Brad keeps it simple and focused. I was never good at golf, but am now making steady progress. Every lesson is consistent with a priority on mastering the fundamentals. I’ve been playing golf for 50 years. Have taken lessons from many different professionals both those that are PGA certified and those that aren’t. Far and away Brad is the best teacher I have ever encountered. His lessons are concise and easy to implement. His use of video both during the lesson and being sent to you afterwards, are very helpful to me, as I am more of a visual person. I don’t have to remember all the keys that we go over during the lesson because I can view it anytime I want. The drills he provides are practical and effective. Not sure what else I could say to encourage you to give him a try. At the beginning of lessons, there was a detailed questionnaire to help both Brad and I identify the areas I want/need to work on. We are working together to get my handicap from 17 to below 10. Progress is being made. I have gone from a weak slice to a straight or slight draw.

Brad has great knowledge of the golf swing and a keen ability to analyze and correct swing flaws. A big part of my issues was my backswing which he fixed in a few minutes. In addition, and like so many other amateurs, I was overusing my shoulders and underusing my hands and arms. I continue to work on the last issue with great results. I have had the extreme pleasure of working with Mr. Redding since 2008. My wife and I attended a 3 day school with him at Grand Dunes Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC. I have continued to take lessons from him intermittently for the past 14 years, most recently traveling from my home in Southeastern VA to Hat Creek Golf Club located in Brookneal, VA. For the record, this is a 7 hours round trip journey, WELL WORTH the travel. I recently retired, and so I am now able to make the trip at least 3-4 times a year. I have been fortunate enough to attend clinics and lessons from some of the most notable teachers in golf (Jim Hardy, Jimmy Ballard, to name two). I have chosen to continue to take my coaching from Brad, based on his experience (studied under Jim Hardy, Hank Haney, numerous others), his ability to explain flaws in simple to understand terminology, and the consistency of his teaching and methods. He utilizes video at every teaching session to allow in depth explanation of correct swing plane, impact position, and ball flight. His instruction regarding short game has saved me countless strokes. I have won my clubs team match play event twice, and the most improved golfer award once, based on Brad's instruction. My wife continues to receive compliments for her swing and short game, which is the same verbatim swing taught to her by Brad in 2008.

I came to Brad as a brand new golfer, not having played a round and not even being able to consistently get the ball in the air. After only two lessons, Brad has me making consistent contact and being able to self correct my ball flight.

While my lessons were only scheduled for an hour, both times Brad spent nearly 2 hours with me until what he was trying to teach me to work on was fully comprehended. He also sent me home with a video summary of our lesson and a very simple drill to improve on what we worked on.

Brad is an incredible coach and an extremely good value! I can’t wait to go back after I get a few rounds under my belt and a new list of things to work on!

I have been a student of Brad's since 2011. He is a very "hands on " teacher who will make sure that you have the proper feel for the correct swing plane. He will give you take home drills as well as the recorded lesson on video to reinforce the learning. He has really helped my short game proficiency and given a tremendous lift to my putting. Brad is an outstanding teacher of the game we call golf. I was struggling with iron play and decided it was time for help. I’ve known Brad for years and trusted my game with him. Just after one lesson it was amazing the difference he made in my game. I was impressed at his method of just taking one area and refining that and no more. I am in the midst of the 6 lesson series, which i recommend, you can’t do much in just one or a couple of lessons. I have learned that moving forward I need to see him at least twice a year for tune ups and making sure I’m not regressing.

When I first started with Brad, I had been playing and practicing consistently for months and I wasn't getting better. After my first lesson with Brad, I noticed significant improvement. After my fourth lesson (which I took not even 3 months after the first), my swing was completely changed.

Brad made golf fun for me again. His teaching style combines both swing feels and video analysis. He will not just tell you tell you where your deficiencies are, he will show you and give you specific practice points/drills to correct them.

On top of all that, he is a great person with a great respect for the game. He's seen me hitting balls when I'm not taking a lesson, and taken time to watch me hit a few and help me.

I'm a new golfer who signed up for Brad's Player Development Program at Dead Horse Lake in March of '18. I was not sure what to expect out of the program, but I've been blown away by Brad's personal attention, hands-on instruction and numerous tips that have helped my game improve. Brad's PDP program is hands-down the best golf lesson value in the state of TN, if not the entire US. His one-on-one lessons suited to each individual's skill level are fantastic, but here's the best thing about Brad. If I'm out on the range or around the course on my own time, Brad goes out of his way to stop by and check on me, tune my swing, and ask me how things are going. Brad is an exceptional swing coach/instructor but even more so, an exceptional person! I’ve known him for many years going back to attending a half-day golf school. I realized then he is one of the best you can find! Of course, his resume speaks for itself but until you meet someone and work with them, you don’t know if they’re the right instructor for the individual. Fast forward many years and my son wanted to improve his swing to better his junior game! Thankfully, Brad was splitting time between Myrtle Beach and Knoxville. So, it made my choice easy! He’s worked with my son for a few years now.
