My daughter started at Clarksville Elite Gymnastics Center when she was just 18 months old, and she has been in love with gymnastics ever since. She competed on the team for many years and even graduated high school while still competing on the optional team. Her banner proudly hangs at the gym as a reminder of her hard work and dedication.
The coaches for the team are phenomenal. They may seem tough at first, but it’s clear they love the girls as if they were their own daughters. The owner is an amazing man who truly cares about the gym and every gymnast on the team. He is always eager to help in any way he can.
I wish Clarksville Elite many more years of success both in future competitions and as a business. This gym has been such a positive part of our family’s life!

Recently, we switched over to Clarksville Elite Cheer Center! We have been so incredibly happy with the organization and professionalism of this program. The director, Mariah Hayes, has always responded to questions promptly and has been INCREDIBLE with my daughter! She is a wonderful director and coach and we are so excited for what is to come from this program!

We had an incredible experience here for my son's 7th birthday party. Highly recommend. For the amount of children included and the activity, the price is one of the best I found in town. Not only that, but the party helpers (Joshay and Brady) were incredible and so friendly! They helped me set up, they entertained and supervised the kids, helped in the party room with handing out food and drinks and they also did majority of the clean up for us. The amount of time for the party was PERFECT. I really have zero negative comments for the party option here!

My daughter loves gymnastics but not gymnastics here. Besides coach Abby I feel like since we’ve started this place has become a gym factory instead of working on the ethics and to the priorities of a child learning goals. My daughter is in hot shots and can’t even progress to a cartwheel because she’s not getting enough attention. Certain coaches favor children in class and seem to favor what they are doing over others and I’m sick of it. I’m not paying your gym to see my daughter upset at some of your coaches FAILING her. I’m paying your gym because my daughter has goals to do gymnastics to lead her into competitive gymnastics meets and competitive cheer. If things don’t improve I’m going to seek another gym. For the prices you charge you should work harder on coaching your staff to make the dreams of our kids and their goals a priority. You’re not our children’s babysitters.

When enrolling your child in a long-term sport like gymnastics, the facility needs to understand your goals. Whether you aim for gymnastics to become a lifelong pursuit for your child (possibly leading to a career) or you want them to develop specific skills to enhance their performance in other sports, clear communication of these goals is crucial. I had high hopes for Clarksville Elite Gymnastics Center, but after re-enrolling my four-year-old in their gymnastics programs and finding that my expectations were not met, I quickly realized that this center was not the right match for her.
⇢ Kindergym and Mighty Mites Program:
▸ A major concern of mine was the frequent changes in the "coaches" assigned to the classes. One week, my child would have one coach, and the next week there would be someone entirely new instructing the class. For young children, having consistent teachers is essential because it helps build a strong, secure relationship with a reliable adult. This stability is crucial for their emotional development, fosters trust, allows for a better understanding of individual needs and supports overall learning by providing continuity in the classroom environment. I observed that the coaches hired for gymnastics instruction often had the expertise to teach the sport, but they lacked the skills necessary for effectively working with young children. It is essential to have teachers who understand how to teach younger kids because they recognize this age group's unique developmental stages and learning styles. Such teachers can tailor their instruction to meet the children's needs, engage them through play-based learning, and create a supportive environment that encourages exploration and curiosity. This approach ultimately leads to better learning outcomes and lays a positive foundation for future education. The coaches my child had for Kindergym and Mighty Mites did not exhibit the level of assertiveness or corrective guidance I hoped for. Additionally, I sensed that they lacked the necessary skills to effectively teach toddlers, who learn differently than older children who grasp and follow instructions more easily.
⇢ Billing/Pricing
▸ As a business owner, I understand that service increases can happen from time to time. However, as a parent, I pay good money for my child to learn the fundamentals necessary for progression in gymnastics, and I expect that to be reflected in the programs offered. The recent tuition increases from $88 to $97 does not correspond with the conditions of the younger programs. Students are not receiving more practice time, nor are they getting permanent coaches, among other issues. I called to request a detailed breakdown of the monthly fees to understand how my money is being spent. When I spoke with the young lady at the front desk, she informed me that they do not have a price breakdown, and that participants' payments contribute to the facility's current needs. She mentioned that the facility is in the process of constructing a second building, which is why the price increase was implemented. I completely disagree with parents being charged more when the facility chooses to pursue upgrades, especially when participants continue to receive the same services as before the tuition increase.
The first time I withdrew my child from Clarksville Elite Gymnastics Center, it was due to specific concerns. Unfortunately, I was swayed by appearances and decided to return her, but the issues that prompted my initial departure remained unchanged. When it comes to gymnastics or any program, I enroll my child in, I expect her to gain the most from the experience, supported by coaches, teachers, and staff who are well-trained to provide the best instruction possible. I put in a lot of effort to ensure my child can participate in this sport, and I expect her to absorb as much as she can during her time there. This includes having coaches who are willing to teach, enforce discipline, when necessary (ensuring my child doesn't disregard their guidance), and correct her when she makes mistakes.

My daughter has been enrolled for about one year. She’s completed kindergym to mighty mites and just moved to hot shots. We’ve had such a great experience here. She absolutely loves Coach Bridget and Coach Josh, honestly all of the preschool coaches are wonderful. She looks forward to gymnastics every week and we’re so thankful for all that they do!

