British swim school of Cleveland has changed the game for our family. We have had swim lessons elsewhere and it was a very traumatic experience for my son. The teacher was not compassionate or kind and pushed him too hard. He never enjoyed it which led us to eventually withdrawing. We were searching for a place like this in town and are so happy to work with Mr. Raymond. Mr. Raymond is very patient and empowers my son by respecting his wishes when he’s had too much of one exercise. He is able to pivot and build his confidence in ways that only an experienced teacher can. He is very patient and takes his time to show and explain new concepts so he understands before asking my son to attempt it. This is an ideal learning environment for my son and I would recommend British swim school to anyone.

My daughter has been in the program for a month. This program makes sure she is safe and comfortable in the water starting from the basics. She has been in many swimming programs and this one is unique. The class size is small so that is a great benefit. Right now she is one-on-one. There is a parent portal that makes it easy to communicate and pay, change schedule for absence. Since I'm in Georgia this is a closer location vs other Chattanooga areas. They care so much about safety that they've cancelled class if it looks like the weather would make driving to the location dangerous. Class can easily be rescheduled.

We have been attending swim lessons for a few months now, and we have been extremely satisfied! Raymond is fantastic to work with. His priority is not just safety, but to also instill confidence in each of his students! My children have learned to be safe and truly enjoy themselves in the water. We no long have an aversion to water in our faces, and we have learned to be confident in the water! This program has also taught my children to challenge themselves and reach their goals! We hope to continue and graduate from the entire program!

My husband and I gave swim lessons to our 2 year old grandson for his birthday. He loved the classes and really enjoyed all the instructors. The class size was very small so he received plenty of attention. He’s taking a break for a few months but he will be back for sure. We were very pleased with British Swim School.

One of the best decisions we ever made was choosing British Swim school in Chattanooga with teaching our children to be comfortable around water and most importantly learning water safety. Our toddler was afraid of water wouldn’t get in a pool without being held 2 1/2 months after being here at British Swim school he is jumping in the water, floating and going completely under, has also learned how to safely get himself in and out of the water. Our infant is already bumped up one class and can go underneath water without fear and loves the water now as well! I would recommend them to absolutely anyone who ask. Having Fun while learning is always great for children and they will definitely accomplish that at British Swim in Chattanooga!!

If you want to learn survival swim techniques while having fun I definitely recommend this swim school, Raymond is great ! very knowledgeable personable professional and caring. The staff is fantastic, my son isn’t a fan of water but these professionals have made him very comfortable and confident with the water and himself. My baby started his classes when he was 5 months old, He is hte HAPPIEST BOY in the word. Everytime we get to the pool he jumps with excitement. His instructor are so nice and always taking care of him. At his 8 months he is very confident being in the water even without me. BEST PLACE EVER.

Both of my kids have been attending the British Swim school for about two months now. My oldest has learned so much in such a short amount of time. Each class she becomes more and more confident in the water. We had to take my son out due to his health and Raymond was very accommodating which was a relief. We’ve had the BEST experience at British Swim School with my four-month old grandson! A calm, easy, gentle approach to swimming lessons. No “sink or swim” here!

The qualified instructors care about the baby and eagerly cheer him on to safety & swimming success. The learning activities are presented in a fun, systematic & thoughtful process engaging both sides of the brain, and proven to make swimming safe for an infant.

I’ve also joined my grandson to better my personal water skills and found the British Swim School approach to adults to be incredibly helpful, respectful, and encouraging.

We’ll both be set for summer’s swimming fun in just a few months.

As a follow up to this review: he is 16-months-old now and loves the water just as much as he did at four months! No fear. Always laughing and playing and splashing. Great work, British Swim!

Both our girls attend British swim school. All of the staff is nice and friendly for kids. What we like most about British swim school is progression according to skills. We don't have to wait for certain period of time to get into next level. Overall kids love to go there and enjoy learning with them. I did not learn to swim as a child which makes it hard to learn as an adult. Raymond and Brooke are amazing teachers. They are both very patient, encouraging and trained to understand the unique difficulties faced by adult swim learners. They teach survival techniques to build confidence. They are very good at explaining the ‘why’ behind the techniques to make it easier and more intuitive to follow. My experience with British Swim School has been beyond amazing! I love the way the staff supports, encourages and teaches the swimmers how to be more water acclimated! I am so glad that I chose British Swim School to embark such a significant journey in my life. I was a person who was scared of water although loves to play with water. I avoided all possible swim learning opportunities throughout my childhood but now at the age of 30, I wanted to come out of that fear. Its just been a month with British Swim School, I am so happy that I feel so comfortable in water. The instructors are awesome, very kind and patient, very caring that they understand each student's chemistry with the water and then start working on it. The perfectly big enough (at least for me personally) pool size is another comforting factor. Sometimes, I can't believe myself that I am actually floating on water. I needed some help with my form to train for a triathlon. The instructor, Brooke, really helped me a lot with my crawl, breast stroke, and taught me how to do a flip turn. Staff were very helpful, especially Raymond, who got me set up in the right class for my skill level. I would definitely recommend for children/beginners, as well as for anyone just looking to make adjustments to skills you may already have.
