Established in 1997 and proudly serving Nashville since 2016, Jim offers expert strength training, fat loss, muscle building, and online fitness coaching for adults who want real, lasting results. Whether in-person, in-home, or virtual, each program is customized, science-based, and focused on helping you build confidence, strength, and long-term health.

Jim is wonderful. I’ve been fortunate to have worked with Jim off and on for many years. He’s been a constant champion for me during what has felt like many seasons of my life. Jim has deep knowledge of anatomy and a thorough understanding of your body’s needs as it ages, or if you’ve been through a life event and require recovery. He is so much fun (he’s a veritable encyclopedia on music) but is no nonsense at the same time. He cuts out what is unnecessary and focuses on the exact nutrition and fitness regimen necessary for you to reach your goals. There is no wasting of time and energy with Jim! He’s passionate about what he does. If you give Jim 100%, he’ll give you 200%. His online program is flexible and garners results. His in-person program is amazing. When he focuses those beautiful blue eyes on you, you can be certain you have his undivided attention for your entire session. Jim is the best here is!

Jim is an AMAZING personal trainer, look no further if you are looking for someone professional, motivational, empathetic and inspiring. I’ve been able to see clear gains in my strength, and good muscle mass retention while losing weight. He also helped me navigate training through a sprained ankle; I not only continued to get stronger, but I don’t think my ankle would have come back from that injury as quickly without his expertise. I’ve been working with Jim since 2017 and there aren’t enough good things I can say about him! Jim goes over and beyond what any trainer I’ve ever worked with has.
I was in a major car accident in 2018 which led to spine surgery. When I was finally released to workout again, Jim was there every step of the way. He even went as far as to contact my physical therapist and work with her on where my body was in the healing process and tailored my workouts accordingly!
You get far more than just a trainer when you work with Jim. You also get a friend. He genuinely cares about you and your health physically and mentally. There’s no way I would’ve been able to get through my recovery without him being a part of the process. I HIGHLY recommend him as a trainer!!

I reached out to Jimmy a little over a year ago knowing I needed my make a change. I didn’t have a great relationship with food and I definitely had no idea how to lift weights (correctly).
I found it interesting that he wanted to meet first to make sure we were a good fit. At first I was skeptical, I thought “if you’re getting paid, who cares”? Soon I realized that Jimmy does. He genuinely cares about you, your health and your overall well being. He also goes out of his way to log your progress and make sure you’re reaching your goals instead of keeping you stagnant.
What started out as a way for me to get back into shape post-Covid and pre-wedding turned into finding the best health coach I could have asked for. He’s constantly educating himself to make sure he’s the best trainer for his clients and I couldn’t be happier we were a good fit. If you’re looking for someone to help improve your life, not just give you “sets” that you could probably figure out how to do on your own, Jimmy is that guy! :)

Jim is the best. He puts in intentional effort and planning to customize your needs and wants to help you achieve your goals. Jim has a method and reason behind all that he does and focuses on correct execution and progress. ATTENTION TO DETAIL! If you're looking for someone who's so attentive, that they're literally cheering you on, you've found the right trainer. Jim caters your workout to YOU! He recognizes weaknesses and strengths and builds up from there.
He's not your trainer where you feel "taken" and question "what am I getting out of this?" You'll know the first day, he means business, (and very personalbe)and he'll take you to your best self as long as you follow his process and commit to it.
I've been training with Jim for the past year, and still haven't found a trainer who can compete with him. You'll often notice, this guy is training just like he's preaching. That's a hard find.
He also sends out weekly emails (if you sign up) on tips and nutritional guidance.👌

THE BEST experience I've had with a trainer. He is so knowledgable and experienced that he can pivot mid-workout, depending on injury or equipment available (when traveling) and always keeps things fresh and interesting. He challenges you, but always keeps it fun. The workouts are HARD, but I always looked forward to them because I enjoyed hanging out with Jim for that hour and felt great afterwards- AND saw results!

