Been going here for a month, the only benefit to this gym is that there’s rarely anyone here, that’s where it stops, limited amount of equipment, and the equipment that is here is all built very oddly, don’t even have a place to do dips and a couple other key compound movements, not worth the $65 a month they wanna charge, not a place you wanna come if you’re actually looking for a gym to consistently go to and enjoy

I love this gym! I was at CAC for a year, didn’t know about this gym, then I was willing to pay for both gym memberships before I moved due to job hours. Easily started only attending battle ground because of the hours, the availability, and the equipment is mint. The owners are SO kind! My only complaint is not even a complaint, love them so much I hope they expand!!! Many times I go, it’s only a handful of people. Even during peak hours, it’s manageable.

My wife cancelled our membership in April and they billed me and sent my payment to collections. I never even personally had a card on file, it was my (then) fiancé’s card on file. They will not respond to emails and their voicemail box is full. Check out operation iron gym or iron 24 for 24/7 gym access.

***response*** everyone can see the way they respond to low reviews defensively with absolutely zero need to reveal my wife’s name on google. The parking lot is often empty and we can see why. I standby my statement to recommend all Clarksville residents to check out the other 24/7 access gyms.

Makes no sense why my name was billed for the first time after the account was cancelled, when the entire time during our membership my wife and I were billed simultaneously. Doesn’t seem to me like they understand the Situation. Maybe some accounting/customer service training is in order for the staff!

Absolutely love this gym! The machines and bathrooms are clean and well maintained. The staff are super friendly and helpful. My only wish is that they had mats for floor workouts and maybe a small area dedicated to that. But honestly that’s such a small issue it doesn’t affect my experience here.

This gym is great. (Tiny Town). So glad my husband found it and I decided to try it. Very neat and clean. The staff is very polite and so are the members. I missed lifting and I am glad I joined. The 24/7 is very convenient and I don’t have to get anxiety about missing the gym due to operation hours. The bathrooms are spacious and have showers.

Signed up to use their services for a temporary membership that can the be credited toward a full membership package. Barcode would not work no matter how I turned my phone or stretched or shrunk the barcode . When you call their voicemail it’s full and when you look on line and try to make an appointment it just takes you to their packages, with no option to actually make any appointment. There is no other contact available so there is no way to use the membership unless I come in between 12-6 M—W-F ? But when I went in to see the gym before for a few minutes they were like broken record… just sign up on line. The members are very nice but say I can’t let you in because we get in trouble for that. I don’t know about you guys but I only have about a half an hour 45 minutes tops after work to start my workout or my motivation completely tanks and after stuff not wording and hearing this is a regular thing they haven’t fixed I can't imagine crediting it towards a full membership. What else doesn’t work right or isn’t clean? Refund please…

Love it here! Amazing quality equipment with a great assortment and very heavy weights too, over 100 pound dumbbells, both chest press and barbell benches, EZ squat bars, regular squat and deadlift bars, smith machine and hack, etc…. So many options, and to top it off with a positive attitude in the staff, clean, nice showers that are private! My only complaint is that i live 15 minutes away!!! The whole thing is a complete scam hidden by the religious aspect. In the fitness industry $25 is considered very high for a day pass, yet at this facility it’s $45. Now I’m sure they’ll tell you it’s to “discourage” certain individuals who may take advantage of an unstaffed gym but market research used by facilities all across the country shows that anything above $10 quickly weeds out people who aren’t serious, so at $20 a person you’d be pretty safe, this is simply gouging. Then a month to month membership where you sign yourself up online comes with an almost $100 “enrollment fee”. Again, you literally sign yourself up. Next the “master certification” the owners hold comes from a service where you can instantly take the exam and take it until you pass, once you pass you pay them and are suddenly a “master trainer”. This would be why nowhere requiring certification for insurance would accept what these individuals hold. Really a shame. Was looking forward to trying the facility but with a little research and knowing what you’re talking about when it comes to fitness, I wouldn’t give these two a dime.

Battleground Fitness is a place of HEALING let me tell you.... I have battled with my weight and mental wellness since having children. I had been praying long before joining this gym which one was the perfect fit, I was embarrassed, ashamed of the place I was in physically and just needed help.. one day on my way to work I stopped to get a Mountain Dew next door to this gym which I never do and saw Battleground.. something just said go check it out mk you have time. I went in and met David, one of the owners. He was beyond welcoming, answered all questions and immediately said.. we all have to start somewhere it’s going to be ok, we got you. That day I signed up with his wife, Kate for personal training. God knew exactly what He was doing.. I am in there 3 days a week and have lost major pounds.. but aside from that IVE LOST BONDAGE AND CHAINS of depression, of anger, of being ashamed. This gym has given ME motivation, the courage to keep going and stay in the battle. This gym has catered to my spiritual walk with the Lord. I have never met owners more REAL, TRUE, STEADFAST in the will and calling God has placed in their lives than Kate and David. Sometimes it is so hard to please everyone owning businesses but what I can tell you is through their walk with the Lord and knowing they will always listen to the Holy Spirit when He says move, I can promise you they leave no stone left unturned. This gym and the ones in it have become my second home. A place where I have found freedom, refuge, a place where I am unashamed. After 5 months, they have my business for life. CALL THEM, WALK IN, YOU WONT REGRET IT!

