The real deal! You won't find people standing around on their phones. Instead, you will be inspired by people of all shapes and sizes working hard to be the best version of themselves. Please go see them! I train with Dori, who is very sensitive to my bad knee, shoulder, and sometimes elbow, yet I'm still sore from a great workout! Get your butt in there! :)

If you've always wanted to go to a "real" gym, but feared being judged or are embarrassed by how out of shape you are, then you really need to give BPF a try! I didn't get serious about fitness until recently, and decided to start with a personal trainer - Teresa Lacy at BPF. One of the best decisions of my life! I quickly felt at home at BPF. Everyone is so encouraging and no one ever makes me feel like I don't belong there. They've quickly become my gym family:) The classes are challenging and fun, plus they meet you where you're at. Kevin and Teresa are phenomenal, we are honored to call them partners in our American Warrior Military Mission to train the next generation of Military Servicemembers. When we searched for Fitness Centers in Murfreesboro to assist us with a Marine Corps Training event they were the clear cut choice. I’ve been out of the habit of going to a gym for a while and was encouraged by a friend to try Blueprint a few months ago. I absolutely love it! I was a college athlete so I was familiar with some of the lifts, but even if I hadn’t been the coaches work with you well. I love the coaches and the community among the members! So glad to be a part of this group! I’ve been out for surgery recovery the past week and can’t wait to go back!

I feel compelled to share my experience with Blueprint Fitness to provide insight for potential members and to advocate for necessary improvements within the organization.
During my time with Blueprint Fitness, I encountered several significant issues that ultimately led to my decision to terminate my contract:
1. Training and Supervision: The lack of proper training and supervision from coaching staff resulted in preventable injuries, including one specific injury to my shoulder. Despite raising concerns, I received dismissive responses, with the blame unfairly attributed to natural aging.
3. Communication and Transparency: Effective communication is essential for maintaining trust and fostering a positive atmosphere within any organization. Regrettably, Blueprint Fitness fell short in this regard, with a severe lack of communication regarding membership charges and changes to contractual terms. The addition of a gym maintenance fee, handwritten into contracts and communicated only two weeks prior to charging members' accounts via a mass email, was particularly concerning. This lack of transparency created confusion and frustration among members, eroding trust and goodwill.
4. Professionalism: A cornerstone of any reputable organization is professionalism, encompassing behavior, communication, and ethical standards. Unfortunately, my interactions with Blueprint Fitness revealed a noticeable lack of professionalism, particularly in handling member concerns and addressing contractual issues. Despite my efforts to resolve matters amicably, I was met with conflict and ultimately compelled to seek legal assistance for resolution. This experience was disappointing and detracted from the sense of community and camaraderie I initially valued.
In conclusion, my experience with Blueprint Fitness has been marred by significant challenges, including inadequate training protocols, lack of coach supervision, and issues related to contractual transparency. While I acknowledge that efforts were made to address some of these concerns, the overall response fell short of expectations. Moving forward, I hope that Blueprint Fitness will take proactive steps to address these issues and prioritize the well-being and satisfaction of its members.
Ultimately, there are much better gym communities in the Murfreesboro area that I would be happy to recommend. This is not one of them.

I started at BPF several months ago taking the basic barbell class …..I have always exercised in same fashion but have been part of a fitness group focusing on strength training, endurance and motivation 😁❤️…As I get older, I realize I have to stay strong, balanced ( mentally n physically) and being a part of a group with personal trainers who focus on your own personal abilities and strengths. and supports you where you are is so vital to improving your health n fitness!!…We laugh, support, celebrate accomplishments n achievements…and yes..it’s hard..but so worth it!!!

I joined around 2 years ago. Joining a functional fitness gym can be intimidating but BFF truly makes it feel like a family environment from day one. Programming is fun but challenging. I’ve went from dropping almost 25 pounds in the first 8 months to gaining it back in muscle.

I stumbled upon Blueprint a few months ago and cannot write enough praise to sum up my experience. I have been to multiple gyms with similar fitness programs in this area, but have left all of them with a sour taste in my mouth. Kevin and Blueprint however is a rare diamond in the rough. Kevin and Teresa are incredibly friendly and approachable and are always ready to spread their knowledge and kindness. The community and culture they have built is no different. Everyone is extremely welcoming and supportive regardless of your current fitness level. The community is made up individual ranging from grandparents looking to keep up with their grandchildren to athletes seeking to enhance their current level of fitness to the next level. But all members alike socialize through events organized by Kevin and Teresa who are always looking to bring the community closer together. Bearing the risk of sounding like a salesman for the place I have come to call a second home, Kevin's membership prices are extremely affordable given all that is included once you become a part of the Blueprint family. If you look around it is pretty clear the new model in physical fitness is the "boutique" gym, cross fit, or high intensity interval training model. Sometimes this can be intimidating for somebody looking to get into better physical shape. Kevin Lacy removes this fear and anxiety the second you meet him. Whether you prefer a group setting or private sessions, Kevin's education and career in physical fitness aid him in assisting all customers no matter their level of fitness.
I have been a client of Kevin's for going on 8 years and I am not overstating when I say Blue Print Fitness has been a life changer. At going on 40 years old I am in better physical and mental shape than I was at 21.

I have been a member here for close to a year, and this is by far the best gym I have ever been a part of! Great place to build a community of likeminded adults and even teenagers. Age range and ability is a wide variety, and everyone is supportive of one another in learning the right moves and encouraging growth in each other’s weight training and fitness. Have been going for about a year and a half and my confidence has really improved. I was never a morning person before but now I work out almost every morning at 5am. It’s worth the investment in yourself to plug in and get started! I was out for a bit from knee surgery and I couldn’t wait to get back. I was able to modify workouts and come back within a couple weeks, which was great for my mental health.