My daughter (8) started August of 2024, in the Monday 4:15 class she has had numerous coaches since she started. I think for the last 2 months she’s had a consistent coach. I got her into gymnastics because she started watching Anna McNulty and learned incredible flexibility and most flips besides the aerial and backflip. She started in bronze, I expected her to move up pretty fast because most the things they are learning she already knows. I watched her meet the expectations every single practice and she was still on bronze I have no idea why. To pay this type of money for them to teach her what she already knows is frustrating, literally everyone from her old class had already moved on to silver 3 -4 months prior to date! Finally I went and talked to the head couch Christa I think is her name and she tested my daughter, to no surprised she is finally on silver. However, I did not appreciate her unprofessionalism, she seemed annoyed that I asked for my daughter to be tested (she had 3 stars to go before being moved to silver) she then proceeded to walk to the coaches and said something at which they all looked at me and started laughing. Do better! you’re way too old for bullying and to be in a leadership position and act in this manor is very unprofessional.

Leaving 3 stars when I wanted to leave 2 stars because ONE of front desk staff and ONE of the coaches were professional and nice. Overall my 4 year old has been coming here for almost 6 months and I realized that no one really paid any attention to her and even after coming here for months only ONE of the teachers knows her by name. Every week when we walk in I have to make sure that these coaches even acknowledge her existence and help her to where she needs to go because most of them just ignore her. Keep in mind she’s 4 she needs help and direction and none of them provided that. At the last class we were in I noticed the replacement coach was pretty rude and didn’t even seem to want to be there either causing my sensitive 4 year old to cry half the class. We will definitely not be back here.

We did our first class yesterday. We did the tiny tots class. My daughter even though she didn't follow instructions (to be expected since she just turned 2) had a blast 0 meltdowns when redirected. They had alot to cater for this age group. Kept them going and entertained. The coaches are super friendly. Also the front desk staff was super friendly too.
The facility is clean. Will definitely be going again and I recommend it.

I am extremely impressed and satisfied with the program at Clarksville Elite Gymnastics. The facility is excellent, but the real value is the highly engaged and motivated staff. I love to see everyone doing their part: from coaches engaging with athletes to supervisors providing genuine support to coaches. Everyone is purpose driven and having a great time. I really appreciate the work of Gage and Hayden, they're promoting a healthy environment for our son and he can't wait to go back every week.

We recently moved to the area and have went to both the Tiny Tot classes on Monday, Toddler times and Kinder-zone on Fridays. We love coming everyone is so kind and helpful from the moment we walk through the door to the moment we leave. My 2yo loves coming here and the coaches have taught her so much since January and we usually only come once a week. Coach Jaz is awesome with the toddlers and teaches them, my daughter loves her. Anytime my daughter decides to run away from what the group is doing I have went and walked her back over so they can continue to help the children in the group. All of the coaches are super patient with the kids and do an incredible job. We love coming!!

Not really much progress that I have seen, they have been doing the same repetitive thing for 5 months. Coaches are not adults, and don’t really know how to teach a class of little preschoolers. They pretty much tell them what to do and just allow them to do whatever and there is no one on one support if needed. I can never hear what the coach is saying to my daughter even when right nearby. This was our first gymnastics gym so we had no clue about anything, I didn’t even know my daughter’s level. Not much parent engagement. This gym is far from my house and my daughter hasn’t progressed anyways so we are leaving for a new gym. I do like that the gym is big and the equipment and environment is nice and they offers parents nights out monthly and camp, birthday packages and other things, but I feel they need better coaches that are actually teaching especially the amount of money we are already paying.

(LONG POST but a MOST READ!!! Been to other centers and I am talking from experiences) I just need to brag about this gymnastics center. Everything they have done during this unprecedented time is nothing less than amazing. The extra measures they took, in the beginning, to keep the gym a clean and safe place. To now working with the government to help support essential workers with FREE child care is remarkable. They have posted activities and online workout sessions to keep the kids happy and healthy from home. Even before this pandemic, I felt like this gym is world-class. You can tell that the coaches and staff love what they do - the environment and energy is always positive. Not to mention the skills my daughter has gained not only as a gymnast but an individual allow is why I love this place so much. I am blessed to call CEGC a family and 2nd home to my children.

I took my 2 year old to a mommy and tot trial and was very disappointed. And Im posting here well because they had NO adults to voice my concerns to. I’m going to be extremely surprised if my toddler doesn’t wake up with whiplash tomorrow.. these baby’s have no business climbing a idk 24 ft slide by themselves. I left this class early because we had no safety instructions or directions from the instructor I could hardly hear her from 3ft away going onto the next activity. Which would be ok let’s do this and then just figure it out for yourself... and having a class with baby to toddlers still growing and being able to be hurt easily I think someone more involved and possibly a adult should be there.

My level 7 "Team" daughter has been at CEGC for 4 years now. We have experience with several gyms both local and not as we are a military family and have participated in gymnastics over the last 10 years in a variety of places and settings. We like to consider ourselves as well versed on the subject of gymnastics in particular the varying facilities, parents, coaches and teaching styles. We have been at CEGC for 4 years not because there is no other option for my gymnast, but because of the open door policy up-held by the owner, and the genuiness of many of the coaches at the facility. Let's face it, there are individuals in each and every profession that represent their jobs poorly, however, it has been our experience that every concern or question regarding the owners or his staff is swiftly addressed. My daughter has much improved since joining CEGC, and is quite happy with her progression and overall experience as am I. In fact, her younger sister in now attending classes and is showing some prospect as well. Give Larry and his staff a try, and we feel that you will be satisfied with the equipment and the staff overall as well.
