We enrolled our 5 year old daughter in British Swim school 6 months ago and she absolutely loves it. She learnt essential survival skills and has progressed to the next level. The staff are amazing and very responsive. Having tried other swim schools, we appreciate the quality, flexibility, and great environment this place offers. Highly recommended!

I love the instructor, Olivia! My Daughter can get too excited forgetting to listen, but Olivia is so patient and kindly redirects her to get back on track. My Daughter always has a hard time leaving at the end of each lesson!

We’ve had a great experience with British Swim School for my 3 children of different ages and swimming skills. I appreciate that there are clearly spelled out milestones in each class to build skills needed to continue improving safety and/or technique. It’s also a fun environment and my kids really enjoy going to swim lessons!

Our 6 year old son has been going to British Swim School for 2 years. He has progressed from learning to float and survival skills to learning the advanced butterfly and breast strokes. We’ve been doing private lessons for a while now, but the group classes are great too and there are only 4 kids in a class. The coaches and management communicate well and so are patient and friendly. Our son is so strong in the water and we thank British Swim School for his success!

My 5 year old son has been attending British Swim School for the last six -seven months . As a result of the wonderful environment at British Swim school - excellent and cheerful teachers, warm water and positive, child-oriented atmosphere - He quickly learned to love the water and feel entirely at home in the pool. He has learnt floating and he is nearing to swim by his own.

We have been attending the Nashville location of BSS. We've had an excellent experience so far. Coach Noah and Coach Elena are friendly and gentle with my child who was terrified of the water. In just a few sessions, she went from crying and wrapped around my leg to easily getting into the water. We still have more to learn but it was a significant improvement and I'm looking forward to her ongoing practice.

The coaches and directors are all great! We’ve been bringing our kids their for over a year and love it. First started lessons to reduce the risk of drowning and my then 22 month old and almost 3 year old were able to float safely within a couple of months. They both love the water and I know they are much safer around the pool because of the British Swim School

We tried three other local swim programs before coming to the British Swim School with our 3 year old. After our first class, the school's organization, teacher quality, and method of teaching highly impressed us. Our daughter's fear of submersion quickly dissolved with the gentle encouragement from her teachers, and she is now flourishing in her water survival skills. We are so impressed with how quickly she is learning and moving through the sequence of swim skills. We would recommend British Swim School above any other program in the area!

It took me a while to find an adult swim class. British Swim School had the right price and a convenient schedule. The classes were "group," but there were never more than 3 people in the class. The instructors were great! I enjoyed my experience.

We’v had a great experience here. Our preschooler is very slow to warm up but they’ve been so patient and accommodating. We have the same coach each week to build trust and relationship. They teach skills but they also create confidence. Water safety skills are worth every penny spent and their weekly lessons are so helpful. I anticipate we will still be here when she’s older and learning strokes for swim team!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. My 8 year old daughter went from hating the water to jumping in with the other kids in a matter of a few weeks. Everyone is super friendly and patient. It will be one of the best things you do for your child. Teaching water safety while having the most fun is what they are all about. Very highly recommended!!

Our daughter has proven to learn well in small groups or private lessons, but other swim facilities in the area failed to provide consistent scheduling - and more importantly to our daughter, consistent swim instructors.

British Swim School was suggested by a community parents' group and we are SOOOOO glad we joined! The price point is perfect, they have an online payment and scheduling system. Make-up classes are super easy to schedule.

We absolutely love their approach to water safety and swimming foundations first. If your kiddo falls in, they will know how to float on their back from the start! It makes me feel so good knowing that she will have these basics under her belt. And watching the children just a few levels above her swimming laps like pros makes me even more excited to see what she is capable of.

The owners and instructors are all extremely caring and approachable. They know all the children's names. It is just a very welcoming and family-oriented environment. We cannot recommend this school highly enough!

This is the best school for babies and toddlers for swimming. I doubted that my little one could learn the skills but in about eight months she could “fall” in and flip over under water and float on her back alone. She has no fear when it comes to water and they are so patient and understanding of her “twos.” They really got to know us and they felt like friends!! Love it highly recommend!

We enrolled our toddler back in April and she’s been doing great under the guidance and experience of all the instructors. We love the personal attention she gets even though she is in a group setting. We started at 19 months. She is now a little over 2 years old and we’ve seen her more confident and she has already learned so much! We are very pleased with the entire staff and their teaching techniques. Highly recommend. Our only recommendation is that they open a school in Rutherford County :)

This place is poorly managed. There is no consistency with instructors and there is a problem with communication between staff. My daughter was scheduled for a make-up class tonight that didn’t even exist even though I had an email confirming the time. This is not the first issue we have had. I would recommend you find another place.

We have been thrilled with the progress our son has made in the British Swim School program! If you are looking for a program that combines skills and confidence for your child without harsh techniques, this is it. Your child will be safer in the water from the very first lesson.