BGF has everything you need to reach almost any fitness goal you have. Its open 24/7, its locally owned, great owner, great people who go there, and the cleanest gym I have been to (and I've been to a plethora of them).

Philanthropic so they are charging us 45 dollars a month. There is already a 45 dollar fee for upkeep on the gym which I kind of get. My issue with the other fee is the email said nothing about them matching so you’re taking my money to give away? I dunno maybe it’s changed or maybe now they give the money away and my name is mentioned in the donation or they match what they took. But my overall issue with that is I had no choice it just happened which I’m sure in in my contract but I just didn’t like it. Over all I would say if you want to avoid CAC which is the MOST dishonest gym or you don’t want to go to one of the big corporate gyms this is for you.

Everything is clean. People are quiet and mind their own business. A completely different atmosphere than Gold's (for the better).

I've gone different times of the day and have seen no more than 15 people in there at one time. I've never once had to work in with anyone or ask how many sets they have left.

Equipment is well maintained. They have a turf area and a sled along with anything else someone needs to workout.

Great owner, willing to work with you even when your cancelling your account. I had to cancel because I relocated but if it wasn’t for that I’d still be going to this gym. The gym is clean, well kept and has great equipment. I would highly recommend.

P.S I called while my temper was high due to a call from their collection company about the account, when I thought we had settled the account and the owner did not respond in a rude way. In fact, he was calm and even worked with me to

David (owner) is the best! My feet kept slipping on the deadlift platform (it’s wooden and I pull sumo in socks), so I asked David if they had a mat I could lay down to keep from slipping. He went out back and cut a piece of their extra gym flooring to the perfect size just for me to use, cleaned it off, and let me store it inside to use any time I need it. Getting to know the owners and this kind of member service are things you won’t get at a commercial gym, and makes any difference in price more than worth it. Highly recommend!

Usally I am not writing comments on Google, but I want to share my experince with you what happened. For me it was the last time to be in that Gym.
The owner is unfriendly and calling my "Hey Boy" and the best thing was with my contract.

I talked 2 days before how long my contract is working, he told me: 2 days. After 2 days when I went there the chip did not work!
I payed 50$ for three weeks and the cut of one day of my contract.

First off never have I ever written a single review about any establishment, shows I am not a hard person to please. Also, it shows how disrespected my significant other and I have been treated by the owner and its Employees. Second, this gym is far from a “faith based” gym. The owner David Champlin has treated me and my fiance with complete disrespect from the first moment we walked in the gym. My fiance has already given this place a 1* review, then the next morning after writing the review he approached us in regards to that review. Immediately after, he starts to belittle us behind our backs throughout the workout to his employees and other MEMBERS especially. The disrespect and belittlement continues on for months while we are both working out there at the same exact time. When approached about the situation, he played it off as if nothing was wrong, but continued to go behind our backs to his members and employees continuing to disrespect us behind our backs. An incredibly hypocritical move on his part and I’m sure he does this with other members too.
The fact that the owner is so frustrated about the past review that he continued to show us disrespect because we simply expressed our opinions about how you run your facility; Really shows a lot about how hurt your business is doing. This is the real World, people are going to have opinions and you need to suck it up. An employee of his this morning got incredibly fed up with us, for no apparent reason whatsoever, looking like he was trying to threaten us in a physical manner.

I recommend this establishment to anyone who wants to be ridiculed behind their backs, this is the place to go!

This place is somewhat ridiculous. Rules are told to you after they lock you in a contract. No chalk allowed, first gym with this rule is pretty ridiculous. Gyms should know, most people that Are serious are going to use chalk to benefit their workout. Not hard to clean it up when spilt. Also, staff that walks and puts your weights away in the middle of a set is just rude. Most people know what a superset is and can figure when they are not done.

Great place. Very convenient location, most of the equipment that you would ever want, 24 hours, and connected with the Nutrishop next door for supplements and monitoring your BMI. Owners are extremely kind and helpful. Definitely recommend it.

Previous worker for over 2 years. Life has kinda happened and my girlfriend and I are no longer using the membership because of time and it’s just not the best move for us as far as budgeting goes. “Can’t break contract” is what I was told. I understand as a business having a cancellation policy but beware, unless you undergo reconstructive surgery or move over 30 miles away, you will not be able to cancel your membership. Very disheartening. Will not be back.

Love having a faith based gym in our community! Also love that it is 24 hours so that for those who don't have the time during prime hours can go in and still get the workout they want done. Super clean and the equipment is very well taken care of! Deff recommend checking this place out if you live in Clarksville or are around the community!

The first thing I noticed when I arrived was the smell. It didn't smell like rubber and sweat like most other gyms in town. The staff was friendly and greeted us at the door. They explained the 24/7 availability with the fob which was a perk being I have a crazy schedule. Membership fees weren't outrageous, and the equipment was clean and well kept. I would recommend this gym to anyone looking for a great place to lift weights and not have to feel uncomfortable doing so. Great environment!

Great gym ! Quality gear, and best part for me is being able to do the "big" lifts; squats, deadlifts, Olympic lifts on real lifting platforms 24/7, 365 access is the best also!

Joined this gym about 4 months ago. I go regularly and I enjoy this gym over other local gyms for the attitude of the employees, the quality of the equipment, and the fact that they CLEAN the equipment on a REGULAR basis! Gym actually smells very nice, and not like a gym. lol
