Highly recommend for climbers and non climbers alike!! Went during my two months stay in Chattanooga and got personal training and programming from Paul that he adjusted to my needs on a weekly and often daily basis. The others trainers are great as well and gave exercise alternatives and cues that I still use!

I’m new to gym training and weight lifting, but this gym makes it so easy. Apps to track your training plan, simple to schedule sessions and personal assistance based on what your goals are. The coaches are so helpful and I love the small class sizes, so everyone gets help when they need it.

Crux is an excellent place to get personalized coaching for whatever your athletic goals. The team is especially knowledgeable on how to train for climbing. Prices are fair and the staff is friendly. Can't recommend enough!

Super thankful for Paul's careful and thoughtful guidance. After a shoulder surgery I wasn't sure that I'd be able to get back at it. I noticed immediate improvements in my overall strength and stability. Love his creative workouts that push you and keep you coming back several days a week. Tension board, kettlebells, and great coaching!

I'm going into my third month training with Paul at Crux. At 38 years old, I've never felt better and stronger. The workouts are amazing and provide incredible functional results. His ability to explain the movements and how they apply to my real life applications is unparalleled. Cultivating strength throughout the entire body in a way that is connected and performance oriented in a way I've not experienced before. I'm a climber and whitewater paddler, and the performance increase in both arena's has been unreal. More importantly, my body is moving more fluidly and comfortably in day to day life. If you are reading this, you're obviously curious. To that I say..... better call Paul!

When I first started working out with Paul I had chronic back pain from a lumbar disc herniation. Paul took the time to set up a personal training plan that focused on core strength and flexibility that allowed me to build my fitness level in a safe way that has prevented any further pain. His workouts are fun, diverse, and challenging. I am in the best shape of my life thanks to his instruction and guidance.