I'm new to Blueprint but I already feel like it's the place for me. Kevin is a great coach he pushes me to do things he knows I am capable of even when I doubt myself. It's a perfect mixture of strength training and cardio so you are guaranteed to get a total body workout everytime you show up. Everyone I have met so far has been extremely helpful and welcoming. If you tend to walk into a gym with no plan, or are afraid of weights than this would be the place for you. You will hate the pain but love the gainz!

I’ve been a member here for over 4 years. I love this gym. The best part of it is the members. It’s a close knit group of people. Kevin does a great job at programming the classes to always be different and to keep everyone challenged. In a nutshell, this gym has changed my life. It's much more of a community than it is a gym. This isn't just a place to go for fitness, it's a place to go knowing you'll have a whole family of friends that are like-minded in fitness, health, nutrition and mental health as well. People will keep you accountable not just because they want your money, but because they care about you, and notice when you've been absent.
Beyond that, if you're looking for a type of fitness to improve your entire, daily life, this is the place! If you have limitations, DO NOT fear!! There are modifications for everything! I've even gone and had the coach write me an entirely different work out because I wanted to go but had an injury that effected that days workout. You'll get assistance for every need you have. Want to gain more muscle? this is the place. Want to lose weight? this is the place! Want more flexibility? that too. Want to learn how to eat for your body type and specific goal? DEFINITELY THAT!

I’m so thankful I was brave enough to walk in this gym almost 3 years ago. It took seeing many BPF success stories to finally get me to try it. Since then I’ve been hooked. I joined BPF in February of 2021. I had lost 60 lbs with diet and walking on my own but found myself in a rut, weight had plateaued, I had no energy, and felt very weak carrying around my 1 year, etc. I had literally never done anything in a gym other than walking on a treadmill or using an elliptical because I thought that was what was good for me! 10 months later (after lifting a barbell for the first time ever) I can deadlift 165# and back squat 175#. I have so much more energy! I still modify a lot of things we do in our workouts but I’m working my way to no mods (one day!) Our gym is open to all skill levels, for real! Highly recommend BPF to help you reach your fitness goals! Dropping a little before/after my first (almost) year!

Blueprint Fitness is the best gym fam I didn't know I needed! I joined in the summer of 2020, with the intent of finding a smaller group setting for my workouts. My journey began 4 years ago. I walked in never having done any type of exercise other than running. I was not only made welcome by Kevin but also by the rest of the members! Kevin and his staff are knowledgeable, caring, fitness professionals who will meet you where you are in your fitness journey, take the time to understand your goals and partner with you to reach those goals.
All you need do is show up. Everyday there is a different, scalable workout to challenge you. There a multiple classes per day. There are special strength programs, Macros...
It's as close to a Personal Trainer "feel" as possible in a group setting. If you want one on one training, that's available too!

I love Blueprint and Kevin. I’ve been in and out of gyms for over 20 years (mostly at the bigger chain gyms) but there’s something special about this place. It has a family/ community feel and because of that, you’re left with accountability which will keep you coming back and on track. Kevin does a great job pushing and coaching members to their fitness goals. We use an app to track the workouts so we can keep up with our progress. And if you need a modification he can help with that too. Great place if you’re looking for a fun, yet challenging, family feel gym. Workouts line up with most CrossFit style fitness although it’s not a CF gym. I found my spot 💪🏼

Do not get yourself tangled up with this gym and their "contracts". I went here for over a year and brought along many friends from other gyms. After an injury, I stopped for 3 months after fulfilling my first contract. When I came back after the injury, I was told to sign a new contract at $79 a month for a year. When the classes changed and became physically too hard for me and the previous trainer, Kevin, no longer instructed the classes, I decided to leave. I paid the $299 early termination fee but was still served with a legal threat to sue to me for an additional $79. Not worth your time or hassle, there are much more affordable options in Murfreesboro. This place is out to make a buck and rape your wallet when you decide its not the place for you.

I first met Josh Jarmin over 6 years ago. He had such passion and enthusiasm for healthy living (i.e. eating habits), fitness, proper technique and overall regular exercise. It was hard not to get motivated around him when he would talk about his personal journey with fitness and well-being. Due to the fact that I was a long time LA Fitness member and I worked and lived farther then I'd like to Blueprint Fitness, I just never enlisted in any courses or tried his 1 month trial.
2017 was a year of changes for the better so when I saw Josh post his Transformation Challenge for January, I didn't hesitate to sign up. At this point in my life, I was ready to make the extra 15 mile drive to his gym from my new workplace to learn everything I can about kettle bell training and overall strength training. The $$ cash reward incentive of course was also a motivator but I really just wanted to get back into exercising regularly. Totally guilty of my good genes and my height, I only worked out when I "had the time." Of course, I could make time for exercise but like some people, I let work and social stresses and excuses get in the way.
I took my very first group ex. class at 7:30 pm EST earlier this week and was truly challenged. Sure, I'm typically a "cardio queen" but this one hour session definitely pushed me to my limits. During each exercise, I looked forward to building the strength and endurance to complete each session without approaching borderline exhaustion. Never did I think strength training could be "fun" but Josh Jarmin made it that way and now I'm hooked! His professionalism during class and desire to make sure we are always using proper form and techniques during our kettle bell training makes me feel secure that I'm learning it right the first time!

And the best part is that the entire staff at Blueprint Fitness are highly trained, educated fitness professionals that care about properly training you on technique and form. They are the most positive, supportive and motivating trainers I've worked with thus far!
