If I could give more than five stars, I would. BIG Five truly feels like family 💚. No matter what class time you show up, you’re welcomed with warmth and support from everyone. That sense of belonging starts with Cindy, the owner and trainer, who has cultivated such an incredible, uplifting environment. She genuinely cares, not just about your fitness, but about you as a person.

Big Five is fantastic, and I love that it’s locally owned! I was looking for a gym after not really working out consistently for 4 years. I was nervous going in but I'm so glad I found Big Five Fitness! Cindy, Madison, and Kayla all push you to be the best version of yourself. If you have injuries and need modifications for certain exercises they will provide those for you. If you're nervous about trying them out, don't be! You will feel welcomed from day 1!

I’ve been a member of several gyms in the area. They were good. However, nothing compares to Big Five!! When I started I had not worked out for 16 mos due to 2 surgeries. I was nervous!! The moment I walked in and was met with Cindy’s hug & big smile that was gone. I felt comfortable and knew this was where I needed to be!! Cindy, Kayla, & Madison are the best trainers you will find. They not only care about your physical health, but your mental health as well! They have been my “counselors” at times. 😊🩷 Big Five is such a wonderful community!! All ages & sizes. It’s for everyone! I’m 59, and when I’m working out with 20 & 30 yr olds…I feel like one of them!

I’ve been a member of Big Five Fitness since day one, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place. From the moment I walked in, I felt like part of a community, not just another gym member. The gym itself is clean and well-equipped, but what really sets Big Five apart is the people.
Cindy, Kayla, and Madison have truly made a difference in my fitness journey. Cindy’s support and guidance have helped me stay consistent, and she always knows how to push me when I need it. Kayla brings so much energy and positivity that I look forward to every workout with her. And Madison—working with her is always challenging. She’s knowledgeable and encouraging, but also knows exactly how to challenge me to get better every session.
What I love most about Big Five is the sense of community. Everyone here is genuinely supportive, from the staff to the other members. It feels like a place where you can grow, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too. The classes are fun, challenging, and always leave me feeling accomplished.
If you're in the Columbia area, I can’t recommend Big Five enough. It’s more than just a gym—it’s a place where you feel encouraged, challenged, and truly cared for. I’m grateful for everything this gym has helped me achieve so far, and I’m excited to keep growing here.

I’ve never been a workout buff nor a morning person, but Big Five Fitness; Cindy, and Madison definitely help get me through it! 💪🏼☀️ I love the diversity in the exercises; I never feel stuck on one thing for too long. 🏋🏻♂️🦁 Cindy’s positive reinforcement keeps me motivated, and Madison always brings the laughs. 🤣 It’s been great getting to know all the other attendees in the classes; everyone is warm and welcoming, but still gives you space if you need it. 🤗
My only complaint is play more Cardi B! Ha ha! 🎶🔥

I was looking for a gym to get back into a routine after over 2 years off. Several girls I asked suggested Big Five Fitness and for good reason. The best gym and atmosphere. I use to work in a gym that provided classes/ I taught classes so I can’t compliment this gym enough for how much I love the programming done and the consideration for modified exercises. It’s got barbell training, dumbbell, kettlebell, and all the good things for functional training. If you’re looking for a gym this place is it. Just started coming here and absolutely love the environment and vibes. Everyone is very welcoming and motivated to see you win. Very goal driven and the workouts are never the same. They have an app to track classes and times throughout the day. For the money you’re not going to find a trainer and workouts 5-6 days a week anywhere else. Facility is clean and Staff is amazing!

Big Five is about the community. It shows through the owner and head trainer, Cindy. She knows how to get you to the next level. Her ability to read people is incredible. I've never had a trainer understand when I am having a lousy gym day and a great one. She knows when you can give more.
Additionally, the people who come to class are full of energy. Everyone wants the person next to them to succeed. Cindy makes sure each week is different so there is no way you get bored or your muscles get used to the workouts. You are just getting stronger and better each day. This place is for everyone, regardless of where you are today.
I started going only because my wife challenged me to go. Now, I go six days a week because it is better than any P90x or cookie-cutter workout I did in the past. I'm not the athlete I once was, but I can tell I am improving. I see it each week when I lace up my skates. So whether you are trying to get in shape, look for a community, or extend your playing career like me, this is the place for you. I promise no day will be the same, and you will walk out better each time than you came in.

Big Five is the absolute best. Whether you’re a beginner in the gym or been working out for years, this is for YOU!! I haven’t done this style of workout since I was in high school and I was terrified to start all over with my fitness goals but here we are. Over a month in and I’m officially obsessed. The workouts are challenging(it’s not supposed to be easy) but the encouragement from Cindy and her other coaches is what keep myself and others coming back for more everyday!! I highly recommend!
