Hi! I'm Andy, a Nashville native and Personal Trainer and Strength Coach. I've been coaching folks in the Nashville area for more than 10 years, serving all ages and abilities. I started working out with Andy about 2.5 years ago and I had never ever done any strength training. I wanted to get stronger and help improve my metabolism through strength training. He has brought me from a newbie not sure what I was doing — to squatting 245, deadlifting 215, doing pull ups, etc — and most importantly - feeling strong and like I can try anything (at least once anyway!) in the gym. Andy listens to your goals and doesn’t do the same thing for every person. He’s a phenomenal coach and just a great human! I have been reading articles about how important strength training is as we age.
I began working with Andy in the Spring and I had no idea how much strength I could attain in 4 months.
Andy is kind, very knowledgeable about how to train and is level headed about creating exercises that work specifically for me.

Andy is well educated in his field and will customize your work out to fit your needs specifically. Great location close to West Meade in Nashville and small and private group workout which is important to me to not be in a large environment. Andy is always very encouraging and will tweak your workout to fit your needs each visit to his gym. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone in the Nashville area.

Andy offers a great environment for individual customization of workouts from the moment you arrive each day. He makes each plan tailored to your goals and helps you maximize your time in the gym while pushing you to constantly achieve new personal bests. His gym offers the ability to workout with 2-3 others which can also help motivate you during your workout. Andy is consistent with his checkins to make sure you feel the workout regimen he put in place for you is what your wanting to focus on. I couldn't be happier with my experience the last five months training with Andy. His gym is clean, orderly, well-maintained, and has an upbeat, fun vibe (check the cool custom art hanging on the walls and the Rihanna and Lizzo playlists!) Andy is the ideal coach – he clearly knows his stuff, takes his role seriously, and is always prepared for each workout – but he's approachable and encouraging, genuine and personable. Unlike so many of the aloof, arrogant meatheads you may encounter at other gyms, he's a legit good guy, and no matter the difference in our body fat percentages, it's easy to build trust and rapport with him. Most of all, it's been a pleasure to commit and see rapid improvement in ability and strength – there are plenty of days where it only hits me on my drive home just how much I lifted and the remarkable progress I've made in only a matter of weeks. I never thought I'd voluntarily commit to 6:00 a.m. workouts multiple times a week, let alone happily get up at 5:20 a.m., but for Andy, I do, and that recommendation should say it all.
