I was there for my nieces birthday party and recommend it for any type of kids party. There are plenty of staff to be with the kids to guide them through the obstacles. After time in the gym area the kids are taken to a private party area for cake and food if planned by parent with the business. Nice sitting area for parents to observe kids.

I Believe this is a scam. The kids are often idle with little to no direction. If I wanted to see my kids sit on the floor, we could do that at home for free. My kids stopped wanting to go because they weren't learning anything and the teachers weren't helping them practice or learn anything new. Very disappointing.

The ability to have multiple of my kids in class at the exact same time (but still with their their own age) is so convenient for parents of multiple busy children. The staff is wonderful! The improvement I've seen in my girls maturity and strength is even better than their impressive improvements at gymnastics.

The programs a decent and possibly some of the best offered in the city. This should not be confused with the quality however beyond the region. The training isnβt individualized and is often inequitable. The coaching staff is dedicated however there are not enough trained and skilled trainers to accommodate the teams. The management is close minded and not open to feedback. The gym smells like there is mold in the walls which is totally possible due to the age of the building. Ms Nicki is the absolute sweetest and is amazingly helpful. The best score I could give would be a 2.5 out of 5 due to the level of instruction, available staff, growth opportunities for the competitive gymnasts. The environment however is good for team building within the teams and if the parents were allowed to co-mingle they could be a good support for the gym as a whole

My kid loves classes here and the coaches seem decent. It looks pretty clean... however their online user platform is TERRIBLE and it can be VERY difficult to communicate with staff sometimes.

My experience with Believe was very unfortunate. Coach Myka was great. Very sweet and as attentive as she could be. Her partner, on the other hand, was absolutely terrible. I have never experienced such blatant racism in all of my years. Besides the one coaches attitude towards my daughter, there were just too many students in one class. I can not recommend this place. The facility is nice and most of the staff seems nice, but my daughter aspires to be the next Simone Biles (her words). We donβt have time to waste.

I would give 5 stars for our coach, Harley, and the overall program, but as far as the business side of things? I would give 0 stars. Good luck getting them to answer your phone calls and emails. The front desk ladies are rude and the opposite of delightful to work with and ask questions. The facility is poorly run, and they seem to only care about the "elites." We will be switching to another gym.

Very disappointed. I have had multiple friends leave over staff not watching their children, or working with them in any way. In the middle of class several mothers were voicing the same concerns, and actively looking for another gym. As a business owner, I would want to know if that was the reputation I was getting, and I would also like the chance to correct these behaviors. When I approached leadership, they were extremely dismissive, and told me they had no idea while anyone would feel that way. After discussing my own experience of my children hurting their necks over lack of care, and instruction she finally said she would address it with the coaching staff. I was really hoping they would make the necessary steps to correct these issues not only for better service, but for safety as well. After pulling my children out the staff did not even ask why we were leaving, or if there is anything they could improve on.

Horrible experience. Really poor communication, owners and coaches have a power trip syndrome. No communication is allowed between coaches and parents. Plus 100% money driving Gym. We had the worst experience ever after 3 years first time weβve questioned the administration for a refund, theyβve expelled a hard-working kid out of their gym, without even consider the effect on her dreams and aspiration. If you want your kid to be mistreated this is the place! Coach thinks and acts like she is Abby Lee she is on track on rudeness but lacks talent. Lack of care or understanding towards kids and parents, and if English is your second language beware, they will make no effort to embarrass you because of it, such a shame that we have to deal with this in 2021.

My daughter has been going to this camp for 2 years, and I've been paying tuition every month. She was just asked onto the competitive team this year. In the process of moving we apparently missed the camp payment. I've called the office for days with NO ANSWER!! But I get texts from Erica still about camp. I ask her to call me, but she can't. I ask what I should do and she says they've called and told me to call them this week. I tell her I've been getting no answer THEN SHE SAYS THEY'VE BEEN CLOSED but offering no further resolution. How much sense does this make to tell me I should have called then say I wasn't getting an answer due to today (Thurs) being there first day back!!??? Then they turned my daughter away today as if she was a stranger or as if I haven't been paying all this time!!! Very DISRESPECTFUL AND UNORGANIZED AND NOT THE "CHRISTIAN" ORGANIZATION THEY CLAIM TO BE. Not to mention a few weeks ago a lady upfront basically insinuated I was a liar not wanting to refund the $10 they incorrectly charged me for an extra practice day when the entire facility pretty much knew it was makeup for a canceled practice due to one of the coach's graduation!!! Glad we are moving and my daughter can take her talents elsewhere!!! Won't get another dime of my money. I wish I could call my bank and get the rest back.

The manager was disrespectful to me and made disparaging comments about my child.
My child started attending gymnastics classes on Monday. At the end of the class a coach told my wife that she was out of shape but would do fine. On Wednesday, my wife received a call from the manager of the establishment stating that our child had been disrespectful to coaches over the past three days. The manager also stated that my child should not return. When asked what this disrespect looked like the manager stated that my child rolled her eyes, refused to do what she was asked to do, and said she wanted to do things the way she did them at her old gym. This was very confusing to myself and my wife because this is the first complaint we have ever had concerning our child's behavior from any teacher or coach. I spoke to the manager this morning and she repeated this. When I asked her whether they communicate with parents when they have problems, she stated that they do "when the parents come in." My wife watched part of the class on Monday and saw our daughter doing what was asked. When I asked the manager to describe what the disrespect looked like she said "I'm sure you have seen it at home," and "it is what it is." When I asked to speak to her superior she stated that the owner of the establishment does not deal with day to day operations and there is no one above her.

Great optional gymnastic program . Preventative conditioning is utilized to prevent injuries as much as possible. Good form is taught while building up strong minded athletes. Gym has very good business ethics and you always know what your bill will be.. no surprise billings. Coaches care about the athletes ... quality over quantity. When choosing a gym.. consider River City.

Party rental facility is NOT accessible for the disabled. Was not told in advance of this issue. On Saturday, November 23, 2013, I rented the gym at River City Gymnastics for a birthday party for my son. When we arrived and started unloading our cake and food supplies we were told that the party room was up a long stairway and that there was no other way to access this party room but via those stairs. I am severely disabled with a spinal cord injury and unable to climb stairs per doctor's orders. The 2 workers on duty offered to bring 2 tables down from the party room and set them up in the reception area by the front door. This was very inefficient and crowded. With 15 children in attendance, there wasn't enough room for the food and everyone to sit, much less for everyone to see my son blow out the candles on his cake. Our party was forced to scatter about on the floor and various chairs in the reception area. This was not how I envisioned my son's party to be after spending $200 on a space. When I booked this party, I even informed the person taking the reservation that it would be for special needs/handicapped children. So not only could I not get up the stairs, but several of our party members could not either. No one ever mentioned that the facility was not accessible for the disabled. It is my understanding that it is against federal ADA laws to rent out a facility that does not provide disabled access to all parts of the facility being rented. I sent an email to the facility explaining my situation. I never heard back from them. I followed up 2 weeks later by phone and spoke to Erica, the manager. Basically, I got the run around. I called back again and she wouldn't take my call. I left a message that I would be contacting the BBB, and not surprisingly, got a call from the owner within 4 minutes. The owner had nothing but excuses and wanted to talk 'around' the matter at hand. He never apologized and never offered to make the horrible disappointment right in any way- refund or other. I have since filed a report with the BBB and I have also sent a complaint to the US Department of Justice Civil Rights Division so that this facility can be investigated. I am very disappointed in this experience.
* After I spoke with the owner, they have now added the information to their website that the party room is not accessible. Unfortunately, this does not help our experience.*
