working out at 360 Fitness Coaching this summer. This was a great decision. Marty has a great team. Marty took me through an assessment first.
Last year I realized a couple of injuries while doing cardio and so I decided to focus on my flexibility, mobility, and strength before returning to cardio. Best decision.

3 months ago, I started with 360 Fitness at the urging of a friend. Upon initial consultation with Marty, my goals included: improved balance, increased strength, and improved endurance so I may enjoy activities outside the gym doors.
As of today, my husband and I just returned from a trip of a lifetime in which we trekked the rugged terrain of Vocanoes National Park (NP) in Kingali, Rwanda, to see the Mountain Gorillas. We hiked garden terrain, NP trails, and then bushwhacked through the jungle/brush by way of a tracking guide with machetes. It was the most challenging hiking experience, being >8200 feet above sea level.
I want to say here…..I absolutely would not have been able to participate in this adventure if I had not improved my strength, endurance, and balance at 360 Fitness. If you want to participate IN your life, I would strongly encourage any and everyone to check out Marty & staff. Each workout is individualized to the person. I was very clear that I did not want a place that pushed so hard that I’d injure myself. The coaching is detailed & specific. It’s been a life-changer for me.

Officially completed one year with the 360 family this April and I can’t say enough great things about Marty, his team, the members I’ve met and work out with regularly, and truly just the way this program uniquely functions against all the rest I’ve tried. I have been a member of this gym for 4 months now and I am loving it! This is huge for me because I usually don't enjoy gyms or indoor exercise routines. The trainers are so encouraging and helpful. The sessions/classes are small (2-4 people), so we get a lot of one on one attention. They also do a great job of meeting us where we are and modifying the exercises accordingly. I have had noticeable muscle growth and have had a steady improvement in fitness and strength over the past 4 months. I plan to keep going for the foreseeable future.

I wanted to start taking my health a bit more serious, but was a bit nervous about where to begin. Marty and team have been so kind in helping me get into shape! I know I am in a safe space to mess up and ask silly questions about a workout or my form. I can't say enough great things about this place and the trainers. I was a bit wary doing group training, but have found that it is much more fun and easier to do it with a group than by myself. Lots of laughter and encouragement from everyone. I have been going to 360 Fitness for the past 6 months and I’m so pleased to leave a review to share how being here has literally changed my life.

On my very first meeting with Marty (the owner) I cried. He seemed puzzled at my response and I was embarrassed. I honestly don’t recall exactly what was said that caused me to respond so strongly, but I do remember sitting there and having to face the fact that I was unable to attain my health goals on my own, and seeing myself at the point of needing help was very crushing to my ego. I felt like a failure, overwhelmed and frustrated with myself.

You see, with having an athletic background and being a health care professional, I took great pride in being able to work on maintaining a healthy weight and body no matter the circumstance. However, this was not the case when during the pandemic I worked, pursued another degree and got married. Then shortly after marriage I moved right away cross country to Nashville, Tennessee. Somewhere along the way I just couldn’t manage to get myself back on track. After multiple failed attempts, I realized that I needed help.

And help I did receive. I just want to give a very special thank you to Marty and to trainers Trevor and Aspasia for your pleasant disposition, attention to detail, and just being awesome. To Trevor, a special thank you for ALWAYS challenging me to lift heavier, to strive for perfect form for each rep, and for helping to keep me accountable and honest with my diet. To Aspasia, thank you so much for explaining complex maneuvers in simple forms, knowing when to offer much needed hugs on stressful days and making me look forward to working out on Saturday mornings:) thank you!

The members of 360 Fitness are literally of all age groups, shapes and sizes. It’s a community where we cheer each other along and everyone is there in the pursuit of becoming a healthier and functionally better version of themselves. I look and feel so much better now than I did in the past 2 years and I am looking forward to seeing more transformation.

I am a "senior" who has been increasingly unhappy with the decline in my overall fitness after the last year and a half "on the couch" during and post-Covid. I actually came to 360 via some sessions Marty donated to a not-for-profit's silent auction that I luckily got. Marty, Gabe, and the 360 team provide a very personal approach to the fitness program. The in class workouts are challenging but also are individually tailored based on physical condition, past injuries, experience level, etc. All of the workout stations are staged with weights, benches, bands, etc and the 360 team will guide you through your training session. There is no preworkout planning. As a member you just show up and everything is ready. In my experience the trainer: member ratio is always less than 1:4 and in most cases 1:2 which provides amble opportunity for the trainers to provide individual guidance and direction during the workout. For me, this has helped to increases the intensity of a particular workout or provide movement instruction to reduce the chances of injury. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone. It has been really great for me as a reintroduction to exercising and proper body mechanics.

I hate working out. Not like "I don't care for it" ... I really hate it. Feels like a waste of time, the pain isn't worth the minor results, there's just nothing about it I enjoy.

But in my fifties, and with the doctor's strong recommendation, something had to be done. Numbers were bad, and I got really fat during Covid. 20 pounds heavier than I've ever been, fat.

So, I reached out, and Marty from 360 Fitness called me. He made it sound doable. Baby steps. I went, and nothing was out of reach. He asked about injuries (I had just a couple of very minor ones), and he adjusted my routines accordingly. From the very beginning, it was comfortable, doable. I told Marty upfront that I wouldn't ever enjoy it, but that I was committed for a three months.

Two months in, I was still unsure. I had improved, I was still going, but I still didn't enjoy it. I was committed for another month, but I kept telling Marty that I didn't know whether it would stick. Marty was ok with that. He never pressured... he just kept me doing the exercises, kept pressing me slightly (not far... just slightly) more than I did the prior month.

At three months, something changed. I still didn't enjoy it. But my body became more agile. Outside the gym, I noticed that I walked differently. Every step grabbed the floor. When I bent over to pick something up, I did so with strength, with confidence. I told Marty this, and he said "You've become a workout guy." I said, "I'm not a workout guy. I do appreciate that I feel stronger."

Now, I'm 7 months in. I'm committed for the rest of the year. I still don't enjoy it. As I was leaving tonight, Gabe asked me how I felt. "Not good. But I did it." And I got stronger. My weights increase nearly weekly. Visually, I'm not sure anyone can tell I'm working out (except for 15 pounds down from the Covid fat). But I think Marty may be right. I may be a workout guy. I don't get the endorphins high like some people talk about. I still don't enjoy it. But this feels like real progress.

Marty's program is good. It's very doable, challenging only as I'm ready for it, always aware of physical limitations and injuries. The class camaraderie helps and is supportive, not competitive.

And I don't enjoy it. But I'm doing it, because it works.

There’s plenty of gyms, crossfit cults, fad places, studios, etc., but you won’t find anywhere like 360 Fitness. I guarantee it! 360 Fitness is run by some of the best trainers (and human beings) in Nashville. I regularly go to the group metabolic conditioning classes, which feel like personal training sessions whether there’s 2 people or 12. The trainers do an exceptional job providing personal attention in a group setting. Can you say the same for Barry’s Bootcamp? Probably not. 360’s trainers take the time to get to know YOU exactly as you are. They’ll modify exercises based on your ability, push you when you need it, and give you the encouragement you need to push yourself.

Classes are always challenging, fun, and uplifting--not to mention affordable! I came for the workouts at 360 but I stay for the people. I hate missing classes because I love seeing the wonderful people that train and work there! Your first class at 360 is always free, so why not give it a try? All you have to lose is a little sweat.
