This place can’t keep employees or restaurants in their “Patio” section of the building. Says enough about how things are ran!

Mainly went because we love Project BBQ. Great concept, except it seemed like you had to be a member to play but was fun watching from upper patio while we ate.

At the bar side, they need to improve service to have more business. The staff are just not friendly. They need professional training to be welcoming.

I have been trying to play pickle ball for a few years. I have taken lessons a few times and I learned a lot but today I took a lesson at Bristol Sports Plex from Alex Rush and he watched me and he showed me how I could hit my shots in just a couple of small changes in how I approached the ball (small changes but large results) so I could understand it once I left the Plex !!
Alex Rush is highly recommended !!

The Bristol Sportsplex is a true gem. It is hard to find a place that offers this much and is managed so well. This is not just a place to work out and play pickleball, but a fully functional complex that is capable of hosting high-level tournaments and events. The entire complex is very well maintained and staff is beyond helpful. Court and field quality is among the highest weve played on. It's obvious that the leadership cares about culture and standards.

One of the best places to play Pickelball, have a great bite and a drink but all with the family! The place is clean, professional, super fun and so warm. Literally cannot wait to come back to Bristol for this place alone.

We really enjoy Bristol Sportsplex. Our distance away doesn't allow us to visit as often as we would like to, but we go when we can. We are very thankful to have a facility like this in our area. We encourage all that will to participate and keep supporting them.

We stopped by to watch the Xfinity Race while in town. The most comfortable bar seats I ever sat in, is an understatement! The pizza was so good, the sauce was mouth watering! Pool tables and cornhole boards to play inside. The staff was so friendly….we will be back again!

been going here every night for a few nights, never had an issue to play pickle ball. we’ve been using the one court and tried to go play the other night and some guy ran us off because he said we had to pay for every court. said that nobody was allowed to play without paying. used to love this place. was nice and fun to go to. will not be going here anymore after that guys attitude. very rude worker.

Matt G is a very good coach! I’ve taken several lessons from him and learned so much about racquet sports. I highly recommend his services to anyone who wants to become a better player or learn how to play tennis, pickleball, or table-tennis! And visit Bristol Sportsplex. The place has really got it going on!!

This place is awesome. The people are awesome, facilities are great and always expanding... but the real draw are the coaches/employee's. Matt Gandy is incredible. I cannot say enough great things about how he coaches, how he interacts with all levels. He's my pickleball coach! Within 4-5 lessons never touching a pickleball paddle, he had me in league and a 3.5 dupr rating! Same goes for Jared Regan - My daughter and I are taking tennis lessons with him (and she did a camp). Then we met Alex and he has also been so great in a few combined lessons with other students. I couldn't recommend these 3 enough. I'm a coach myself and have been playing high level competitive sports for over 35 years. I'm highly impressed with everything all around!

I have been taking singles pickleball lessons with Alex Rush at the Bristol Sportsplex and he is doing a fantastic job! He provides great instruction and does a great mix of theory and practical application in our lessons. He always pays attention to how I play and has great suggestions to help me improve. I highly recommend Alex as a pickleball instructor if you are trying to move to the next level in your pickleball adventure.

Matt was fantastic! I have never played a raquet sport. I am hoping to learn enough about pickleball to be able to play with friends. After one lesson, Matt helped me improve some of my basic skills such as serving, dinking, …. and, I left my lesson feeling a sense of accomplishment. I would highly recommend a lesson with Matt. He is patient, and informative.

Staff are like family. It’s a great place to learn and play pickleball, soccer, ping pong, cornhole, and tennis! And after exercising, The Patio next door is a great place to relax, replenish, eat healthy food, line dance, and listen/dance some nights to live music! And of course, your favorite beverages! As soon as the outdoor, 2-story patio is completed (well before pro pickleball tourney 15 August), you will then be able to order “American Grease” (which I crave as well). Burgers/fries/etc cooked on an outdoor gas grill, just like at home (I also love charcoal grilled my house, when I get unlazy and cook!). So if you are like me, always trying to lose weight, try my dish I like there, I’ve named “The Usual”: celery, ranch dipping sauce, ice water and smoothie. The staff at The Patio/Plex WANT you to enjoy your experience, and will do their very best to see that happens! ❤️

I attended the CASA pickle ball tournament over the weekend, and I must say I was so very impressed with Bristol Sportsplex!! The passion of the staff for raquet sports is so contagious! They will be hosting The Pro Tour of Pickleball in August! The positive impact this will have on Bristol is going to be amazing! I will be going back to play! Y'all gotta check them out! Especially if you have an interest in playing or watching Pickleball.

New here. Just joined four days ago. Quite obvious pickleball is huge here. I'm sure my family will eventually be playing it. We joined for the indoor/outdoor tennis courts and workout facility. The gym is smaller than my normal gym. Plenty of equipment. Love thy neighbor because you're gonna be close to them when working out. In a separate room there are three treadmills and maybe two or three bikes. Its a long narrow gym so don't expect a larger chain gym. It is super clean and all equipment is new and well maintained.

The Gold Membership is your best bet for a family. After TN Tax, it is $103.79 for the initiation fee and $103.79 for the first month.

With a Gold Membership, it's $7.89 to reserve a tennis court per gold member. Non members pay maybe $20 plus tax each to reserve. So for singles, it was around $17 for two of us to reserve a court for one 1.5 hours with the Gold Membership. Pickleball courts are cheaper, maybe $3 or $4 plus tax with the gold membership.

It is not 24 hour access. Gym is available from 6 AM to 11 PM. Courts can be reserved starting at 9am until 7:30 pm.

Each staff member we have had the pleasure of meeting has been super kind and knowledgeable. We received a tour, got ideas on upcoming classes/tournaments and took time to watch some games from the upstairs sitting area (The Half Pub).

I am excited to reserve the salt therapy room and the red light sauna. My only disappointment thus far is that my 15 year old daughter suffers from eczema and salt therapy is supposed to help, but even with a parental waiver agreement, you have to be 18 to reserve either room.

Long review, but hopefully I have answered some questions that weren't quite clear on the website. All in all, Bristol Sportsplex is a fun place, is it certainly clean, the staff is great, and I'm excited to see what the future holds for the continuing expansion.

Best place to start your pickleball adventures. Beautiful facilities. Courts both indoor and outdoor. Staff is kind and enjoys spreading the pickleball love. For those who want to go to a next level experience, they offer mixers, social play, dupe rating weekly play as well as league, team leagues and tournaments. Special events? Got that too. Ie. … “the dunks of hazard” where you can wear your daisy dukes or Jory’s while playing two hours of rotational partner pickleball. Great instructors who are professionally certified.

I have not been able to find a fiber tennis facility in the area and I plan to look no further. The head pro is very knowledge and can help improve anyone's game. The indoor courts are top notch and there are plenty of outdoor courts to pick from. Well worth the money and they have a gym you can workout in as well!

I was part of the Tennis Community for more than 20 years in the Tri-Cities. I have played tennis at this facility multiple times. You cannot find better place to play or nicer people to play tennis with in the area! I have taken tennis lesson from both Steve Brooks and Brad Pippin. They both are wonderful teachers and players. If you are looking to get into the game of tennis this is your place. It is a great place to start your young players too! Tennis is a great game for life and this is a great place to start! Thanks Brad and Steve for putting up with my two left feet all those years ago!