To me, having a personal trainer is a must!
I've tried to motivate myself over the years and always end up with the same results.
I get "sort of" fit for a little while, and then right back to where I started.
The question isn't, do I need a personal trainer; it"s, can i find a good one.
Welp, I finally have and that man is Jim Cipriani!
I've been with him now for over a year and I'm in the best shape of my life.
I've lost over 30Lbs., gained muscle and have all kinds of energy.
Jim has not just taught me how to reach my fitness goals, but how to keep them.
Don't get me wrong, it's you who has to do the work and consistency is the key.
It's being accountable to someone that helps me keep that consistency.
Jim has a wealth of knowledge to draw from and takes the guess work out of what to do and how to do it.
Jim would always say, "trust in the process."

I started with Jim back in February of 2020, and shortly after became pregnant with my first child. I worked with Jim throughout the entire pregnancy, and couldn’t wait to get back to training with him after the baby was born! Jim customized every workout and I felt energized and fit for the entire 9 months. I am already back working with Jim towards new fitness goals. I started with Jim a right before my ACL surgery to speed up recovery, build strength, and get back to sports. It's been over a year since and I couldn't feel better with my knee and lifting more than I have before. I have been working with Jim for two years. Last year I had two knee surgeries on the same knee. Jim created upper body workouts during both recoveries so I could still keep training. After my release to start using my knee again, Jim was ready with workouts to incorporate my lower body. Caefully monitoring my form and ensuring that I experienced no knee pain or slight discomfort. Jim is professional and has a vast knowledge in his field. He is personable and a pleasure to work with.

I love my online personal training! My schedule is unpredictable so having to schedule time with a personal trainer doesn't work for me. However, online training is perfect! Jim designs my workouts to give me the most intensive workouts with the time I have available. The online training app is amazingly easy to track your progress and communicate with him. I've always been driven to train and take care of my body but I wanted to maximize my results. To do this I needed to find someone who could keep me accountable, create a training regimen that delivered results, and give the diet recommendations to achieve those results. My search focused on finding someone that practiced what they preached. Jim appeared to fit that mold so I signed up. I'm in my second year of training with him and he has done an amazing job at delivering in all of those areas. He has much industry experience and knowledge, admirable work ethic, and an unparalleled passion for doing what he does. He probably should charge more for his services but he seems to enjoy it too much to do that.

I signed up for online coaching with Jim at the start of COVID lockdown. It was the BEST decision I've made in years for my fitness goals! He has been super attentive and punctual to every detail of my program. His professionalism and his positive attitude have helped me with confidence and encouragement when I've needed it the most.

LIFE. CHANGING. I came to Jim not feeling very good about myself and nervous to be in a gym. even after my first week with Jim I knew everything was about to change. If you are looking for a personal trainer, look no further. Jim is the best in the business. If you are considering personal training, I urge you to meet with Jim. He works with you and gets to know you and what your goals are. Jim is energetic, kind, easy to work with and kicks your butt. If there's every a scheduling issue Jim always does he best to work you in at another time. I've had other "trainers" before but not like Jim. He knows the science behind every exercise and the body - he will also adapt the workouts if you've had any prior surgeries or injuries. He is truly worth every penny and I am so glad I found him!

My initial reasoning for contacting Jim was to get some basic knowledge on strength training. I had spent years in and out of gyms with my main focus being on cardio, but I never really saw substantial results. I have been working with Jim just shy of two months and my body has changed so much in this time period. It is to the point that I need to buy all new leggings/jeans but I don’t want to just yet because I know I’m not at my final transformation. What I like most about working with Jim is that his focus is on teaching me, not just telling me what to do. I’ve heard Jim say numerous times that I am not always going to have him around and I think that says so much about him as a person. His goal is not to keep me dependent on him so that I continue to pay for sessions. He genuinely wants me to succeed at this on my own. Aside from being an exceptional trainer, his personality deserves five stars too. I can not recommend him enough!

Without a doubt Jim is the best. He works you hard, but you have fun. He will instill in you a life-long love of exercise. Jim brings out the best in people, but it is ultimately up to you to do the work. I worked with Jim for quite some time and I really miss him. But he gave me the tools for success. I'm at my lowest weight and my healthiest at 55! The mark of a GREAT trainer is when you can continue the workouts after you no longer work together. Jim will help you learn, grow and get lean.
