The toilets falling off the wall in a bathroom the door handles are sticky windows dirty floors defintely dirty the place stink and the water smells bad out the fountain. They need nee staff they are rude and the trainers are way out of shape trying to teach more fit people how to get fit the math isn't mathing.

One of the largest and coolest Anytime Fitnesses I’ve been to, and I’ve been to more locations than I can count across the US & Canada. Dedicated bench press rack with a nice thick bench was a nice treat 👌.

If I could give this place a 0 star I would. I just separated from the military been in TN for one week. I came to this gym to let out frustration. I arrived at 1:30. I then noticed that they don't have any staff working from what I thought. They go to lunch 1-2. I pushed buttons on the door while being noticed by a worker(not knowing) I waiting till 2:10 to see that the person who seen me in the door was the manager. As she opened the door I stated. "You seen me" she replied "it was my break" I said it's 2:10 she said I went over my break then proceeded to tell me I couldn't workout, I couldn't receive a tour. Because I was rude. What? This place absolutely needs some management changes I don't understand what I've done to make her so mad. Blows my mind that leadership can even act this way. I would not only never recommend this place. But would strongly recommend higher management to take a look at the positions they give power hungry rude people that do not support our troops!

Honestly, more than likely the best Anytime Fitness in Middle Tennessee, and definitely one of the top Anytime Fitness I have ever been to (been member since 2014, on the road a lot, have been to probably 15-25 different gyms). Very large and expansive for the franchise. Numerous changing rooms, bathrooms, showers. Uncommon amenities including stand-up tanning and hydromassage(both extremely rare in my experience). At least two separate hard wood studio work out areas (again, in my experience, there is usually either one or none.) I was not expecting this kind of superlative experience coming in off the road, and felt it would be remiss not to comment. Bravo 👏

Don't give these people your card!
Be sure your're always checking your account! They're perfectly comfortable turning off your key fob indefinitely, for no known reason. Then they will continue taking your money as if you've been getting something in return. There was no attempt made on the part of the employees to rectify the situation.

I signed up for a two year membership. My membership cost $45 a month with a $75 yearly fee.

Pros: location. Super easy to get in an out of the parking lot. Pretty much right off of I40. Had a studio room to myself in the early mornings and during lunch hours. Theft is not an issue. Everyone is friendly.

Cons: Rarely saw any staff. If I saw staff, they were working out. It is extremely difficult to get ahold of anyone. I had to call, email, and Facebook message them to get my account frozen during the COVID closure. Dirty equipment, floors, and bathrooms. The privacy of the studio room was nice, but the floors haven’t been cleaned in years. Signs posted everywhere threatening to charge customers an extra $15 if they don’t put up their equipment. I thought I could use the massage chairs, but found out that service cost extra. I could look past some of these issues if the price was right, but it is so expensive for what you get.

Okay gym....New ownership and management has let the place decline unfortunately as it is no longer the spotless facility it used to be. Rarely ever see staff around anymore. Was a member here for 12 years. Sad to leave here but when the competition is closer, cleaner, better staffed, much more cost effective, and better equipped, I made the decision to go. I hope they can get the staff, equipment, and condition back to the level it used to be.

Absolutely love this gym. Whenever Im in the area 100%, im stopping through. L A Fitness vibes, but better. Hydro massage, tanning, private showers. I wish I lived near this gym. Dumb bells go to 130lbs, they need to get some 150lbs. I cant say enough about this gym, kid in the candy store.

I signed up for a 12 month contract with this company. Little did I know, there was an “underlying extension” in the contract that I wasn’t made aware of. I ended up getting charged for 15 months and then had a huge problem trying to get them to stop charging my card. Oh, and no refund for the money they took from me for those three months over my contract. Thanks anytime fitness of Lebanon! Such a crooked and criminal way to coarse people into getting charged for more than they wanted. I would take my advice, and stay away from these people. The gyms nice though but a nice gym doesn’t make up for terrible money-driven staff. :)

i would never use this gym. you should consider adding signs stating that there will be a 75$ fine for using the parking lot without having a membership. instead of waiting for people to do this just to get money out of their pockets. be polite not greedy! you'll get more costumers that way!

I love the gym and the environment. HOWEVER it is almost impossible to get ahold of anyone by phone during staffed hours. Need to cancel my membership because I just don’t use it enough to justify the cost. Finally received a text after calling the new membership line saying I need to give a 30 day notice by email and there was no email provided in the text and it’s either not listed on the website or really hard to find.
It really shouldn’t be so hard to get ahold of a business during staffed hours or to cancel a membership.

I like the gym and I like the environment very much. I moved to Georgia about a year ago. I didn't realize I had to go all the way back to Tennessee just to cancel my account. Been here about 15 months. Great and very helpful trainers. Rarely have issues with lacking equipment (can get a bit busy during 430PM-730PM). They have a deadlift area with regular barbell and hexbar. Machines include (not limited to) shoulder press, smith, squat/press racks, calf raises, leg extensions, pec deck, extensions, curls, hamstring curls, leg presses, abdominal crunches, ab twists, treadmills, about 6-8 different kinds of Hammer Strength machines, stairclimber, Jacob's ladder and bike. They've never had any issue with me doing box pushes or any similar moving workouts (just do it away from others). No chalk. Vending machines are always re-filled with different types of supplements. Have never once had any issue with parking. 24/7/365 availability. Highly recommended venue.

I was only going to be living in Lebanon 2.5 months and I originally went to Sports Village b/c it was 5 min from my house while Anytime Fitness is 20 min away but Sports Village wouldn’t work with me in my unique situation but Anytime Fitness did. Clean Gym plenty of work out equipment, the rate is a bit higher than planet but at least you can make some noise. :) they also have a punching bag and a tractor tire. It's not very busy when i go in the early morning at 3 AM. They have Wifi in the building and tv screens on the equipment where you can jack in and really get into your exercise. Nice place clean showers.

*Better and cheaper gyms out there* Really read the fine print. I said I wanted to pay monthly and they never verbally told me they didn't do that. Was under the impression that I could cancel anytime without penalty but wasn't the case. Can't pay monthly, was told when I went to cancel. It's not worth it compared to other gyms. Not really big. Has some good equipment but lacking a lot. *Edit* Planet Fitness is coming to Lebanon. Save your money.

The Lebanon AF is not my "home" gym since I'm from out of state, but I've used that gym while traveling over the past few years. While visiting recently, I had a problem with my key fob not working. The staff at the Lebanon gym replaced the card and made sure it worked for after staff hours. I appreciated them going the extra mile to resolve the problem. They could have said to come during staffed hours and get with my home gym about a new fob. They also have added some cardio equipment and a deadlift area since the last time I visited. Overall its a nice, large gym and not the typical AF.

When I was a member of this gym, I enjoyed my time there. There were numerous workout options for me to choose from and even when it is busy, there is always something to do. My low rating is based on two factors: one is the lack of restrooms/changing rooms. After a decent workout, most would like to clean up afterwards. However, with only one shower per sex and one unisex bathroom, three is far from enough. Secondly, when my personal life cut into my free time to workout, I began paying for a membership I hardly used. When I made the decision to cancel my membership, not only was I being talked out of it by one of the representatives but was shamed when I refused to change my mind. I did not appreciate the tone and candor of the representative and I should not have been disrespected based on a mere financial decision. I have been making changes to allow a workout as part of my daily routine, however I will not be returning to this facility. Don't be afraid to quit because they try to talk you out of it.
